"Just like the old time, right Wall?" -Dick was dodging hits from Brick as he was keeping his balance on the top of the trailer.

"It's Will, not Wall"

"That's what I say!"

"Is it the red hair?!"

"What?"

"You are looking for a Wallly West substitute!"

"That's not true!"

"You don't need me. Not for a mission anyway!"

"Hey! I needed someone who knows the city."

"You needed someone who knows you!"

"You are babbling."

"It's what you want? Fine! You need someone who's not afraid to talk to the big boss!"

"The Markovia kids! You are dropping the ball with them!"

"Taking care of strays wasn't the mission!" -Will and Dick were still fighting Brick getting the upper hand.

"The mission is what the mission becomes! You know that!" -Wil was grunting for lifting Brick over his shoulders.

"Hey! Cut it out! Put me down!" -The red muscle meta was complaining.

"The guy makes a reasonable request!"

"Plus, he's really heavy!" -Dick and Will throw him in front of the vehicle getting injured from being run over. The police have arrived taking the crime boss and his henchmen to prison.

"You were right."

"Of course, I am. I am older and wiser"

"You are a clone, and you are the youngest."

"Hey! I am older than Jim."

"But I'm prettier!"

"All the googles are present and accounted for sir." -Roy was checking his notes on the clipboard.

"This security business is more fun that I thought." -Jim seems to enjoy the wild ride.

"Is this the beginning of a Harper family business?" -Red Arrow hugs his brothers.

"Don't push it."

"Baby steps. But…I think we still have something to do." -Will knew it was time to suit up as the night was upon them. Guardian, Arsenal, Red Arrow and Nightwing were now watching from the top of the building how meta kids were getting rescued by the police after they took down the trafficking centre.

"Guys. Thanks for your help but I still have another appointment." -Dick told the redheads and said his goodbyes but was stopped by Red Arrow.

"Do you mind if we talk in private?" -Will told his brothers who nodded and left the rooftop.

"What is it? I enjoy the security gig, but I don't think it's for me but I'm always happy to help if you need me." -Will put his hand in Dick's shoulder.

"Thanks, but that's not it."

"Then what?"

"You know what! You are not just dropping the ball with the kids…"

"Look Will I…"

"No Dick. You need to make this right too. You were heading to her home, right?" -Dick nodded.

"How long it has been since you two broke up? 3-4 years?"

"4 years, 4 months and 16 days."

"See! You miss her like hell."

"Even if I do…I don't know what to do."

"Dick, you need to tell her how you feel. Although it's pretty obvious for anyone that sees you two together."

"Hey! I'm not that obvious…"

"As the immortal words of Wally West: Dude! Monkey most love you because you are bananas if you think you are not obvious." -Will did his best to mimic Wally's voice which ending in the two old friends burst in laughter.

"Men! Wally was so mad when Zee and I broke up."

"Dick. I was looking for Roy and dating Cheshire and even I knew that it was a mistake. You two love each other so much…"

"Not being with her is my biggest regret and fuck up."

"That's something you can change if you are brave enough and I know you are."

"I don't even know if she still likes me. Maybe she already moved on."

"Dick. She's almost as obvious as you are. I mean every time she sees you, she always bites her lip and does anything to get your attention. Although she doesn't need it since you are always checking her up."

"Hey!"

"It's your fault for being too damn obvious. Dick, give yourself a chance to be happy, you deserve it. Wally would agree with me." -Will puts his hands on Dick's shoulder and shortly after embracing him in a tight hug.

"Thanks. You are right. I make things right."

"I'm always right."

"Please Daddy! This isn't fair. It's not enough time!" -Zee was breaking up seeing how her once a year was ending.

"I know Zatanna but if we do not follow to the letter the agreement…Nabu would not give us another opportunity. I love you Zatanna and I see you next year." -Zatara put the helmet of Fate and vanished with his ankh.

"No. No. No."

"Shh. It's going to be alright." -Artemis hugged her friend trying to comfort her but she knew the only one capable of doing that it was Dick.

"Will it?" -After a few more moment weeping for her father, Zatanna started to get back up.

"Thanks for coming along."

"I will always be by your side Zee. Are you seeing him today?"

"Yeah. You know that he keeps his promises…"

"I know. He was so mad and sad about not being here with you. But he had to help Will with some gig but frankly I know he was looking for his advice…"

"For what? To help her, the king, and the doctor?"

"That and among other things."

"What other things?" -Curiosity got the best of Zee.

"I don't know maybe he's having a guys talk with Will about how to get his' ex back." -They both exploded in laughter thinking what can of advice he will be getting from the Harpers.

"I don't think we are getting back together." -Sadness hit the magician once again.

"Why would you say that?"

"He likely already moved on."

"Are you shitting me?! Dick is heels over head for you! Heck, he keeps getting worse by the minute." -Zee blushed but could believe her friend's words.

"Wha-what makes you say that?"

"Are you serious? Damn! You are as dumb as he is. No wonder why you are so great together. Zee, every time you get into a room, he stops doing whatever he's doing to go and talk with you. Just like the day you entered the cave. He stops mission briefing just to talk with you even for a moment." -The sorceress was trying to remember all the occasions he did that and got flustered realizing how many they were.

"He can't keep his eyes off you. I can see the love and lust in his eyes and you are not better either…Miss swaying hips when Dick is close or how you move your hair gracefully when he's close to you."

"Hey! I'm not that obvious. Besides, he hasn't made a move or anything…maybe it's just the way we are…"

"Zee. No one flirts as much as you two do without being in love with the other. At the end of the day…man are cowards, and you need to do the first move. I love you Zatanna and I want to see you happy. Don't you think it's about time for you two?" -Artemis was holding her friend's hands giving a reassuring look to go for broke.

"Teg Aremac Ydaer!" -Zatanna was getting ready to confront the man who sweeps her feet away as she was waiting for him in his apartment as he promises to visit her. She didn't have to wait long as she heard a knocking on the door and there he was with his goofy and nervous smile holding a bouquet of asters.

"Hi. I got you this." -Zee throws herself to his arms not caring much about anything else.

"Thank you. It means a lot to me that you came today." -He entered her apartment awkwardly as she was still clinging to him.

"Are you kidding? I'm sorry for not being there with you. I got caught of with something…I needed to do a solid for Will and I…" -She out her finger in his lips.

"All that matters is that you are here now." -A comfortable silence wrapped them as they keep staring at each other's eyes.

"Look-"-The spoke at the same time.

"You go first-"-And it happened again.

"Sorry." -And again, but this time they were laughing, and she made a signal for him to go first, and he was relieve as he was afraid of losing his nerve.

"I was talking with Will and help me to get my mind back in the game. I've been avoiding this…I've been avoiding my feelings…and what I'm trying to say is…" -Dick got interrupted as she crashed her lips on his'.

"You were taking so long…that wasn't very Chalant of you." -That smile turns him into a puddle

"Do you…?"

"What do you think detective? Haven't you picked up all the clues? Or do I need to leave more-" -Now he was claiming her lips as his'. He put his hand on her tights carrying her and she wrapped her legs in his waist.

"I take that you did your part. I spotted Dick getting flowers for her on my way home."

"I did. How did it go on your end?" -Will and Artemis were talking in their kitchen.

"It went well. I think they are finally getting back together."

"I hope so. Could you believe that Grayson didn't see all the signals from her?"

"Detective my ass. But Zatanna wasn't much better either."

"I guess pot dates the kettle…"

"Don't tell me about."

"But I swear if they are not together by the end of the night, I'm showing my whole quiver down their…"

"Aunty Mouse!" -Liam approached the adults.

"Hi baby girl." -Artemis puts her niece on her lap.

"Liam! What are you doing awake at this time?"

"I wanted Aunty Mouse to read me a story." -She puts her best puppy eyes.

"Of course."

"Wait. Is it true?" -The adults were lost.

"What?"

"Are aunty Zee and Uncle Dick finally getting together?"

"What do you know about that?"

"Well. Aunty Z is always looking at him, the way you look at mommy and she's always extra happy when he's near…" -They were obvious even for Liam.

"And uncle Dick gets all giddy and nervous when she's around and don't get his eyes off her. They are so cute together…"

"Yes, yes they are."

"And they can give me a cousin to play with!"

"You are really smart Liam." -The girl put a proud smile.

"Aunty Mouse?"

"Yes?"

"Can I help shove your quiver to them if they don't get back together?" -Will sends an angry look to Artemis.

"Look at the time. It is way past your bedtime, let me get you tucked in. 'Night Will." -Artemis sprinted out of the kitchen with Liam in her arms.
