Hi! Thanks for clicking on this, hopefully you will decide to stay. I always thought about what might happen next with Rory and Lorelai after AYITL.
This is my best shot at what I think might happen! PLEASE COMMENT!
"Mom?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm pregnant"
A few seconds of silence pass.
"Mom?" Rory says again
"Yeah?"
"Did you hear me?"
"I don't think so, it sounded like you said you were pregnant." Lorelai pursed her lips, "honey, is it true?"
Rory pulled four tests out of her pocket. "I'm pretty sure that's what this means."
"Yeah." Lorelai sighed, "Hun are you okay."
''Yeah, i think so. But I know you didn't want me to make the same mistake-" Rory said quickly
"Hold on, you were never a mistake, you know that."
"Wait," Lorelai said, ''Who's the father, It's not Peter, is it?"
"Paul, and no mom, I haven't seen him since January. I'm sure it's Logan's."
"What do you think you're gonna do?"
"I know, I know, I need to find a steady job, and I don't want to be a problem for you and Luke..."
"Hon, why don't you move to Star's Hollow, talk with Lane. You still have 9 months, unless you've been keeping this secret for a while now. Speaking which, are you gonna tell Logan."
"No, he's engaged, he doesn't need to know." Rory stood up, "Let's get ready for your wedding.''
The ceremony was beautiful, tulle still lined the trees and tables were set about. Rory smiled watching her mom get married, she laughed at all of the drunk residents of Stars Hollow. She, Luke, and Lorelai belted I Will Always Love You, in honor of the song that Finally brought them together.
Rory danced, and sang. But she and Lorelai were both still shaken up. Her mother kept glancing worriedly and her.
The next morning Rory called her doctor, they had an appointment ready on Wednesday. She spent her days looking things up, afraid that if she bought books the word would leak out. If that happened it would eventually get to her grandmother, Rory was not excited to tell her.
Wednesday morning finally rolled around and Rory went to her appointment. She was 10 weeks along which lined up to the date that Logan had visited her.
"Is the father coming to the next appointment?" the nurse asked.
"No," Rory sighed, "He will not be coming to any appointments."
"Alright, next time we will do an ultrasound, see you next week."
Rory walked out and immediately started sobbing. Her mother sat down next to her and said "It'll get better, I promise."
