Hello again! I am sorry for not updating. I just have three major projects I am working on right now, and daily homework, and I have to prepare for a bunch of tests coming up. So, I'm sorry for not updating. Buy anyway I hope that you like my story! Here is the next chapter! I hope you like it!

"Oh Bruce." Tony said as he looked at his broken friend

"You didn't do that. You would never do that." Tony said, taking a step towards him

Bruce pushed himself backwards, away from Tony and the others

"Bruce." Natasha said, stepping forward and reaching out to him

"Please Natasaha." Bruce said as he backed up more "S-stay away from me. I'm a m-monster."

"Bruce." Tony whispered

"Go Tony, please." Bruce said, looking away from them "I d-don't want to h-hurt you."

"Bruce" Natasha said again

"Go." Bruce interrupted, still looking away from them, and closing his eyes as tears slid down his face "Please just...go..."

"Come on Tony." Steve said quietly, grabbing Tony's arm and they all slowly left the room and then shut the door behind them

"Why. Why did it have to be him. Why not me." Tony said, squeezing his eyes shut

"Tony, don't say that. It shouldn't be you either." Steve said

"Yeah. It shouldn't have been anyone." Clint said

"But why did it have to be him of all the people in New York." Tony said, opening his eyes and glancing back at the door, and then looking down "He doesn't deserve this. He's already been through so much."

"Yes, but what's done is done." Thor said, stepping forward "We may not be able to change what has already happened, but we can change what will happen in our future."

"Yeah." Clint said in agreement, stepping out next to Thor "All we need to do is wait for him to fall asleep, get his blood, and then get a cure."

"Yeah but what if that happens again." Tony said, gesturing to the room where there were burn marks everywhere, and still a little smoke left "And what if it's worse. What if he runs away?"

"Then we'll find him Tony." Steve said, putting a comforting hand on Tony's shoulder "And we won't rest until we fix this."

"Yeah." Clint agreed

Tony closed his eyes "I just don't understand why everything bad has to happen to him." Tony said "He watched his mother get killed infront of him by his father, he had no friends in school until he met Elizabeth Ross, who's father later made him into the Hulk and then later tortured and experimented on him, and then he went on the run for years until he finally found a happy life in Calcutta, which had to get ruined by Loki and the tesseract. And now after finally making friends and settling a happy life here in New York, he just had to be one of the people that Aldrich Killian decided to insert Extremis into."

"Tony. It's okay. Just calm down okay?" Steve said in response

Tony breathed in and out "I know." He said, and squeezed his eyes a little "I just..."

"Yeah..." Steve agreed and then the sprinklers shut off

"Let's just get going." Clint said after a moment "The faster we leave, the faster we can get the rest of the cure thing ready, and the faster we can get Bruce's blood and make the cure and give it to him so we can fix this."

"Yeah." Steve agreed

"Okay." Tony said, then taking a breath in and opening his eyes "You're right. Let's go."

"Okay." Steve said and they all started to walk to the elevator

Clint turned to expect Natasha beside him but she wasn't. Then he stopped and turned around to see her still standing where she was before, looking back to the room that Bruce was in

"Natasha." Clint said and Natasha turned to him "Come on. Let's go."

"Right." Natasha said, glancing down and then looking back up "I'm coming."

"Do you think he'll be alright?" Tony asked Steve as they got into the elevator

"I'm sure he'll be fine." Steve replied as Thor, Clint, and Natasha stepped into the elevator

"You're sure." Tony asked again

"...I'm sure." Steve replied again, and then the elevator doors closed and then they started going down to the lab

A couple minutes later the elevator stopped and the doors opened and they all walked out into the lab

"Okay." Clint said after a few moments "Show us what you have so far."

"I researched and hacked into Killian's work again using Rhodey's password." Tony stated "And I figured out what it's made of and so I kind of have an idea of what chemicals and components to use for the cure thing."

"Where is Rhodey anyway?" Natasha asked

"He has stuff going on with the general since he saved the president." Tony stated

"Have you told him what happened." Steve asked

"...No, not yet." Tony said "But I will soon. He can probably help me with this."

"Yeah." Clint said

"I'll text him after we get Bruce's blood drawn." Tony stated

"Okay." Steve said

"Is Bruce asleep yet Jarvis?" Tony asked

"He is just getting to sleep sir." Jarvis stated

"Well, can you keep an eye on him for me. And if his temperature rises inform me and activate the sprinklers." Tony said

"Yes sir." Jarvis replied

"Okay...We'll get his blood in a few minutes." Tony said "Right now, let's analyze this data I got from him earlier and start working on the cure."

"First sir, I would recommend treating that burn on your hand better before it gets bad." Jarvis stated and then Tony looked at his hand which was wrapped up in bloody gauze and tape

"Oh yeah. Thanks Jarvis." Tony said
