Chapter 7
"Yuki!" I heard Tamaki yell "tell me it's a lie, tell me that you and Kyoya never..!" he started and I blinked as he pulled out his laptop and showed me a picture of Kyoya and I in a bed together with him smirking as we laid with him spooning me and I was blushing as I looked away from him.
"…" my jaw dropped as my face went red.
"Yuki I didn't know you and sempai were getting along so well" Haruhi said and I covered her eyes.
"Look away from that ridiculous garbage," I yelled then I looked at Tamaki "and for your information no we never did that. Kyoya hired some girl who enjoys making pictures like that to do that." I said glaring at Kyoya who merely smiled.
"Now, now everyone it's time to get ready for our guests." Kyoya said with a smirk and soon everyone started to get changed in garb that made them appear to be from an Arabian kingdom with Tamaki as the Saltine.
Yet the first guest to arrive turned out to be a young boy from the elementary part of the academy.
"Shiro, Shiro Takaoji? What are you doing here?" I said surprised.
"You know him sempai" the twins said.
"Yes of course he's a student of the elementary music class I help out with from time to time." I said calmly before I walked up to the little boy "Why are you here Shiro?"
"Yuki senpai?" Shiro said surprised but then he suddenly glared at me "I HATE YOU SENPAI!" he yelled and my eyes grew wide in shock.
"Shiro?" I said confused and frozen so Kyoya walked up to me and pulled me away as I was still in my state of shock.
"I want the host club king to take me on as an apprentice." Shiro went on to say surprising every one of the other hosts and to cause Tamaki to blush from the honor, I think.
The next day
"He-he hates me..." I mumbled as I sat in the corner that Tamaki normally occupied when he was in his moments of despair.
"I wonder what's gotten Yuki so upset?" a girl said as she and a few others were sitting around a table that I was supposed to be working at.
"Do you think he and Kyoya had a fight or something?" another girl asked.
"Oh my gosh that would make so much since they had a fight and Kyoya-san said he hates Yuki so now Yuki's all depress."
"We need to do something to help Yuki." another girl said and soon several other girls joined in and they all came up with a plan in order to try and cheer up their favorite host.
"Um Yuki-san," a girl said walking up to me and I looked at them with sadness in my eyes "did you and Kyoya have a fight?" she asked as she sat on a pillow next to me and soon several of the other girls did the same as I held my knees to my chest.
"No, Kyoya and I haven't had a fight." I said with a small chuckle.
"Then who has upset you so much?" another girl asked as she and the others looked worried.
"The kings apprentice," I said and they looked surprised "he's a student in the elementary music class I help out with he said he hates me. I don't understand why but that bugs me to the point I feel really depressed. Maybe I just don't like the idea of a child hating anyone or maybe it's the fact that he says he hates me the hurts most. I don't understand but it makes me sad either way."
"Oh Yuki," the girls around me said with tears in their eyes "we'll do anything we can to cheer you up."
"Well in that case you might want to check out all the merchandise on our website that features Yuki and myself." Kyoya said with a laptop in hand showing some of pictures of me and him and they instantly gushed over the computer leaving me alone as Kyoya knelt down beside me "You need to stop acting like this Yuki. If you keep this up then you may scare some of our customers away."
"Right." I said standing up and heading to the back room where I got myself a glass of water and downed it quickly before I leaned back against the counter.
"You need to stop this." Kyoya said since he apparently followed me.
"Sorry." I said looking away from him but that seemed to only upset him as he was suddenly standing in front of me with his hands on either side of me leaning against the counter as well.
"That's not good enough." he said calmly and I started to get angry.
"And what you want me to be, all smiles and rainbows just because you tell me too, sorry to tell you this but I'm not some kind of doll you can have act as any way you want me too." I said angrily as I glared at him.
"Your so infuriating you know that." Kyoya said glaring at me.
"Well sorry I can only be myself, not some other person you want me to become you stupid shadow king!" I nearly yelled.
"Yet that's all I want from you." Kyoya said suddenly smirking surprising me but then he did something that surprised me even more. He, Kyoya Ootori, kissed me.
Not on the forehead like before, he kissed me on the lips. He stole my first kiss with his greedy lips as my eyes widened and he leaned in further pressing his body against mine to the point I could feel the counter digging in to my back slightly.
"stupid woman" he whispered as he pulled away slightly only to lean in again and kiss me once again.
Only this time his hands moved so that he had on arm wrapped around my waist and the other behind my head as he seemed to pull our bodies together even more than before. I was starting to enjoy the kiss as my eyes slowly closed.
"Yuki… Yuki" a voice said and when I opened my eyes I found that I was still in the corner only apparently I had fallen asleep during host hours and it seems Kyoya made a profit from it by allowing different girls to lay my head in their laps for a specified amount of time.
"You were really dead asleep weren't you Yuki-chan." Hunny said happily and I rubbed my eyes childishly before I yawned and nodded.
"It would seem so..." I said then I looked rather serious as my bangs seemed to hide my eyes 'But what disturbs me the most is I think I … somewhere deep in my heart I rather enjoyed that dream I had. No it was no dream.' I thought mentally shaking my head 'It was a nightmare, there's no chance the shadow king could like me like that. Besides he's set to become the next heir to his family's company he has no time to deal with someone like me.'
But then I looked at the time and froze.
"Huh something wrong Yuki-chan?" Hunny asked.
"I'm running late again" I said standing up and running out of the room.
"Buh where do you think she's going?" the twins asked out loud.
Later at the elementary school music room I sat surrounded my elementary students as I went over the basics of a violin and they seemed to absorb the information like sponges yet still asked me questions about various things.
"Yuki-Senpai will you help me with this piece?" a little girl asked looking at a piano composition made for a duet.
"hn" I said thinking to my self "Where's your partner don't the two of you normally play together?" I asked.
"Yeah but when I asked him he said he didn't like the piano anymore" the girl said sadly.
"Alright I'll do what I can. It's been a while since I've tried to play this piece so forgive me if I make a mistake from time to time." I said smiling and the little girl looked beyond happy before she pulled me over to the grand piano.
It was while we were playing that I noticed Shiro watching us and I instantly made the connection. After all the girl I was playing with was going to be moving away soon and I can only assume that Shiro liked her which would explain why he hated me since she seemed to enjoy it when I helped them out from time to time.
But then suddenly we could all hear someone yelling causing the girl and I to run out of the room only to see Shiro yelling at the host club.
"What's going on out here?" I asked and the club all looked away from me and the little girl before they carried Shiro away.
"What are they going to do with Shiro, Yuki sempai?"
"Don't worry, nothing bad will happen. I promise" I said before I ran off to catch up with the others.
Once at the host club room I had managed to arrive just a little late but I heard the sounds of a piano.
'Something tells me things are now going to be just fine.' I thought before I headed back to the elementary building.
By the end of the week Tamaki had asked me to bring the little girl Hina to the host club room for a special surprise and I trusted them enough to actually do so.
Once Hina and I arrived the others were dressed in white tuxes all bowing in welcome to the small princess.
And in the middle of the room were two grand pianos and sitting in front of one of them was Shiro.
To finish it all off in a cute and memorable way Shiro timidly asked Hina to play the duet with him which she happily agreed to with a hint of a blush on her young cheeks.
"You know maybe you guys aren't as bad as you seem some times." I said crossing my arms and the twins looked offended and Tamaki just smiled. Hunny giggled at the compliment and Mori smiled softly. Haruhi stood beside me as we both smiled at each other then I looked towards Kyoya only to see him smirking as he looked at me from the corner of his eyes before he looked away as a smile appeared, a genuine smile, but it slowly disappeared to his host smile.
After the little recital Shiro and Hina were about to leave, but Shiro cautiously walked up to me and before I knew it he hugged me which I quickly returned.
"I'm sorry Yuki-senpai." he said and I smiled down at him.
"I forgive you, Shiro." I said smiling had he smiled back at me.
"Than can I ask you to help me learn more about playing the piano again" he asked happily and I nodded.
"Of course."
