Their cries faded away into the night and they were once more left alone at a gravesite. When Clear Sky glanced over he noticed that the others were trotting forward towards Tall Shadow. Had she said something?

He absentmindedly walked towards them, keeping a safe distance away like before, he was the only one of his camp here, what if they decided to attack him? He couldn't say that he didn't deserve it but…

Gray Wing hobbled in and settled in beside him. Clear Sky couldn't help but glance down at Gray Wing's leg with a hint of worry.

Tall Shadow leaped onto the tall rock in the center in a few swift leaps, raising her head towards the stars above, their ancestors, the cats who knew what they had to do, "Listen to me all of you! This must never happen again! We should listen to the cats in the stars, to the warning they gave us. From now on we have to work together peacefully, and at the next full moon we must return to this clearing to hear more messages from the spirit cats."

Clear Sky's relieved meow broke in, "Yes!"

Every cat glanced towards him but he didn't care his meow carrying across the clearing. "At last there are cats who will tell us what to do!"

Gray Wing's eyes shone with relief at knowing this information, darker colored gray ears perking upwards towards Clear Sky, "So that's why you've been so protective and hostile! All this time your responsibilities have been too much for you. You tried to do the right thing, but you asked too much of yourself."

Clear Sky looked around at the other cats in the clearing, most with suspicion written clearly on their faces, others that were more skeptical like Tall Shadow, and then there was Gray Wing, his gray fur matted with blood and earth, behind him was Thunder who was watching with skeptical flattened ears, but in his eyes was hope clearly showing through. Panic flared inside him, what if he slipped again? Destroyed their faith in him again… he wanted to change but if he disappointed them… Clear Sky turned his head away, "I'm so sorry…"

On top of the rock, Tall Shadow made a noise to attract everyone's attention once more, waiting for them to glance back over, "If I can be allowed to finish what I was saying . . ." The others watched with interest, although a few eyes still wandered back towards Clear Sky, "I want a promise that all cats will respect one another. No more fighting over territory and prey. Too much has happened, and all of us need time to recover. Indeed, I believe that any cat who needs help should receive it: whoever the cat, and wherever they've chosen to live. Do you agree?" Her eyes bored into Clear Sky with a clear message before flicking towards Gray Wing beside him.

Gray Wing didn't meet her gaze though, instead nodding towards Thunder who was sitting neatly closer to the rock Tall Shadow stood upon, the same rock Clear Sky had trapped them on earlier. "My young kin proved himself in battle." said Gray Wing steadily, pride filling his voice, "Tall Shadow, he is the one you should look to in times like these."

Tall Shadow paused, expecting a meow of agreement from Gray Wing, gaining the support of more cats, and another resounding chorus of promises, to show their unitedness, and they could branch off from there. Still she respected Gray Wing despite their differences and disagreements at times, and regarded Thunder carefully.

As much as she wanted to give Thunder a chance she always thought logically, Thunder had in the grand scheme of things only recently rejoined the camp, he was young too. Switching leaders in general wouldn't be a good idea in these times.

Thunder looked hesitant but eventually spoke, "Yes, we should help any cat in trouble." The idea of becoming a leader able to compare to Gray Wing and Tall Shadow seemed absolutely lucidious to him, but if this was a way to help cats, and take some ease off of his adoptive father then he'd do it gladly and to the best of his ability.

Lightning Tail and Acorn Fur delightedly cheered his name, "Thunder! Thunder! Thunder!" Wind Runner looked a little miffed but otherwise pleased with Gray Wing's decision and let out a small purr of approval.

River Ripple nodded his head towards Thunder. "I will help any cat I can," he said respectfully, acknowledging Thunder as another leader.

Thunder seemed to be an overwhelmingly popular choice mused Tall Shadow. Perhaps she could persuade Gray Wing to retake his old role to help with the reconstruction and Thunder could communicate with Clear Sky's camp since he did spend a good deal of time in their camp. Those matters could be dealt with later and she set her emerald green eyes upon a certain light gray tom cat who had been awfully silent, "Clear Sky, do you agree?"

Clear Sky looked around as if startled before answering, "Yes一yes I agree…" Tall Shadow stared at him with faint disdain, she may have traveled with him from the mountains but she could hardly recognize him these days, her tail twitched from faint annoyance that he seemed to not be partaking in this serious situation that he was the cause of.

Ignoring Clear Sky for a minute to address another issue since that seemed to be the closest thing to an agreement she would get from Clear Sky, Tall Shadow waited for the rest of the cats to quiet down, "It's time for all of us to head home. To the forest or the hollow on the moor. Every cat is free to choose until we figure out what to do next meeting."

Acorn Fur looked back and forth between the two sides in bewilderment. The thought of heading back to the cold and lifeless hollow without both of her parents gentle guidance felt unimaginable, she glanced down at where they had put their bodies to rest, heading back would only remind her of what she had lost… and yet starting anew in a new possibly hostile camp frightened her to her bones.

"I don't live in either camp," River Ripple pitched in. "But any cat is welcome to come with me to my island home."

The river… huh… Acorn Fur didn't think that sounded too bad, it would truly be a place where she would recognize nothing, a true fresh start, she couldn't see anyone else even considering it though so she hesitated once more filling her head with doubts. Maybe they would move to this place though, even though there was death littered around it was also the first place she saw cats she never thought she could see again alive and illuminated. Then she would be able to move on, a new environment, a new camp.

Lightning Tail nudged her, breaking her from her thoughts, "Come on Acorn Fur, we are going to be left behind."

Acorn Fur cast one longing glance towards Clear Sky saying his goodbyes to the moor cats. Maybe, hopefully they could all come to live here…
