Boruto was now huffing as he had just put his aunt into a state of respitory shock. He just attacked a Konoha shinobi. Not just any shinobi, his own aunt. The woman who would take care of him when his mother had clan duties to take care of, the one who had cared for him so deeply, now was lying against a mud wall, with her spine broken
As everyone around them saw what had happened, Boruto could hear everyone whispering thing such as, "It's him...", "It's the Hokage's son." Boruto had no time for this: he had Sunagakure shinobi to kill.
Boruto had begun his bloody rampage. With nothing more than pure, raw strength, ripping and tearing his way through the village's shinobi. He finally made his way to the Kazekage's penthouse, ready to kill Gaara with his own bare hands.
Shikamaru walked into Naruto's office. Shikamaru had seemed shaken, which was unusual for him.
"Sir, we just received word from Suna that Boruto had begun his attack. The task force is on it's way, but I don't know what they can do." He said.
"Any word from Hanabi?" Asked Naruto.
"None, so far. She may already be dead." Said Shikamaru.
"Shit," Naruto said. "Put the village on high alert. I want every available Chunin, Jonin, and Anbu on guard immediately. There's no telling who his next target will be."
"Will do, Lord Seventh."
As soon as Shikamaru left, Naruto pulled out a picture of him and Boruto together. He don't know why he did. All it did was sadden him further.
Boruto, I don't care what you've done. All I want is for you to come home. He thought. He just wanted his son back.
Back at Suna, Sarada, Mitsuki, Hinata, and Himawari had made their way to the Kazekage's home.
"Are you sure Boruto was here?" Asked Sarada.
"Yeah, he was. I can feel traces of his chakra here." Said Hinata.
They broke open the door, and found several dead shinobi everywhere. They went to the Kazekage's office, and found Gaara's body mutilated and bloodied. Hinata gagged at the sight, and threw up as a result.
"What kind of human does this?" Asked Sarada.
"I don't know, but not my brother." Said Himawari.
"What are you talking about? The evidence is right here! He fucking murdered Gaara!" Said Sarada, angrily.
"Boruto always seemed so happy. Then, after his battle with Kawaki, he finally gained full control over Momoshiki's chakra. But then it started to overtake him. He would lose himself, almost as he was slowly drifting towards sheer insanity. Now, he has a set goal in mind: destroy the shinobi. He may be a murderer, but I think part of it is Momoshiki's chakra is driving him mad." Said Himawari. She looked at Hinata, who looked away.
Mitsuki then chimed into the conversation. "If you're right about this, then we still have every reason to consider Boruto a threat. Even if it means killing him, we need to reduce that threat."
"I know." Said Himawari.
Hinata heard someone over the radio. They were talking about a wounded shinobi, and it was Hanabi.
They saw Hanabi being carried by a Jonin shinobi to the Konoha medical camp. They soon approached her as she was being laid onto leather matress.
"Hanabi.." Said Hinata quietly.
"Hinata... I can't... feel... my... legs..." She soon passed out from her wounds.
They soon saw Boruto, who seemingly turned himself in willingly.
"Boruto..." Sarada said under her breath. Resisting the urge to kill him right there and then, she stood down for now.
Boruto was taken aboard an airship on the way back to Konoha to stand trial. He was chained to a metal chair in the airship's brig. He was soon paid a visit by Sarada. She walked into the room, stood in front of Boruto, and slapped him across the face. She would continue to do so multiple times, until his face was red with hand marks.
"What do you have to say for yourself? You wiped out half of the Suna's shinobi, you murdered Gaara, and you nearly killed your own aunt. Give me one... FUCKING good reason why I shouldn't kill you right here, right now, you piece of shit."
Boruto smiled, laughing quietly before saying, "If you think you can stop what's coming, you're sorely mistaken. Over the years, I've rallied a massive following with the same goal in mind: topple the shinobi world. No matter what you do, if you take me into custody, they will break me out, and I will continue my everlasting crusade. You kill me, they will make me a martyr, and they will continue my goal." Boruto said. "Turn on the TV, and see the news."
Sarada turned on the television in the brig, and saw there were thousands, hundreds of thousands, gathered in several shinobi villages demanding the end of the shinobi regime, a lot of them shinobi themselves.
As they arrived in Konoha, they saw thousands gathered outside the Hokage mansion in protest of the shinobi government.
This is the end of the Shinobi world...
To be continued...
