Rory plopped down on the sofa, her eight month pregnant stomach acted as a table as she ate her cereal. Her computer sat in front of her. It was late July, so she was out of work for the summer. But she was still studying to get her masters.

"Jeez, Rory," Lorelai said, pop-tart in her hand. "You don't want to end up like Sherry do you?"

"Mom, I'm studying, and I'm not in labor."

"You say that, but next thing you know you'll be ordering around a high school girl in a hospital so you can get all your work done."

"Seriously!"

"Then you are gonna move to Paris, and do yoga. Finally you are gonna meet the man of your dreams: Jaqu- something, who teaches yoga. See I have you entire life planned out for you!"

"Mom, I'm studying."

"It's the weekend!" Lorelai complained, "I wanna do something fun!"

"What fun can we have, I'm eight months pregnant!"

"I don't know, but I'm warning you, I will take away your computer!"
"You wouldn't dare!"
"Yes I would, so come with me right now or suffer the consequences."

"Fine!"

Eventually they ended up going to the movies, Rory sat uncomfortably the entire time as Braxton Hicks contraction hit her stomach.

When they went home Rory ended up calling Lane. They sat and talked for a while about how much labor hurts.

"I was screaming, especially because I was alone." The contractions came closer together and then my water broke, so I called Zack.''

"Oh, okay, how close were they?"

"I don't remember, but Rory, you're okay right?"

"Yeah, just nervous, we Gilmore Girls don't exactly like to be normal."

"Yeah, that much I know." Rory smiled and hung up.

Three days later when Lorelai was working at the Inn a letter came. It was addressed to Rory. It was from Honor, Logan's sister.

Rory felt a sharp pain in her stomach and decided to ignore it.

Dear Rory, it said

I know we sort of stopped talking so long ago, and so much has changed since then. I don't even have your number, I wrote mine down below. Anyway the news just got to me, and I wanted to see if you were okay. My brother is stupid, and I don't want him to change our relationship. I want to be friends again.

Besides, I want to help. I don't know what my brother's plan is, I don't know if he is gonna help or not, but no matter what. I want to be a good aunt, not only that I want my kids to know yours. I'm going to have my third in January, so they will be close in age.

I'm so sorry Rory.

-Honor.

Another sharp pain.

Rory read it again, and again. She didn't notice the pains in her stomach. She looked down, and hadn't realized her arm wrapped around her torso. She took out her phone and timed the contractions. 6 minutes apart.

She called her mom, no answer. She tried again, nothing.

She tried Lane. "Hey Ror, whats up."

"Umm, I think i'm in labor."
"OH, Cra- I'll be right there." and there she was.

"Did you call your mom?"
"I tried and she didn't pick up."

"Let me try again."

Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring. "Rory, you okay?" Lorelai asked. "NO," Rory said.

"You better get over here fast," Lane interrupted. Lorelai knew exactly what she meant.

5 minutes apart.

"Rory, are you okay?" Lorelai asked.

"Yeah, I think so!"

"How far apart are the contractions?" Lorelai demanded.

"five minutes." Lane informed

"When do we go to the hospital?" Rory asked.

"Soon."

In an hour they were all in the car racing towards the hospital. Lorelai called Emily. Rory was bumping along, complaining that Lane hit all of the bumps in the road.

Her water broke in the car, a strip.

Two hours later Rory sat comfortably in the hospital bed with the drugs keeping her pain free. The doctor came in and told her it was time to push.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh." Rory screamed, pushing for what seemed like the thousandth time.

"One more time." the nurse said. At this point Rory was determined, she'd allready had the You Can DO IT, talks and knew she could. She knew she could .

"Waaaaaahahahahahahh." A new voice cried. Her daughter was placed on her chest, and Rory knew that she would be fine.

"OH, She's beautiful." Emily said.

"What are you going to name her?"

Rory took a breath, "Lorelai Stella Gilmore."

"Stella?" Emily asked.

"Stella means Star. She is going to shine as bright as the little hollow she was raised in."

"What are we going to call her?" Asked Lorelai.

"I was thinking Elli, then right before Stranger Things becomes super popular, we can call her El."

"Elli, I like it."

"One more thing," Rory said, "Lane, you asked me to be your kids' Lorelai Gilmore. Well, I'm not asking you to be like your mother. But will you be Elli's Lane Kim?"
"Of course. But you do know my last name is Kim anymore."

"Of course I know, but I want you to be her Lane KIM. Because that's who I grew up with."

"Of course Rory."

Two Days Later:

Rory and Lorelai were driving around. Elli had finally fallen asleep, and Rory was trying to keep it that way.

"I'm so proud of you kiddo," Lorelai said.

"You've done more than enough for me."

Lorelai took a breath.

"Rory..?"

"Mom.?"

"I'm pregnant."
