Yuya and Reiji both took their places opposite of each other with their fighting spirit ignited. "I have studied your Dueling and have created the cards to combat anything you can throw at me!" Reiji inserted his deck into his Duel Disk.
Yuya inserted his deck into his Duel Disk. "I won't lose to someone who treats us like his puppets! And on my pride as the Founder of Pendulum, I'll defeat you!"
Reiji activated his Leo Corporation Duel Disk and his red blade appeared while Yuya activated his Kaiba Corporation Duel Disk and his yellow blade appeared.
"This Duel will be perfect to test one of the weapons of the Lancers." Reiji said. "Action Field, on! Field Magic: Dimension Gates!"
The Real Solid Vision Machine activated, and six gates appeared. Two appeared behind, Reiji, two behind Yuya, and two on the other side and they all had names etched over them.
"Pendulum." Yuzu read one.
"Xyz." Ruri read.
"Synchro." Rin read.
"Fusion." Serena read.
"Ritual." Gongenzaka read.
"Dimension, right?" Sawatari was confused by the last one.
"What is this?" Yuya looked at the gates.
"This is the weapon I have developed for the Lancers. It will bring out the maximum potential of all the summon methods." Reiji explained. "I will explain the gates now."
"First, the Pendulum Gate. By opening this gate, you are allowed to add two Pendulum Cards from your deck to your hand."
"Second, the Fusion Gate. Opening this gate will allow you to Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck using monsters in your hand or field without the need for a Fusion Card.
"Third, the Synchro Gate. Opening this gate will allow you to target a monster on your field and treat is as a Tuner Monster until the end of your turn."
"Fourth, the Xyz Gate. This gate will allow you to target a monster on your field, and the levels of all monsters that you have on your field become the same as that monster until the end of your turn."
"Fifth, the Ritual Gate. This will allow you to add both a Ritual Monster and a Ritual Magic Card from your deck to your hand.
"And the last one, the Dimension Gate. This gate allows you to Normal Summon high level monsters without any releases. A Dimension Summon."
"Dimension Summon…" Yuya repeated.
"However, there is a price to pay. You have to pay 1000 Life Points to use either of these effects." Reiji revealed.
"So basically, this Field Magic will allow me to use all the summon methods easily. But I can't just rely on it. I have to use it wisely." Yuya thought.
"Now then." Reiji fixed his glasses. "Shall we begin?"
"Yeah." Yuya nodded.
"Duel!" Yuya and Reiji declared.

"I'll go first! My turn!" Yuya put his fingers on his deck but his arm started to shake. "Argh…" Yuya winced. He was still feeling pain from his Duel with Marik. "You have to endure it."
"Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "Using the Scale 4 Fusion Magician and the Scale 8 Synthesis Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya set his scale. Synthesis Magician appeared along with a female magician with indigo hair and green eyes with a staff with the symbol of Fusion on it.
"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 5 to 7! Swing, pendulum of the soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear, my comrades!" The pendulum swung back and forth and created a portal and three monsters appeared.
"Stargazer Magician (DEF: 2400, LV: 5, PS: 1)! Odd-Eyes Mammoth (DEF: 2300, LV: 6, PS: 4)! And Barrier Magician (DEF: 3000, LV: 7)!" Yuya summoned three monsters.
"A Pendulum Summon from the get go with high defense." Dennis watched. "Looks like Yuya is cautious of Reiji Akaba."
"I end my turn." Yuya finished.

"My turn! Using the Scale 2 DD Magical Savant Schrodinger and the Scale 8 DD Magical Savant Dirac, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Reiji set his scale.
"He's also starting with Pendulum!" Dennis was surprised.
"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 3 to 7! Grand power that shakes my very soul, arise within me and become a new light that rends the darkness. Pendulum Summon! Come before me, my monsters!" Four lights shot out of the portal.
"Tuner Monster, DD Night Howling (ATK: 300, LV: 3)! Two copies of DD Magical Savant Nikola (ATK: 2000, LV: 6, PS: 8)! And DD Vice Typhon (2300, LV: 7)!" Reiji summoned his giant mouth fiend Tuner along with two magical savants and a viper, male Medusa to the field.
"Four monsters at once!" Serena's eyes widened.
"It's fine! Yuya's monsters have stronger Defenses!" Sawatari pointed out.
"No, he's just getting started." Yuzu knew what was coming.
"Behold, Yuya! This is my Dueling! I Overlay my two Level 6 DD Magical Savant Nikola!" The two monsters turned into purple lights and entered the spacelike portal in the sky.
"Through numerous battles, you have now obtained the power to rule all of the seas! Evolve King of the Waves and drag the land into the depths of the ocean! Xyz Summon! Be born, DDD Wave High King Executive Caesar (ATK: 2800, RNK: 6, OVU: 2)!" A more powerful version of Caesar appeared.
"That's!" Ruri's eyes widened.
"Continuing, I'm Tuning my Level 7 DD Vice Typhon with my Level 3 DD Night Howling!" Night Howling!" Night Howling turned into three green rings and Vice Typhon went through them and became seven stars.
"Hurricanes that destroy everything in their path! Take their power and evolve, King of the Gales! Synchro Summon! Be born! DDD Gust High King Executive Alexander (ATK: 3000, LV: 7)!" A more powerful version of Alexander appeared.
"They're more powerful than before!" Rin exclaimed.
"Now, I activate the effect of Vice Typhon in my Graveyard! By banishing this card along with Night Howling in my Graveyard, I can perform a Fusion Summon!" Both Night Howling and Vice Typhon entered the swirling vortex.
"Fiend with jaws of death! Poisonous fiend of the serpents! Become one and give the King of Raging Inferno more power! Fusion Summon! Be born! DDD D/D/D Flame High King Executive Temujin (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" A more powerful version of Temujin appeared.
"Those are more powerful than the monsters he used in the last Duel!" Gongenzaka said.
"I activate Executive Alexander's effect! When I control two or more DD monsters, his Attack Points are doubled!" Alexander gained more power.
Executive Alexander (ATK: 3000→6000)
"Now they're all stronger than Yuya's monsters!" Serena got worried.
"I activate Executive Temujin's effect! Until my next Standby Phase, for the number of DD monsters on my field other than this card, he negates the effects of an equal number of Magic and Trap cards on the opponent's field! I negate your two monsters' Pendulum Effects!" Temujin swung his blade and rings trapped both Fusion Magician and Synthesis Magician.
"You used Xyz Magician in your Duel with Valon and it helped you protect your Xyz Monster, so Fusion Magician must have a similar effect to Fusion Monsters." Reiji said. "And Synthesis Magician can either help you make an Xyz Summon, or change your opponent's monster's Levels to 5 or above to increase Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's Battle Damage effect."
Yuya clicked his tongue in frustration. "I've told you that I have the cards to counter anything you throw at me." Reiji smiled.
"Battle! Executive Alexander, attack Barrier Magician!" Alexander created a massive whirlwind that knocked Barrier Magician away and destroyed it.
"Now! Executive Caesar, attack Odd-Eyes Mammoth!" Caesar slammed his sword into the ground and created a torrent of water that drowned the poor mammoth.
"And now, Executive Temujin! Destroy Stargazer Magician!" Temujin did a spin attack with his sword that sliced through Stargazer Magician's staff and destroyed him. However, Yuya was unfazed.
"I end my turn." Reiji smiled. "If I had to guess, you already saw this development coming. This is where the real match begins. That's what you're probably thinking, right?" Yuya narrowed his eyes.
"You've already showed me the power that lies beyond the Pendulum. So, use it on me! That new power you've managed to obtain." Reiji ordered.
"Is that all I am to you? Just an object to analyze?" Yuya asked. "And what about the rest of us? Are we just tools to you? Tools to satisfy your own goals? I guess what they say is true. Like father, like son. You're both despicable."
"And what about you? Do you want to protect Yuzu Hiiragi, Noboru Gongenzaka and this city? Do you really want to help the Kurosaki siblings get their home back? To change Academia back to normal for Serena and Dennis? Or do you only care about avenging your brothers?" Reiji asked.
"They're not gone." Yuya said.
"What?" Reiji asked.
"They're here." Yuya put his hand on his heart. "Yuto was there to help me when I faced Shun the first time. Yugo taught me to ride that motorcycle against Valon and helped me in that Riding Duel. And Yuri gave me the power to defeat Kachidoki. Right now, you're not fighting just me You're fighting…"
"All of us!" Yuya, Yuto, Yugo and Yuri shouted together.
"Yuto." Shun uttered.
"Yugo." Rin closed her eyes.
"Yuri." Dennis clenched his fist.
"Together, we will end this war! I'll prove that now! My turn!"

"Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "I activate the Magic Card: Scale Up! This allows me to increase a Pendulum Monster's Scale by 2! I raise Synthesis Magician's Scale to 10!"

"Now I summon Dice Magician (ATK: 1900, LV: 4, PS: 2)!" Yuya's gamble magician appeared.
"Dice Magician! Dice Roll!" Gamble Magician tossed her die in the air and it enlarged itself. It rolled on the field before landing on five.
"It landed on five, therefore, I can draw five cards from my deck!" Yuya drew five more cards.
"With my current scale, Pendulum Summon! Revive from the Extra Deck! Stargazer Magician (DEF: 2400, LV: 5, PS: 1), Odd-Eyes Mammoth (DEF: 2300, LV: 6, PS: 4)! And from my hand, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)! And Odd-Eyes Dissolver (ATK: 2000, LV: 8, PS: 4)!"
Yuya summoned back his previous monsters and brought out his ace monster as well as a magician with dark armor blue hair and a staff.
"I activate Odd-Eyes Dissolver's effect! I can perform a Fusion Summon using this monster as well as a Pendulum Monster in my Pendulum Zone as Fusion Materials! I fuse Odd-Eyes Dissolver with Fusion Magician!"
Both Dissolver and Fusion Magician entered the swirling vortex. "Dichromatic eyes that illuminate the dark night! Become one with the master of fusion and give birth to the dragon of hell! Fusion Summon! Appear! Poisonous dragon with hungry fangs! Level 8! Starve Venom Fusion Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" Yuya summoned Yuri's dragon.
"That's Yuri's Dragon!" Dennis smiled.
"Next, by reducing Odd-Eyes' Pendulum Dragon's Level by 3, I Special Summon the Tuner Monster, Nobledragon Magician (ATK: 700, LV: 3, PS: 5)!" Yuya summoned his small Tuner Magician.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (LV: 7→4)
"Now, I'm Tuning my now Level 4 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with my Level 3 Nobledragon Magician!" Nobledragon Magician turned into three rings and Odd-Eyes flew through them and became four stars.
"Spread those wondrous and beautiful wings, and strike down your enemies at the speed of light! Synchro Summon! Appear now! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7)!" Yuya summoned Yugo's dragon.
"Now, it's Yugo's dragon!" Rin cheered.
"I activate Stargazer Magician's effect! When a Pendulum Monster leaves the field, I can Special Summon it back! Return, Odd-Eyes!" Stargazer used his magic to open a portal.
"I won't let you!" Reiji shouted. "I activate Executive Caesar's effect! During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that would Special Summon a monster, by using one Overlay Unit, that effect is negated and this card gains Attack Points equal to the Attack Points of the monster who's Special Summon is negated until the end of the turn!" Reiji revealed.
"What?!" Yuya gasped.
"Executive Caesar gains Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's Attack Points!" Reiji said.

"And by using another Overlay Unit, I can target a DD monster on my field and have it gain the same amount of Attack Points until the end of the turn! I choose Executive Temujin!"

"A monster with 6000 Attack Points and two with 5300 Attack Points!" Sawatari was in shock. "I knew the President was strong, but this is OP strong!"
"In that case, I activate the Magic Card: Scale Xyz! This card allows me to perform an Xyz Summon using monsters on the field and in the Pendulum Zone! With the Level 4 Dice Magician and Synthesis Magician, I construct the Overlay Network!" The two monsters turned into purple lights and entered the spacelike portal in the ground.
"Formed from pitch-black darkness, to fight those foolish enough to oppose it with its treacherous fangs! Now, descend! Xyz Summon! Appear now! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (ATK: 2500, RNK: 4, OVU: 2)!" Yuya summoned Yuto's Dragon.
"Yuto's Dragon…" Shun smiled.
"Impressive. You managed to summon three of the Four-Dimensional Dragons. Had I not stopped Odd-Eyes resurrection, I would be in trouble." Reiji smiled.
"Dimensional Dragons?" Gongenzaka asked.
"According to the notes that my father has left behind, Starve Venom, Clear Wing and Dark Rebellion are the strongest dragons of their respective Summon Methods. Together with the now Pendulum Odd-Eyes, they are the Four-Dimensional Dragons, the biggest threat against my father. The perfect weapons to use against him."
"These dragons aren't weapons! They're my friends, no, they're my family!" Yuya shouted. "They represent my brothers, who gave me a chance to live!"
"I activate Starve Venom Fusion Dragon's effect! When this card is Fusion Summoned using only monsters on the field, it gains the Attack Points of all Special Summoned monsters on my opponent's field until the end of the turn!" Starve Venom roared as he gained power.

"Also, Starve Venom can negate a Level 5 or higher monster's effect and use it as its own! I target Executive Alexander and use its effect! When there are two DD monsters, its Attack Points are doubled! And since its effect was taken, Executive Alexander's Attack Points return to normal!"

"38800 Attack Points?! That monster was already strong enough to win the Duel, so why?" Dennis wondered.
"Yuya isn't taking any chances with Reiji." Yuzu watched Yuya. "He has to use everything in his power to win against an opponent that has studied him."
"Now, I activate Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, I can target one Level 5 or higher monster on the field and reduce its Attack Points in half, while Dark Rebellions gains that same amount! Treason Discharge!" Dark Rebellion unleashed electricity at Executive Temujin, weakening him.

"I'll use another Overlay Unit! Treason Discharge!" Dark Rebellion gained more power while Temujin got weaker.

"Now all of darling's dragons can attack!" Mieru smiled.
"Battle! Starve Venom Fusion Dragon, attack Executive Caesar! Acid Venomous Blast!" Starve Venom gathered power in its wings and it unleashed a poisonous attack towards Caesar!"
"If this goes through, Yuya wins!" Gongenzaka said.
"Naïve!" Reiji said. "I activate Schrödinger's Pendulum Effect! When I would take battle damage, I Special Summon this monster from my Pendulum Zone and reduce the damage to 0!"
Schrodinger (DEF: 2400, LV: 6, PS: 2)
Executive Caesar was destroyed but Reiji didn't take damage.
"He blocked the damage!" Dennis was surprised.
"Also, when Executive Caesar is sent from the field to the Graveyard, I can add 1 Contract card from my deck to my hand." Reiji added a card to his hand.
"In that case, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, attack Executive Alexander! Revolt of the Lightning, Disobey!" Dark Rebellion charged and thrust its fangs into Alexander.
"Schrodinger's effect activates! Once per turn, I can reduce battle damage to 0!" Alexander was destroyed but Reiji still didn't take damage.
"It has the same effect as its Pendulum!" Sawatari was surprised.
"But now you can't block the damage anymore! Go! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, attack Executive Temujin! Whirlwind Hell Dive Slasher!" Clear Wing encased itself in wind and struck Temujin down and Reiji finally took damage.

"Alright, he finally damaged him!" Ruri cheered.
"So, this is the power of a Dragon Soldier." Reiji fixed his glasses. "It's clear that the bond with your brothers has allowed you to Fusion, Synchro and Xyz from Pendulum. But bonds alone are not enough to win a Duel!"
"The Lancers are a combat unit created to fight against Academia. You need to learn that over-optimistic fluff in a real battle could cost you your life!" Reiji lectured.
"I have no intention of holding back in a Duel!" Yuya narrowed his eyes. "But I'm not gonna betray my beliefs and be a mindless soldier. My Dueling gave me an identity of my own! An identity independent from my father, independent from my brothers…I'm human, not your puppet!"
"I set one card and end my turn!" Yuya finished. "At this moment, Starve Venom and Dark Rebellion's effect ends and their Attack Points return to normal.

Himika and Reira were coming up to the control room as Reira held the championship trophy in his hands with Himika proud that everything was going according to plan.
But when the lift stopped, she saw Reiji and Yuya Dueling and that Yuya was currently in the lead. "What is going on? Why is Reiji Dueling Yuya Sakaki?" Himika asked.
"The President explained the situation of the Battle Royal to the surviving participants. Not satisfied with the answer, Yuya Sakaki challenged the President to a Duel with the leadership of the Lancers at stake." Nakajima explained.
"What?! Why would Reiji do that? I already told him to not include Yuya Sakaki in the Lancers!" Himika was shocked that Reiji ignored her.
"When the Battle Royal concluded, Marik Ishtar, the leader of the Ghouls handed him the God Card, The Sky Dragon of Osiris, which Yuya Sakaki used as material to create a Fusion-Pendulum monster." Nakajima answered. "And now, the President is fighting to put that power under his control."
"A God Card…that would help us, but…can Reiji control that monster?" Himika looked at Yuya.
"Are you referring to Osiris or Yuya Sakaki?" Nakajima asked.
"Who do you think?!" Himika shouted in anger. "Yuya Sakaki is more than likely to fight us than the enemy!"

"My turn! Draw!" Reiji drew his card. "I set one card and activate the Continuous Magic: Contract with the Loan Shark! This card allows me to draw until I have six cards in my hand, but during my Standby Phase, I take 1000 points of damage!" Reiji drew his cards.
"Next, I activate my Magic Card: DD Pendulum Burst! I destroy all DD Pendulum cards on my field and draw 2 more cards!" Schrodinger and Dirac where destroyed and Reiji drew two more cards.
"An 8 card draw…" Yuya prepared himself.
"Here I come, Yuya! Using the Scale 1 DD Magical Savant Copernicus and the Scale 10 DD Magical Savant Newton, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Reiji set his scale.
"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 2 to 9! Grand power that shakes my very soul, arise within me and become a new light that rends the darkness. Pendulum Summon! Come before me, my monsters!" Three familiar monsters appeared.
"The three transcendental deities who rule over all kings. DDD Great Death Lord - Hell Armageddon (ATK: 3000, LV: 8, PS: 4)!" Reiji summoned the three monsters that cornered Yuya in their last Duel.
"Now, I activate the Trap Card I set earlier!" Reiji declared.
"What?! A Trap that can activated the same turn it was set!" Yuya's eyes widened.
"If I have a DDD Pendulum Monster on my field, I can activate it on the turn it was set! Trap Card: Compensation! By destroying one Contract card on my field, I can add a Magic Card from my deck to my hand!" Reiji added a Magic Card to his hand.
"Your Duel with the Atlantis Duelist Valon, along with Marik Ishtar became the foundations for the monsters I am going to bring out! My strongest portfolio!" Reiji smiled. "I activate the Magic Card: DDD Fusion!"
"This card allows me to Fusion Summon one DDD monster from my Extra Deck, using monsters on the field or in my hand. And if one of the materials is Hell Armageddon, this card can be used as a substitute material!"
Deity that rules over all kings! Take the power of Fusion to its maximum and become a king over Death itself! Fusion Summon! Be born! Level 10! DDD Super Death Great King Purplish Hell Armageddon (ATK: 3500, LV: 10, PS: 1)!" Reiji summoned a purple Armageddon with a dragon appearance.
"Next, I activate the Magic Card: DDD Synchro! I can treat this card as a Level 2 Tuner Monster. I'm Tuning my Level 8 Hell Armageddon with my Level 2 DDD Synchro!" The card turned into two green rings while Hell Armageddon went through it and became eight stars.
"Deity that rules over all kings! Take the power of Synchro to the maximum and become a king over Death itself! Synchro Summon! Be born! Level 10! DDD Super Death Great King Whitest Hell Armageddon (ATK: 3500, LV: 10, PS: 1)!" A white Armageddon with the appearance of a robot appeared.
"And now the Magic Card: DDD Xyz! I Special Summon the two Hell Armageddons from my Extra Deck and using them along with the last one on the field, I build the Overlay Network!" The three Armageddons turned into purple lights and flew into the spacelike portal.
"Deity that rules over all kings! Take the power of Xyz to the maximum and become a king over Death itself! Xyz Summon! Be born! Rank 8! DDD Super Death Great King Darkness Hell Armageddon (ATK: 3500, RNK: 8, PS: 1, OVU: 3)!" Appearing was a black and green Armageddon.
"A Fusion-Pendulum, Synchro-Pendulum and Xyz-Pendulum monster." Yuya's eyes widened. He had only just created Xyz-Pendulum and Fusion-Pendulum monsters. But Reiji went further and created a Synchro-Pendulum monster.
"You may have created Pendulum, but I have brought it to the maximum with the other methods!" Reiji declared. "I activate Whitest Hell Armageddon's effect! You must select one Pendulum monster on the field!"
"Stargazer and Mammoth are the only Pendulum monsters on the field…" Yuya said.
"Now, choose." Reiji said.
"I…choose Stargazer Magician." Yuya said.
"Then, Whitest Hell Armageddon negates the effects of your other monsters!" Whitest Hell Armageddon fired yellow arrows that negated Starve Venom, Clear Wing, Dark Rebellion and Odd-Eyes Mammoth's effects.
"And now I activate Darkness Hell Armageddon's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, I can destroy as many non-Pendulum Monsters on your field as there are Pendulum Monsters on my field! I destroy Starve Venom, Clear Wing and Dark Rebellion!"
"No!" Yuya cried as the dragons were sucked into a portal and were destroyed.
"Finally, I activate Purplish Hell Armageddon's effect! I select one monster my opponent controls are destroy it and inflict damage to the opponent equal to the destroyed monster's Attack Points! I destroy Mammoth!" The dragon on the purple Armageddon blew a flame that burned Mammoth and Yuya was knocked back.

"Yuya!" Yuzu, Ruri, Rin and Serena shouted in worry. Yuya quickly recovered and fell to his knee.
"Battle! Darkness Hell Armageddon, attack Stargazer Magician!" Hell Armageddon fired an attack at Stargazer.
"Counter Trap: Attack Nullification! This negates your attack and ends the Battle Phase!" The attack was absorbed and Stargazer Magician was spared.
"I end my turn." Reiji finished.

"Let me tell you something." Reiji spoke. "Whitest Hell Armageddon will force you to select one Pendulum monster to keep their effects every time you Normal Summon or Special Summon."
"Darkness Hell Armageddon protects my Pendulum monsters from being destroyed by card effects and Purplish Hell Armageddon protects my Pendulum monsters from being destroyed by battle." Reiji revealed his other monsters' effects.
"So, only effects of Pendulum monsters are allowed." Dennis said.
"And only one is allowed to have it, while the others are negated." Shun narrowed his eyes.
"I'm sorry, Yuto, Yugo, Yuri. I let your dragons get destroyed so easily." Yuya apologized.
"It was out of your hands, don't blame yourself." Yuto assured him.
"But this is a surprise, to think he brought out hybrids of his monsters already." Yugo said.
"Are you gonna give up?" Yuri asked, even though he and the others already knew the answer.
"Of course, not." Yuya put his hand on his heart. "Embrace your dreams. And whatever happens…"
"Protect your honor as a Duelist." Yuto, Yugo and Yuri finished and disappeared.
At the same time, Odd-Eyes, Dark Rebellion, Clear Wing and Starve Venom were having a conversation of their own.
"Guess it's not our time to shine yet." Starve Venom said and disappeared.
"Nope, because this is our little brother's battlefield." Clear Wing smiled and vanished.
"You can do it, Odd-Eyes. If you and Yuya can resonate with each other, you can defeat those monstrosities." Dark Rebellion motivated before going away.
"That's right. I'm the first Pendulum Monster! I won't lose to a bunch of cheap knock-offs!" Odd-Eyes pumped himself up.
"Odd-Eyes?" Yuya perked up.
"Yuya? Wait, can you hear me?" Odd-Eyes asked.
"Looks like you two can finally communicate with each other." Odd-Eyes Yuya appeared between them.
"Huh? Hey, aren't you…?" Odd-Eyes saw Odd-Eyes Yuya.
"Not yet, Odd-Eyes." Odd-Eyes Yuya made a shush gesture. "Right now, you have a Duel to win."
"That's right, no way am I gonna lose to those guys!" Odd-Eyes declared.
"And I won't lose to someone who sees people as tools!" Yuya declared.
"Then what are you two waiting for, show him your power." Odd-Eyes Yuya smiled.
Yuya laughed getting Reiji's attention and confusing everyone. "The ultimate portfolio…looks like I'm backed against the wall."
"That's why…" Yuya opened his eyes and his left eye was green. "The counterattack starts now!"
"Yuya!" Yuzu was happy that Yuya wasn't wavering against Reiji's lineup.
"That's the way, Yuya!" Gongenzaka smiled.
"You're my rival! So, don't you dare lose!" Sawatari declared.
"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "I activate Pot of Greed! I draw two cards!" Yuya drew two cards.
"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Hope of Pendulum! I return five Pendulum Cards from either my Graveyard or Extra Deck to my deck." From his Graveyard, Yuya got Synthesis Magician, Dice Magician and from his Extra Deck, Nobledragon Magician, Odd-Eyes Mammoth and Odd-Eyes Dissolver.
"Shuffle!" Yuya's deck shuffled for him. "And draw two cards!" Yuya drew two more cards. He saw one of them was Timegazer Magician and it glowed along with Stargazer Magician on his Duel Disk.
"Stargazer? Timegazer?" Yuya saw the two magicians looking at him and behind them was a silhouette of a new monster. He had his sword raised in the air and it released a symbol that was seen on a few Magic Cards.
"Sorry, Odd-Eyes, but you're gonna have to wait a little while longer." Yuya thought.
"That's fine, Yuya! Don't hesitate! Charge forward! I believe in you!" Odd-Eyes cheered for his friend.
"Reiji, I won't deny that your lineup is impressive. In fact, you've taken Pendulum to the next level! But you made one mistake!" Yuya said.
"What?" Reiji questioned.
"Boss told me that I should prepare for the day that Pendulum would be used against me. That is why, with my own hands, I'm destroying Pendulum!" Yuya declared.
"Destroying Pendulum?!" Yuzu exclaimed while the others were surprised.
"I summon Timegazer Magician (ATK: 1200, LV: 3, PS: 8)!" Yuya summoned his second Pendulum Magician.
"When you summon a monster, Whitest Hell Armageddon forced you to choose one Pendulum monster on your field to keep their effects!" Reiji declared.
"I choose Stargazer Magician." Yuya said as gold arrows hit Timegazer negated his effect.
"Next, I activate the Field Magic: Dimension Gate's effect! I pay 1000 Life Points…" Yuya grunted as he paid Life Points.
Yuya LP: 2100→1100
"Which one will darling choose?" Mieru wondered.
"Well, it can't be the Dimension Gate, since he already Normal Summoned." Sawatari said.
"He can use Pendulum Gate to add two Pendulum cards into his hand." Yuzu looked at the Pendulum Gate.
"Or he can use the Fusion Gate to fuse his magicians." Serena guessed.
"Or the Synchro Gate to change one of them to a Tuner Monster." Rin knew that Yuya had a Level 8 Synchro Monster.
"Or make their Levels the same with the Xyz Gate." Ruri wasn't sure if Yuya had a Rank 5 or Rank 3 monster, but he was always full of surprises.
"The gate I'm opening…is the Ritual Gate!" Yuya pointed and the Ritual Gate opened and his deck glowed.
"Ritual?!" Everyone was surprised, including Reiji.
"But the only Ritual Monster he has is Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon and it's effect will be instantly negated by my Whitest Hell Armageddon." Reiji thought.
"Due to Dimension Gate's effect, I add a Ritual Monster and a Ritual Magic Card from my deck to my hand." Yuya added the cards to his hand.
"Now, I activate the Ritual Magic: Chaos Advent!" Yuya played the card.
"Chaos Advent?!" Reiji's eyes widened. It wasn't Odd-Eyes Advent. An altar appeared in the center of the field.
"This card allows me to Ritual Summon a Spellcaster Ritual Monster from my hand or Graveyard, using Pendulum monsters as the releases! I release Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician!"
Both magicians nodded at each other and stood on the altar and the flames danced around the altar danced around them and they both disappeared and a magic circle appeared above the field.
"Hero's blade bathed in chaos! Come before us and bring back balance to the world! Ritual Summon! Descend! Level 8! Magical Swordsman of Sealing! Chaos Paladin (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Appearing was a magician in blue and black armor, black spiky hair and a two-handed sword bathed in chaos energy.
"It's useless! Whitest Hell Armageddon negates the effects of non-Pendulum monsters on the field!" Whitest Hell Armageddon unleashed gold arrows on Chaos Paladin.
However, Chaos Paladin swung his heavy sword and created an arc that not only disintegrated the arrows but it also cut Purplish, Whitest and Darkness Hell Armageddon!
"What is it?!" Reiji was surprised.
"When Chaos Paladin is summoned using only Spellcaster-type Pendulum Monsters, it negates the effects of all Pendulum monsters on the field!" Yuya revealed. "Also, they lose 100 Attack Points times their Level or Rank!"
Purplish Hell Armageddon (ATK: 3500→2500)
Whitest Hell Armageddon (ATK: 3500→2500)
Darkness Hell Armageddon (ATK: 3500→2700)
"Also, Chaos Paladin can attack all monsters on the field this turn! Go! Chaos Paladin! Attack Purplish, Whitest and Darkness Hell Armageddon! Chaos Trinity!" Chaos Paladin swung his heavy sword at the speed of light creating a triangle that destroyed the three Armageddon's and damaged Reiji.

"I have destroyed Pendulum…" Yuya said grimly.
And we will stop right here, because Yu-Gi-Oh isn't Yu-Gi-Oh without cliffhangers.
