Later that night, Maria can't sleep well. She looked at her clock.

9:47, I really need to go to bed! She thought.

She then hugged her pillow tightly. She doesn't know what to say to Arthur. She rubbed her head.

Uhmm… I can't just say, "I love you too!" She thought. I know I had a crush on him, but… I can't just say it. My mind says yes to him, but my heart is telling me no. I also loved Kiku, and it might ruin our friendship. I just can't do it!

Meanwhile, on Kiku's place. Kiku was drinking tea, he still can't take the image off of his mind.

I wanna transfer to another school… He thought. What am I going to say to Maria tomorrow? I can't just say, "I saw you in the garden, yesterday." He added. He sips his tea and sigh. He looked at his art, a picture of him and Maria. I really want to give this to Maria, but I think she confessed her love for Arthur. I know that the two are so close, and besides, the two look so perfect together. Even Lili and Elizabeta would agree. After a few minutes, he cleaned his table and went to bed.

-THE NEXT DAY-

Maria and Lili were walking together, along the corridor and took a peek at the school bulletin. They looked at the events for the month of February.

"Maria, look at this. The teacher said they'll post the art of our class and with the letters!" Lili exclaimed as she points her finger towards the event on the 14th day.

"Really? That's nice! Have you finished your letter Lili?" Maria asked.

"Yes, and I decorated it with a lot of animal stickers my brother made." Lili answered.

"That's sweet! I bet your brother will like it!" Maria said.

"I hope so too!" Lili said.

While talking about their letters, Natalia approached the two.

"Hey girls, what is your topic about?" Natalia asked the two.

"Hm? Hey Natalia, good morning! Our topic was about the letters that will be coming along with the art." Maria said as she turned around.

"Have you finished yours Natalia?" Lili asked.

"Yes and I didn't bug my brother about marrying me again!" Natalia said and then smiled.

"I bet Ivan will be surprised! You've changed a lot!" Maria said.

The three giggled and then Francis approached them.

"Ohonhonhon~ what are you three beauties talking about?" Francis asked.

"Nothing Francis." Lili answered.

"Is that so mon ami. Well then , I bade the three of you au revoir." Francis said and left.

After a while, the bell rang announcing the first period of class.

The three did not know that Kiku was just watching them from afar. Kiku was watching over Maria.

She's still beautiful even from afar… Kiku thought.

"I know you love Maria." Someone said from his behind. Kiku was shock that he turned around and saw Matthew looking at him in the eye. Kiku jumped out of shock.

"M-Matthew! What are you doing here?" Kiku asked.

"Stalking," Matthew answered.

"Are you serious?" Kiku asked.

"Of course not. Kiku Maria still hasn't confessed to Arthur yet. You still have your chance!" Matthew said shaking Kiku.

"Really? She hasn't?" Kiku said in a surprised tone.

"Yes! Now, please tell her you love her?" Matthew said.

"But. She might say no. Wait... How did you know that Maria didn't say "yes" yet?" Kiku asked.

"Well, I was in-charge of the gardening club and while taking off the weeds.. I accidentally, heard Maria and Arthur's conversation." Matthew said as he was remembering what happened.

"Is that so." Kiku said.

"It's your chance Kiku. Confess to her." Matthew said.

Kiku was deep in thought that he didn't notice Matthew going to the classroom.

"Okay, Matt. I'm-" Kiku said as he turned to Matthew,but Matthew is not there anymore.

He just sigh and went to the classroom.

-TIME SKIP-

After class, it was snack time. Kiku is still afraid of confessing.

What if she would say no? Kiku thought.

No, Kiku. No negative thoughts! You can do this.

He then approached Maria. Maria was with Lili and Elizabeta.

"Maria. Can I talk to you?" Kiku asked.

"Of course you can, Kiku. What is it about?" Maria asked.

"Privately, if you please." Kiku said as his cheeks turned pink.

"Okay then. Let's go to the music room." Maria said as she pulled Kiku's hand and they left.

"I bet Kiku will confess." Lili said to Elizabeta."

"Yeah! I also think too. They're so sweet together."Elizabeta said and both squealed.

The two did not know but, Arthur heard everything they said.

So, Kiku will confess? I wonder who will be the one Maria would say "yes'... Arthur thought
