Glee:
The Perks of Braces and Glasses:
Chapter 9:
The plan:
The glee club rehearsed after school, and took all the time they needed.
Mr Schuester: OK, let's go over the songs one more time. OK, the boys and girls will be doing a number each, then one big number altogether sounds good. So, what I need you guys to do now is get into your boy and girl groups and decide between you what you would like to sing.
(they all get into their groups. Tina then suddenly slips, and Tyger catches her in his arms.)
Tyger: Are you OK?
Tina: Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks.
Tyger: Sure, no problem.
(as Tyger walks away, the girls all squeal and run to Tina.)
Unique: OK, am I going crazy, or is he checking you out?
Tina: I don't know. What if he doesn't like me?
Marley: Come on, he saved you from getting hurt. That is both heroic and romantic.
Tina: Yeah, I guess.
(they all squealed.)
Mr Schuester: OK, guys, let's do some vocal warm-ups. Tyger, you go first.
Tyger: OK. (he sings really well, and the Cheerios hear him outside.) I want to rock, oh yeah yeah, I want to rock...
But, what they didn't know was that The Cheerios were spying on them and they suddenly realised that Tyger was really talented...
Bree: Can you believe this?
Daniel: I know, they're really good!
Bree: Hello! That's the point! If they beat us in the talent show, the whole school will think that we're not perfect without Tyger! But, I've got a plan. Operation Destroy New Directions is a go!
(they all put their hands together and do their Cheerio poses.)
The next day, the Cheerios had called Tyger back into their bathroom for a meeting; they wanted Tyger back.
Tyger: I don't get it; first you kick me out because of my braces and glasses, and now, all of a sudden, you guys want me back?
Bree: Yeah, we realised we were way too hard on you, so we want to make it up to you. I mean, braces and glasses are the hot new thing now, right Cheerios?
Tyger: Really, guys, really?
Cheerios: Yeah!
Bree: And, let's face it, we have been through a lot together.
Tyger: Yeah, I guess we have.
Bree: So will you please come back to us? Cheerio power?
Tyger: (sighs) OK, Cheerio power!
(they pose.)
Tyger: But wait, I need my uniform!
Bree: Don't worry, it's in the end stall! Why don't you go get changed?
Tyger: OK! (he goes into the end stall to change into his uniform.)
(Tina knocks on the door.)
Bree: (opens the door.) What is it, Tina Cohen-Chang?
Tina: Sorry, I was just wondering where Tyger was.
Bree: Oh, he's in here. He's back with us now.
Tina: What? But why would he do that?!
Bree: Looks like he won't be needing you or your pathetic singing friends. So, bye-bye. Oh, and FYI, Tyger will NEVER love you!
(Tina runs out in tears.)
Bree: Don't worry, I got rid of that.
(Tyger comes out in his Cheerio uniform.)
Tyger: So, how do I look?
Bree: Great! So for the talent show, T-Flame, we'll definitely need one of your routines, and... (she brings out the head of the school mascot.) this! It's the head of our school mascot, and you can totally wear it for the show!
Tyger: But why?
Bree: To show school spirit, of course! Come on, Cheerios, we have some practicing to do!
Tyger was slightly confused about the situation. Meanwhile, back at the glee club...
(Tina runs in with tears in her eyes.)
Unique: Tina, what's wrong?
Tina: They took him back! The Cheerios took Tyger back!
Marley: Oh no.
Tina: Why would they do that?! He's too cool for them!
Marley: They must've realised that they're no good without him
Mr Schuester: Then I guess Jake will have to do Tyger's parts in the song. We'll be OK.
What will happen next?
