Chapter 4:
You and Shrek and all of your favorite people from Scarlet Hollow are laughing at a party you are throwing at the manor. After Shrek helped you find the gold buried under the library, you had enough funds to fix it up, give everyone at the mine the bonus that the union requested, pay for Kaneeka's vet school tuition, give Sybil a retirement fund, build an expansion for the library, get Reese noticed on deviantArt, support Avery's love of plants, bribe Mayor Jimmy out of office, get an autographed photo of Skunk Ape, and probably help other people too in whatever ways money is good for.
Shrek is your best friend, after the series of adventures you undertook in episodes 9-12 in the Scarlet Hollow canon. You think back on all the wild turns your relationship has taken, all the narrow min-maxing to pass various checks, all the exciting debate on the discord of whether he would be revealed as a romanceable option. That last point got so heated that in episode 11, Wayne had to show up and sit you down to explain that three monstrous love interests was simply too many, and that satisfied most people.
Suddenly, a horrible rumbling noise comes from the manor's foundations. The cliff it was perched on so precariously has finally given in to the inevitable pressure of gravity and foreshadowing! Is this the end for our hero? Will they finally get that game over screen?
