(Carlos POV)
I couldn't stand there anymore and watch my brother cry out in pain. I had to do something to help Logan, to stop all his pain so that leads us to where we are right now. In a black van with the windows darken out, no license plate and the sound of God knows how many cops cars behind us as we race down the highway. "Carlos is the cops don't kill us I think your dad will do it." James yelled from the driver seat. I couldn't help but smile this was so cool and I couldn't say I wasn't loving it either. What a rush… I moved and looked out one of the little peep hole on the window to see what was going on. More cop cars had joined in on the chase now.
"James you might want to go a little faster they are gaining on us now." I yelled out as James made a very sharp turn causing Kendall and myself to fly across the back of the van to the other side. I shook it off and looked to Kendall… "Kendall you ok over there buddy?" I asked him but I knew he couldn't tell me anything because he had changed into a wolf. James and I are so confused about all of this. Logan had changed as well. Kendall stood up and growled at me. I guess he wasn't ok with what was going on.
"Carlos its time, open up the back doors." James said as he looked into the back. Kendall narrowed his eyes at me. I crawled over to the door and slowly opened them then went back to Kendall and started to strap him in. "I hope this stupid plan of yours works if not your telling Logan you killed his fiancé…" I smiled at James and then back to Kendall.
"James it's all going to be fine, trust me." I looked down at Kendall to make sure everything was ok. Kendall nodded his head and then walked to the open back door. "You know what to do." Kendall licked me and I pushed the door open all the way. Kendall grabbed the rope as I sat stake bored down. Kendall jumped on it, I loosen the rope, and he went flying towards the cop cars. If this wasn't a life or death this would be so cool… "James speed up some more Kendall is out!" I yelled into the front seat. I watched out as Kendall went right by one of the cars he jumped onto the hood. He had a stick in his mouth. He moved his head and bused the window with it.
(Kendall POV)
The pain I was in was becoming too much for me. Something needed to be done. I fell to the ground as I cried out in pain. I could feel Logan and my girls going through the same thing that I was but it was much worse for them than I… I rolled over and clenched my stomach. I could feel something happening. This feeling of I couldn't explain was coming over me. I brought my hands to my face and seen then changing. "Ahh… Logan," I cried out. I was thrown back into my back and yelled out into the jail cell. The pain that came to me was completely new, something that I had never felt before in my life. I could feel my body and bones cracking. "Ahh…" The more screams that I let out the more they started to change into howls. I felt hot tears rolling down my face. Tears that almost burnt into my skin, this pain was starting to overwhelm me. I couldn't think straight. My eyes went to darkness and then the next thing I see is Carlos and James running towards me.
"James in here, hurry up Logan can't hold them off much longer out there." I heard Carlos voice. I opened my eyes to see his smiling face standing outside the bars. He looked scared and then smiled again. "Your so damn cute! Oh my God… Logan is going to love you."
"Carlos I can't hold the door much longer… Logan is going to kill someone out there if we don't hurry up. Grab Kendall now and let's go!" I heard James voice but couldn't see him anywhere. I tried to stand but I couldn't. I was still so weak. I hit the ground and then nothing, total darkness.
(Logan POV)
I needed Kendall and now if not the girls and I were going to die. I knew I had to do something for this pain to stop and I knew what must be done. I must call out to our Mother Moon. I had to overcome this pain to save my family. I closed my eyes and then crawled off the couch over to the window. My body tried and in so much pain. My heart breaking and being torn apart. "Logan my God…" I slowly turned to see Kelly running to my side. I felt her arms come to me. I wanted to welcome them but I couldn't not now. I snarled and pushed her from me.
"Kelly no… I need to save my family…" I told her as I fell to my knees and looked out into the night sky. I looked to her knowing that she was there looking a pond me. I placed my hands on the window ceil… "Mother Moon of Harness help me now in my time of need. Mother Moon send my life and soul back to his home, help me blood of Harness. Help your child of the moon…" I screamed out. I soon felt a powerful window come around me. I fell back and hit the ground as I felt his soul returning to me. I turned to stand on my hands and knees with my head down as I felt our Mother Moon power surround me.
"Logan," Kelly screamed out and went to place her hands around me. As she did, I jolted up and pushed her onto the floor. I backed into the wall and screamed out. I could feel my body changing and it was great. I felt the blood of the Harness running though my soul, fowling into me. I fell as a man only to rise as a wolf. My eyes opened and I knew. I looked around the room as my eyes fell a pond Kelly and then the front door. I heard footsteps only to see Carlos standing by Kelly. Carlos knew he ran to the door as I ran out to save my family.
Not long, we finally made it to the police station. I ran right throw the front door jumping onto the desk that was there. I snarled and growled at one of the cops before jumping him to the ground. I bit down into his arm as blood flowed from him. I pulled from as Carlos and James ran past me into the back of the station. I felt the cops started to move so I turned back to him and growled before biting into his neck. He screamed out in pain as I bit down harder. I could hear footsteps and then the sound of a gun going off. I narrowed my eyes at the man who dare to shoot at me. I turned around and growled out before jumping back over the desk at this man. He felt to the ground. I ran from him before coming back and grabbing his leg. He screamed out and rammed the side of his gun into my head. I shook my head before I grabbed his arm and started to rip. He screamed again as I let go. He backed up. I snarled before I jumped him. His gun flew from his arms. As I looked back I seen James and Carlos running out with Kendall as a few cops took off after them. I smiled on the inside and then turned back to the man that was backing into the wall. I growled again as I walked over towards him. I lunged at him and ripped into his neck until I knew it was broken. I howled out and run out the doors as guns shot followed me.
(Kendall POV)
I am so going to kill Carlos and his great ideas if we make it out of this alive. I standing on a damn cop car breaking the window in with a damn stick in my mouth as the love of my life attack the cop inside the car. I must say it was so damn hot as he bit into that cop. "Baby hurry up! Let's go!" I told him. Logan looked to me with blood running down his mouth. Logan looked to the cop and then jumped though the hold in made in the window. We smiled to each other as Carlos voice was calling out to us. Logan and I both looked to Carlos but couldn't understand what he was saying it was too loud.
"Kenny we have to jump!" I turned to Logan.
"What about the girls…" I asked as Logan bit down onto the rope breaking it from my body. You could now start to feel the car moving back and forth it was going to drift off the road any second now. I turned to him. He as right we needed to jump now. But I was scared of Logan and the girls getting hurt. I didn't want anything to happen to my family. I just got them back.
"Trust me and your wolf Kendall…" I looked to Logan and then back to Carlos. His face was filled with worry. Logan licked me and I turned my eyes back to him. I nodded to him as we jumped from the car, hit the ground and went rolling...
(James POV)
I couldn't believe what was happing right now. I am driving a getaway car, what has my life turned into? I made a another sharp turn into a darken ally way when I heard Carlos screaming. "No…" I quickly turned my head as he ran into the front with tears in his eyes. I know from the look on his face something had happened.
"Carlos what happened back there?" I asked looking towards him and then back to road. "Carlos where are there?" When I glanced in the back, there was no one back there. "Where are Kendall and Logan?" I yelled out. I was worried when I didn't see them.
"They jumped James, they jumped…" Carlos yelled out to me. He was very upset. Closed my eyes and then opened them up. I didn't know what we were going to do now. However, I did know one thing. We needed to ditch the damn van. I slammed the brakes making Carlos hit the dashboard has everything went flying towards the front. "Dude," Carlos yelled to me as he picked himself up off the floor.
"Sorry Los but we need to ditch this van." I didn't give Carlos anytime to think or say anything. I grabbed him and pulled him out the door as we ran into the darkness of the ally. The sound of cop cars could be heard coming from the distance behind us.
(Logan POV)
I rolled and rolled until I hit the water that was down there. "Ah fuck! Great now I am all wet and I don't dry well…" I said to no one really but myself. I rolled over, stood up, and shook the water from my fur. I picked my head up and started to look for Kendall. I turned and saw him lying there not moving next to a tree. "No, no, no…" I yelled out and ran from the water to his side. I knew once I called to our Mother Moon that he would change as I did but I had also forgotten he wasn't born a wolf but human and his body wouldn't be able to handle the change very well. I slid to a stop at his side and started licking him. "Baby please come on open your eyes… please wake up. The girls and I just got you back, please. I need you Kendall. Wake up." I said to him as I pushed him with my head trying to get him to move to do something anything but nothing. I licked him again trying to wake him. I knew in my heart that he wasn't gone from us. I could still his presents and soul within me. I looked down at my love when I heard him moan and start to move. I brought my head back down to his when his eyes started to open. I watched him and waited until I came face to face with his green eyes.
"Agh, Logan what happened?" I moaned out. I didn't answer him. I licked his nose and then laid my head on his chest. I could feel his breathing becoming normal again. I laid there for a few more second and then moved from Kendall so he could sit up. As he did, I finally got a good look at him and my God. He was stunning. In all my life, I had never seen a wolf look like him. His colors were nothing or this world. He was grayish blond, his eyes were the darkest green I had ever seen in my life almost black. God our girls are going to beautiful. "Honey what are you looking at?"
"You your… your just wow." I walked over to Kendall and hugged him with my head. Once I did, you could feel that feeling coming to us, the feeling of our hearts becoming one again our souls reconnecting, our love coming back to us. I pulled away and just licked him until I couldn't anymore. Kendall picked his head up and me and seen the sadness in his eyes.
"I am so sorry Logan for everything. I never wanted this to happen. It just I couldn't take him touching you… I just…" I cut him off by biting his neck and licking him again.
"Baby I would have done that same. Well maybe a lot worse but never again you hear me, never again. The girls and I almost died. Baby I had to call a pond our Mother Moon for help that is why we have changed." I told Kendall he just looked into my eyes. He still didn't understand the power of the Moon. "Kendall our Mother moon is what gives us are strength. She is what gave me the power to save our family."
"I still don't understand all this Harness crap but all I know is that I am here with you and our girls now, safe. I love you Logan but what I felt back there is nothing I ever want to feel again. But what way I feel now is amazing. It is so freeing and I can feel this… I don't know what to call it, a force?" A smiled came to my face. My love was feeling the power of the Harness blood. The power of our souls, I turned to the sky looking up at our Mother Moon and howled out to thank her for everything she has given me tonight. I stopped and looked back at Kendall. It was now time to leave and go find our brothers.
"Baby I hate to say this but you kind of look like a fluffy ball right now." Kendall told me. I looked up at him and growled.
"I don't dry well!" I yelled biting him before I started to run off… I looked up again as Mother Moon shine her light down the path for Kendall and me to follow. I stopped as I heard Kendall running towards me. I smiled and then hit him with my tail and took off again.
"Don't start with me Logie… baby who idea was it to break me out of jail?" He yelled to me from behind. I smiled and didn't say anything. He didn't need to know that it was my idea just yet. That is a story for another time. Kendall and I run down the path to go find our friends and end this horrible day. Besides, I am hungry again… Damnit!
