chapter 8
"So... where are we again?" I said as I was slouching slightly as Haruhi and I found our selves surrounded by tropical birds, palm trees and other tropical scenery.
"I think we're still in Japan, but Japan's not exactly known for it's tropical locations" Haruhi said as the two of us were at a loss.
"Behold Haruhi, tropical birds aren't they breath taking? I wonder what their called." Tamaki said trying to impress Haruhi.
"Um, where was the exit again?"
'Ok time to think how did we end up in this situation' I thought trying to recall how Haruhi and I got to this tropical themed place.
The day had seemed like any other as Haruhi and I were walking home from classes when suddenly the twins ran up behind Haruhi and carried her away leaving me blinking in shock. Yet before I could attempt to follow them I found my self being thrown over someone's shoulder.
"Target aquired" a deep voice said.
"Hey Yuki-chan" I heard the familiar voice of Hunny say happily as he suddenly bounced in to my line of vision behind the person carrying me.
'So I'm on Mori's shoulder?' I thought as I blinked before I asked "what's going on?"
"you'll see" Hunny said smiling happily.
Next thing I knew I was in a limo next to the shadow king himself as he was going over some notes for club I could only assume.
"What just happened?" I asked confused.
"You needn't worry about it." Kyoya said calmly as he fixed his glasses before flashing me a mischievous smile.
"Your joking right?" I asked dryly.
"Just relax, and enjoy it while you can, you'll find out soon enough." he said closing his note book and leaning back in the seat as he now now his arm over my shoulders before leaning closer "I know I'll certainly enjoy this."
"And that's supposed to make me relax how?" I asked as my eye twitched out of annoyance but yet again he merely smirked before he suddenly managed to maneuver my head under his with his arm around me.
"Trust me you'll like this." he said as he started to rub circles in my my arm with his thumb and before I knew it I felt relaxed enough I nearly fell asleep on him. But before I could subcome to the depths of my subconscious the limo stopped and Kyoya moved as if he planned to carry me.
"I'm still awake." I said pulling away from him and he merely hummed.
"So you are." he said before me moved away and opened the door for me offering me his hand as I got out.
Suddenly before I could accept his hand the twins appeared and dragged me away and shoved in to a changing room where Haruhi and two identical maids stood amongst a large selection of bathing suites.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me." I muttered as my eyebrow started to twitch.
Eventually after arguing with the maids they settled on letting Haruhi wear a one piece pink suite yet when given the opportunity I kicked the maids out and looked around for something I felt was suitable for myself.
But alas even though I enjoyed swimming and playing in the water when I could I just didn't feel like it today. So in the end I managed to find a simple purple tankini with two straps and a sweetheart like neckline. I paired the tankini top with a simple pair of black female swim shorts that had two pockets and a white tie string. Yet before I stepped out of the changing room I happened upon a simple looking pullover hoody with no sleeves and a white draw string hung out of each side of the hoody. The pullover starts a light lavender color at the top of the hood but as it goes on it turns a deep purple near the bottom with a single pocket in the front.
"This should do." I said looking the mirror provided in the room but before I left I decided to put on a arm band I had brought with me by accident. The band it's self as a simple strip of black leather with a black leather strap connected to lit like a belt. "Done"
And once I stepped out of the changing room I found Tamaki standing there in red trunks.
"Very good, daddy approves," he said smiling as I blinked confused before I walked away to find Haruhi who now had a yellow pullover and a pair of shorts on over the suite.
"Tamaki?" I asked and she simply nodded before I sighed.
And so this lead us to the current events.
"So... where are we again?" I said as I was slouching slightly as Haruhi and I looked around.
"I think we're still in Japan, but Japan's not exactly known for it's tropical locations" Haruhi said as the two of us were at a loss.
"Behold Haruhi, tropical birds aren't they breath taking? I wonder what their called." Tamaki said trying to impress Haruhi.
"Um where was the exit again?" she and I muttered.
"Try to make the most of this down time, just relax. We're so worried about keeping our good looks day and night we deserve a little vacation." Tamaki said now lounging in a lawn chair under a large umbrella with an orange colored drink in his hand.
"Personally I think this is pointless and a waist of time. so can I go home now?" Haruhi asked.
"We need to do some studying and we had a lot of laundry to do today." I added in.
"Where are we anyway?" both Haruhi and I managed to say at the same time.
"This place is a brand new theme park that my family the ootroi group runs. It's called the tropical aqua gardens." Kyoya answered.
"So in other words it's a water park for people wanting to go vacation yet not having the means or time to do so?" I asked simply as I crossed my arms "There for this place is meant to relieve stress levels there for making it classify as a medical center of sorts."
"Very good Yuki your learning rather quickly," Kyoya said smiling as my eye brow started to twitch slightly "The park doesn't open until next month but the host club was given a special advanced invitation."
"Ah it's so relaxing with out having to entertain all our young guests. It's kind of like an escape for handsome young soldiers. I guess that's what you'd call it" Tamaki said gazing up at the sky through the clear ceiling.
"What ever I'm going to walk around since we obviously have no choice but to stay here with you guys." I said before I walked off.
Later I had reached the end of the current pool since it seemed like the safest way to keep from getting lost yet unexpectedly I saw a large wave crash in to the end and in it was none other than Hunny.
"Hunny you alright?" I called out as I ran to him as he was coughing slightly to get any water out of his lungs.
"Yeah I'm fine Yuki-chan. What are you doing here?" he asked me as he blinked his eyes after trying to rub the water away from them.
"I was following the current pool as I walked around since it seemed like a way to keep form getting lost here." I answered and he nodded but then suddenly an alligater popped up surprising us so we quickly ran off in to the jungle only to regret it later.
"How about we climb up in the trees to figure out where we are Yuki-chan" Hunny asked and I nodded and soon we both started up the trees. But once we got high enough we managed to spot Mori and Haruhi, they were surrounded by men dressed in black like police officers then one went to pull Haruhi away from Mori and I instantly became angry.
Quickly grabbing a vine Hunny and I seemed to have the same idea as we both swung down on vines and attacked the men in black after taking out two men Hunny noticed I was rather pissed off so he backed off and stood by Mori and Haruhi as they all watched me easily take down all but three of the nine fully grown men since Hunny took out two and Mori took out one.
"Nobody tries to hurt my sister and gets away with it understand." I growled out in a low and haunting voice.
"Yeah hurting our friends is bad got it." Hunny said in a cute yet serious way.
"You ok Yuki?" Haruhi asked me causing me to slowly turn and face her with a serious look on my face before I suddenly started to check her for injures "I'm not hurt Yuki." she said grabbing my hands and trying to calm me down "It's alright now."
Upon hearing her words I suddenly pulled her in to a hug with my bangs hidding my eyes I was shaking slightly out of fear that something may have happened to her.
"I'm fine sister, you don't need to worry."
"Haruhi! Haruhi are you alright" Tamaki said.
"I'm fine but stay back ok" Haruhi said but Tamaki didn't seem to hear her.
Then when he went to take Haruhi away from me and hug her I instantly attacked as he was now on the ground as I held his arm behind his back in a painful manor. Quickly Mori went to stop me but I merely through him to the ground. Then Hunny even about to try and stop me.
"Guys wait.." Haruhi said stepping in between Hunny and I as we were both in a crouched position preparing to strike.
"Haruhi what's going on?" the twins and Tamaki asked.
"Just give me a moment to calm her down she's not her self right now." Haruhi said before she walked up to me and hugged me and quickly I hugged her back "Everythings alright now, we're safe."
"We're... Safe" I whispered before I blinked and looked around "Um Haruhi what just happened?" I said confused as the guys were staring at me and there were nine men on the ground.
"You mean you don't remember?" the twins asked now standing near me and I just blinked.
"When ever I'm in danger Yuki's protective side comes out and keeps me safe from everything until I finally tell her everything's alright." Haruhi explained moving away from me.
"Interesting." Kyoya said standing behind me as the twins moved away from us to observe the fallen men.
"I'm not sure what happened here but at least their still alive." Hikaru said poking one of the fallen men.
"It's pretty amazing that this is Hunny sempai's work he must have been holding back." Kaoru said also poking one of the fallen men.
"Holding back?" I asked looking at the fallen men a little surprised as my confused mind instantly assumed that Hunny must have defeated all of the men on the ground.
"So then?" Kaoru started.
"You two don't know about senpai?" Hikaru finished "The Huninozuka's are famous for their martial arts. Not only have they trained the police and SDF forces but they've also worked with several over seas militaires."
"Hunny in particular has been the dreadnought off the Huninozuka family. By the time he was in middle school he became the national champion in both karate and judo." Kyoya added in.
"Mori Senpai's no slouch either he won the national kendo championship when he was just in middle school." Tamaki also added.
"We humbly apologize," the police force members said all bowing to Hunny all mentioning that they were students at one of his family's dojo's and asking for his forgiveness.
"But hold on, Yuki's the one that took down most of them." Haruhi said and I froze.
"I did what?" I asked nervously as the others were now all looking at me surprised.
"Yeah that's right. Yuki chan looked really mad, so I let her fight them, I only took out two of them and takashi took out one." Hunny said happily.
'So I beat up six of these guys?' I thought looking depressed 'I promised my sensei I wouldn't use my skills out of anger and now i've broken that promise. I can never look my sensei in the face again.'
"Where did you learn to fight like that?" the twins asked.
"Um an old guy from around our neighborhood saw me standing up to some bullies before for one of the younger kids. I could tell he wasn't from around our area, but he offered to give me free karate and judo lessons as long as I never used the skills in anger but only to protect." I said.
"An old man?" the twins asked "sounds kind of fishy to us"
"Be nice, I was only six at the time and I didn't know any better. Anyways, I agreed and he's been my teacher ever since. Every now and again he tells me I should join some of the tournaments, but I refuse since I know we don't have the money needed for the entrance fees." I said with a shrug. Then I looked depressed again "But I just broke that promise since I can tell I was really angry before my memory blacks out."
"No you didn't, you protected haru-chan." Hunny said smiling and I sighed.
"I hope sensei sees it like that." I said with a sigh.
Later as the sun was starting to set above we had all managed to make it back to where we had arrived.
"Maybe we should go to the beach next" the twins suggested.
"Are you kidding Haruhi's not interested in that." Tamaki said.
"Actually the beach sounds like fun." Haruhi said.
"Man when was the last time we went to the beach, I actually kind of miss riding my surf board on the waves." I said smiling then I looked thoughtfull 'Then again it's been a while since i've rode my skateboard too. Maybe i'll ride it to school one day' I thought
"We can even watch the sun set like we used to Yuki." Haruhi suggested and I smiled.
"Yeah and make sandcastles too, or maybe we can bury someone's body in sand leaving just their head." I laughed.
