This is a story with Encanto and Danny Phantom. It follows The episode ''The Ultimate Enemy'' In an AU where Danny's family and friends are killed and Clockwork is not willing to turn back time. Danny wants to get away, not wanting to go to Vlad's as he knows that he will turn into Dan if he does. He just does not know where to go. Clockwork helps him by sending him to a hidden town in Colombia called Encanto, a place run by a magical family known as the Madrigals. Clockwork thinks this will be the perfect place for Danny to heal and rest his mind. Danny agrees, wanting to live out his life in peace. Once in Encanto, he finds himself at peace and decides he is done with being Danny Phantom, as his powers have caused him nothing but pain and loss. He himself eventually meets Mirabel Madrigal, known as the only one who did not receive a magical gift like the rest of her family. She feels neglected and unloved by her family, not relating to them at all, and even when she tries to help they ridicule her. Danny starts to bond with her, as he relates on some level. He wishes he could be normal again, get rid of his ghost powers. Can these two broken teens help each other out, and maybe even find love along the way. Obviously Danny x Mirabel.

Amity Park, USA, 2004, outside Nasty Burger

Building were shattered, posts bent. And in the ground lied a glowing figure with flaming white hair,a cape, and glowing red eyes. He had some bruises on him. This was Dan Phantom, the evil ghost from the future and the dark future of Teen hero Danny Fenton, a half human half ghost, who goes by Danny Phantom as his hero identity. Dan had plunged the earth into darkness for 10 years, that was until his past self and former friends had appeared. He came back in order to make sure all his loved ones died as they were destined so he can secure his future. Things were going as planned until his past self returned from the future and fought him. Dan knew he did not need to defeat Danny, just hold him off until the inevitable happened. He was dominating his younger self, until he pushed him too far, and he unleashed a move he was not expecting: his ghostly wail. This is where Dan is now after having been blown back by the attack, as that power was only one HE had recently developed.

''I don't get that power until 10 years from now?!'' Dan said out loud. He did not even get to recollect himself at all, as his younger self appeared in front of him. He looked at him with distain and determination.

''I guess the future isn't as set in stone as you think it is'' Danny says, breathing in and unleashing another ghostly wail with all his might. This sent Dan flying far back, damaging windows and poles. Dan finally crashed into a building and was buried in rubble. This happened as the wail was ending and Danny turned back into his human self. He was tired and out of breathe, falling to his knees tired. He then hears rubble move and looks up, and out ops Dan, damaged with his flame hair almost gone, bruised all over and holding his chest. He glares at Danny

''So that's it, isn't it?'' he asks. Danny just glares back at him as he pulls out the Fenton Thermos.

''Times up!'' he shouts, aiming the thermos at Dan, sucking him in. Before being sucked in, Dan has one final message for Danny.

''It doesn't matter if I break out, your already too late to save them'' Dan says, finally sucked into the thermos. Danny put the lid on, and sighed. That is when he turned around and saw that the Nasty Burger was about to blow up, with his family,friends and teacher stuck to it. Danny ran and tried to transform, but couldn't due to lack of energy.

''I can't go ghost? NOOOOOO!'' Danny shouted as he tripped, and the last thing he saw was his loved ones be blown up in front of his eyes, as he felt the heat of the explosion and then blackness took over him.

Clockwork's Lair, Ghost Zone

Danny groaned as he woke up and looked around. He noticed where he was.

''Clockwork's Lair, How'd I get here?'' Danny asked himself. That is when he remembered what happened and started to cry, falling to his knees, crying over his parents, Jack and Maddie, sister Jazz. He is also cried over his best friend Tucker, and even his teacher Mr. Lancer, who always believed he could be a good student. Then there was Sam, his other best friend and the girl he liked. He only recently started realizing his feelings for her, but now he would never get to tell her.

''I failed'' Danny said. That is when he heard a voice

''You have not failed Daniel'' the voice said. That is when he turned around and saw it was Clockwork, Master of Time. He was holding a Thermos.

''I know you feel you failed because you failed to save your loved ones, for that I am sorry, but you have changed your future by refusing to become Dan'' he said, putting the Thermos on a pedestal, where it would stay for all time. Danny looked at Clockwork sad but suddenly has a hopeful idea

''Could you possibly bring them back by reversing time'' Danny asked hopeful. Clockwork frowned, which gave Danny bad feelings.

''I am sorry Danny, but I cannot. I am already in trouble with the Observers as is with how I have manipulated time. I cannot help you bring your family back'' he said to Danny. This made Danny sad and want to cry more, but Clockwork put a hand on his shoulder.

''However I can do something for you, something that can bring you peace and calm of mind'' He said. This made Danny look at him questionably.

''I know you do not want to go to Vlads, in fear you will become Dan, right?'' Clockwork asks. Danny nods. That is when Clockwork opens a portal, showing a village somewhere. Clockwork turns to Danny

''This is a village known as Encanto, circa 1950's. It is a village hidden in the mountains of Columbia. It is a paradise Danny. It is lead by a family known as the Madrigals, who all have magical abilities that help their community. This is a place you can go to live out your life in peace, no more fighting, no more villains, you don't have to be Danny Phantom anymore if you wish'' Clockwork said. Danny was shocked,but considered it. His only other alternative was to go to Vlad, which he will not do, and this place sounded nice, no more fighting, and he would not even need to serve the community with his powers, they already have people for that. Danny smiled at this a bit, and made his decision.

''I'll do it'' Danny says. Clockwork smiles and opens up the portal. Danny walks up to it.

''Have a good new life Danny'' Clockwork says. Danny looks at him kind of sad

''Thanks Clockwork, for trying to help with everything. If this will be the last time I see you… Then goodbye'' Danny says, shaking his hand. Clockwork shakes back smiling.

''Don't worry we will see each other again one day, but for now enjoy yourself' He says. Danny smiles and turns towards the portal and after taking a breath, he walks through. Danny was now gone.

''Good luck Danny, I hope you enjoy your new life… and hope you will enjoy meeting Ms. Mirabel. She and her family will need your help, but most importantly her, as she is similar to you in many ways. Hopefully you will help each other and become fast friends…and even more than that.'' Clockworks says smiling.

Ok Hope you enjoyed the intro. Now why did I pick this type of crossover. Well few reasons.

Danny and Mirabel are like opposite ends of a spectrum but with different issues.

Related to point one, Danny after his families loss would want to not use his ghost powers anymore, while Mirabel felt left out for not having a gift and not being as spectacular as the rest of her family. Danny's job will be to help Mirabel realize she is special even without a gift, while Mirabel would help Danny realize his powers are a great force of good and he should be proud of them. This will be a process of bonding for them to heal each other and help each other feel whole again.

Third point, the interactions would be funny as they seem similar In personality in some aspects, such as awkwardness and goofiness. The scenes with the family will be funny though. Imagine they find out about Danny's powers and all the reactions. Some will panic thinking he is evil, while others think it is cool. I could think of Abuela just wanting to pair Danny with Mirabel with his powers, as it could lead to new opportunities for future Madrigal descendants.
