The final battle was the closing curtain to her tumultuous high school life.
Now Yukine Chris embarks on a new chapter as a college student, away from everything, but not out of reach.

Chiba – Chiba University

The classroom was bustling with activity as students were packing their belongings, chatting with each other as the last hour of the day was over. Most, rejoicing in the awaited few days of not having to attend school for the rest of the week.

Among them, a student with silver-white hair doing the same, packing her belongings while paying minimal attention to her entourage.

"Chris-san, what did you plan for Golden Week?"

Yukine Chris didn't look at her female classmate, keeping her focus on packing the rest of her stuff and assuredly leaving nothing behind while issuing her answer. "I didn't really plan anything, certainly taking care of the homework and maybe relaxing, washing off the last remnant of my transition here."

A new voice surges from her respond. "What? Such a waste for someone as beautiful as you, Yukine-san. How about going on a date with me, then?"

Chris rolls her eyes at the invitation as she closes her bag and strapped it on her shoulder. "I wasn't interested the first week, neither the following and still not today... or ever for any matter. So, once again, drop it."

"You are so mean to me, Yukine-san." Her classmate expresses with a mock hurt expression.

"Stop it, Alan. You didn't even have a single chance with her, to begin with. Why do you even bother?" Another classmate joins in the conversation.

The man turns to his friend. "Not asking would be nothing but a sin, Maya," he explains, shaking in wonderment as to why he should elaborate the meaning of his actions regarding his pursuit.

The two soon begin to bicker with each other, allowing Chris to slip past them unnoticed not for the first time since being acquainted with the two. When she was out of the classroom, she was then joined by her female classmate, Shiyu.

"Are you really not planning anything for Golden Week, Chris-san?" Shiyu inquires.

Chris eyes the other girl briefly, then casts her attention back forward among the sea of the student walking in and out. "Truly, I have yet to fully be accustomed to my surrounding here. You guys kind of helped around the campus, but beyond…" She trails off. "So, really, I might as well take the long break to further familiarize myself around, beyond the closest grocery store that is." She adds with a rare smile at the end.

"Right, you did say that you were living in Tokyo and attending Lydian Academy," the girl pauses before asking what she had been curious about the silver-haired since knowing this information. "Since you were attending Lydian, does that mean you were one of them?"

Chris tilts her head to the side in confusion. "One of them?"

"Among the batch of students attending in the first building, and maybe witnessing what happened," Shiyu elaborates.

Chris adorns a look of understanding. "No. I started mid-semester, joining in mid-September as a second year. It was already the second building when I began attending."

Shiyu was the one confused now. "You changed school in the middle of the year? Where were you at, then?"

Chris' answer was swift and casual, her first month at Lydian recounting her made-up backstory coming into play. "I was homeschooled since young. It was only because of a sudden departure in my entourage, leaving me without a relative that I got the opportunity to attend school for the first time ever."

Their conversation brought them to the final gate of the Campus, the two stopping as they were living in opposite directions and Shiyu having another question on the tip of her tongue before letting go.

"I see. Then what about your friends, did you not plan to visit them during the break, or let them visit you?"

"I still want to find my marks around before contacting them. As for them visiting me… They would have to know where I am first. So, unless by a struck of luck, one of them happens to be in Chiba, and then, by an even greater struck of luck, run into me. Not happening." Chris smiles smugly.

Her friends let out a small chuckle, hearing the few time her friend talked about her friends from Tokyo, it would sound like Chris was glad to be away from them. And yet a smile would always be on her face when involved.

This conversation coming to an end, the two separate, bidding goodbye to each other as they turn their back to walk toward their respective home.

Chris' New Place

"I'm home," Chris says to no one as she closes the door entrance.

It certainly something that didn't change after moving out, coming home to an empty apartment. While on the other hand, she had fairly adjusted to college life, though, the boys' attention coming her way from being in a mixed school would be something she could pass on having.

Just for this specific matter, she misses the perk of being in an all-girls school.

But she did indeed adapt, adapted to have men in her vicinity daily, sitting at her side during lessons, them talking to her, dealing with them in general, notably many attempts to flirt with her. She was quite grateful to them in realizing how high she was rated in the eyes of her peer.

In the end, like for girls, there are good ones and bad ones. She already was accustomed to the worse kind of men during her lost childhood to the point that those virgin boys seeing her as nothing more than a cow with large udders and potentially a good lay was hardly an offense to her. Didn't mean that she doesn't consider them as scumbags and lesser men in her eyes.

After putting her jacket on the coatrack and taking off her shoes, she drops her key inside the bowl at the entrance, before taking a handful of darts beside it and throwing one across the living room at the opposite wall, the sound of hitting both the dartboard and the center echoing deliciously into her ears.

Chris repeats the motion as she set foot on the wooden floor and heads to the kitchen, school bag in hand, one dart flying with each step before dropping it on the counter.

The last dart was launched from behind after she turned to open the fridge, the item hitting the target echoing satisfyingly once more.

A quick look at the target to attest that she wasn't tricked by the sound she has grown accustomed to, that each item had reached the closest to the bullseye and Chris get down to the task of getting some snack and a drink. "Guess it's time to change the target's location." She mumbles to herself while picking her selection.

Her gathering of not-so-nutritious items spread on the table and herself sat on her couch, Chris pops open her can of soda before taking a first generous gulp. Her schoolbag was at her side to prevent a needless trip to the kitchen while she took in an appraisal look of her own apartment in her name.

Chris' new place was actually bigger than the last, the building was quite recent, a good location from any important service, notably the train station. The price, whereas high was still easily affordable with her saving reap from working with Section Two, named later S.O.N.G during her high school year. She initially planned to pay it herself but was beat to it by the old man, insisting on at least paying for the first year of the lease.

Though, despite all the good points, it was genuinely too big for one person. The living room was enormous to the point of struggling to fill it out, the bathroom possesses both a separate shower and a bathtub. Three bedrooms were available when one would have amply sufficed, but taking into account future guests, maybe it was needed.

Still, really big, to the point that she would truly feel alone if not distracted, followed by the depressing part of it from time to time.

"Well, better get going on the teachers' homework, freeing myself for the rest of this almost legendary five days break." She utters out loud, cutting in the natural silence of her place.

Indeed, she discovered from her classmates that a 5-day long break during Golden Week was quite rare, the last one occurring over 10 years ago. It would be in those moments that she would curse her lack of an ordinary childhood, that she would be foreign to common ideas and most rarely common sense.

Putting this thought aside, she reaches for her bag, pulling out the recently bought laptop as well as books to advance on her work due next week. She pops open a bag of sour candy, putting one between her lips, pursing her lip slightly and happily chewing on it as she reviews the material of her necessary lesson.

Next Morning

The sound of fingers idly hitting keys echoes in the living room, the pattern accompanied by a piece of classical music, Clair de Lune (Moonlight) by Debussy. At its center, Yukine Chris' hands were dancing on the keyboard of her laptop, tapping the last few words on her doc.

With a finishing hit of her index finger on the dot key, following by the shortcut for saving the recently edited and finished work, the resident allows herself a groan while stretching her hands and arms above her figure, the hem of her shirt rising subtly to expose her midriff.

With this final effort, Chris' body flops to the side, her legs dangling from the edge of the couch as she rolls on her back. She appreciates once more how soft the material of her couch is as she covers her face with an arm, sighing in both satisfaction and relief to be done with homework. She may have taken the following morning, but she was now free to spend the rest of her week leisurely.

Coincidentally, her phone rings before she could further relax.

She reaches blindly for the device, groaning while locating and taking the vibrating item before it could throw itself from the table.

"Yeah?" She answers lazily without checking the caller ID.

"Chris. Could you, at least sound a little happier when I'm calling you?"

"Sonia. While I'm not unhappy receiving your call, you pretty much called the instant I was going to relax," she pauses after her greetings, allowing her legs to join the rest of her body on the couch before rolling on her stomach. "Also, I didn't bother to check who was calling me,' she confesses.

"And what would be your idea of 'relaxing' miss I-saved-the-world?"

Chris rolls her eyes, ignoring the jab while lifting and swinging her legs back and forth. "What do you want, Sonia?"

"Can't I call a friend to know her whereabouts and how she is doing?"

A small smile tugs at the silver-haired girl. "You usually do it in the evening," she utters, checking the time on the clock and mentally calculating the time it would be on the other side of the globe. "For me, not you. Shouldn't it be pretty late there?"

"I guess it is, but I just couldn't wait to call. And I know that today is the beginning of your break, as per your custom, Golden Week, right?"

Chris' eyebrow rises at the information. "You know about it?"

"Of course, I do. I did some research in my spare time after all.

Chris could only shake her head at the reason, when she was concerned, she had to ask her friends about the meaning of the three consecutive days from Tuesday to Thursday last year. "The fact that you bothered keeping in mind some specifications of a holiday that has nothing to do with you is both astounding and worrying Sonia."

"What are you saying, Chris. It's the least I could do if I want to keep in touch with you. Especially since you probably won't bother much to do it yourself with little old me."

Chris raises an eyebrow at the remark. "Weird, I remember being asked to not call as to not actively meddle with your brother's life, and that you will be the one making the call from there. I am wrong, you brocon?" She smirks at the foreign word her close acquaintance wouldn't be able to understand.

Chris could hear a pleasing shocked gasp on the other side before the sister retaliates. "Me wanting the best for Stephan has nothing to do with me being a brocon, you tsundere!"

The reply causes Chris' mouth to hang open for a few seconds. Her shock explainable for having seemingly underestimated her older sister figure's knowledge regarding Nippon culture. She was made aware of those terms through animes recommended by a friend particularly fond of them and having them explained to her. "Right now, I'm stunned that you know both existence and the meaning of the words I said to you," she manages to convey after gathering herself from the initial surprise.

"I will have you know Chris, that both Stephan and I didn't come to Japan solely for acquiring a new prosthetic leg. Japan has quite the diversity in entertainment, especially anime, my siblings and the children love them. And I sometimes, more than often, am forced to watch with them. So, of course, I would be familiar with most slang used in Japan."

This revelation led the two lost friends on the subject, mundane thoughts, opinions as well as recommendations over possible 'child-friendly' animation. Sonia's sisters got romped into a magical girl anime all cute, until the first death occurred out of nowhere, following with the rest of the series becoming outright depressing. It was to say that Chris' favorite ended up on Sonia's recommendations list, with her own approved seal guaranteeing the 'friendly and happy' tone until the end.

"Figures... So, back to the purpose of this early call on my side?" Chris put the reason for the call back on track.

"Right. I don't hold much hope for a positive answer but... Here's go nothing. I was wondering if you would like to visit us properly in Val Verde?

A silence falls between them following the proposition. Yukine Chris doesn't hold any kind of positive experience from this place. It's where she lost her parents before her life took a turn for the worse for the next 6 years, until by sheer luck she was 'found and rescued', mainly because of her background as potential attuned with a relic.

The sole reason she accepted to come back there last year was because of a mission as well as an obligation as main member of the Squad of Nexus Guardians. And she ultimately ended up busting the leg of a local who played hero to save a hostage.

While pro for him for being able to survive a physical contact with an Alca-Noise, the reckless brat turned out to be the sole little brother of an old acquaintance of her, Sonia, which made for an interesting reunion.

So, yes, Yukine Chris was not keeping the place in her heart and probably never will. But she also was made aware that Sonia did continue her parents' work in her own way, and just to witness the result and its form would make a trip to that place worth something in her opinion.

"I'm not trying to force you or anything, I just want you to give me a chance to show you what I accomplished from your parent's initiative, maybe you to encounter some of the children we took in…" An uncomfortable pause stretches between the two before a sigh echoes from the caller. "I guess it's still too soon for you to-"

"I might for summer break, can I keep you updated on it?" The college student inquires, cutting in her interlocutor.

A small silence occurs before a delighted squeal rings from the device, actually forcing Chris to pull the phone away for the sake of eardrums. "Of course, Chris! I will be sure Stephan is present whenever you could."

Chris couldn't suppress a smile from the happiness enabled by her words. "You are not trying to set me up with your brother, are you?" She jabs at the woman.

"Is my brother not good enough for you, Chris?" Chris didn't bother to reply, merely waiting for her friend to save herself. "Just joking, though no promise that I won't do anything."

Chris sighs at the woman's stubbornness when her brother was concerned. "We already talked about th- Whatever, I will keep you updated on this then."

"Alright, I will leave you to that 'relaxing' you were speaking about earlier. Bye, Chris."

"Yeah, next time, Sonia." Chris bids farewell, ending the call with these parting words. she was then welcomed back to a sudden silent room, the classical piece playing in the background having ended long during her call.

She straightens herself on the couch before checking the time on her living room clock. She notices that it was already past lunchtime, meaning that it would have been close to midnight earlier on this day from her friend's side of the world when she initiated the call, and yet she decided to stay on the phone until this late.

"Here goes my relaxing time." The silver-haired laments, clearing the couch and table from her schoolwork and items packaging, before heading to the kitchen and fixing something to eat.

Afternoon – Grocery Shop

After an emergency lunch composed of spaghetti and tomato sauce following the inspection of her rather empty fridge and cupboard, Chris had to relent to the signs speaking of her relatively low chance of survival if she were to be forced to consume solely what she had left at home.

While she has no doubt, that she could survive on cup noodles and snacks alone, she was aware that if she allows herself to stoop this low outside of emergency or laziness, she will make junk food her go to; dooming herself for the years to come to be someone unwilling to cook to save a life.

So, asserting the sheer lack of any kind of fresh ingredient, fruits included, in her home to perform actual cooking was the same thing as if someone was twisting her arm behind her back, a gun on her head in order to head to a grocery store or any store for this matter.

In insight, aside from the slight increase in homework, Chris' personal time had increased exponentially once setting herself in Chiba for a higher education. During that hectic time that was high school, she had to balance homework, training, mission, club, and even a bit of socializing with her, at moment clingy friends. She was free from the last four in attending university, mainly the missions. Though, she couldn't help herself to do some training from time to time in order to keep some of her skills at a reasonable level, mainly 'throwing'.

She discovered that quite the interesting way when twirling a pen around her finger absent-mindedly, which by some weird occurrence resulted in the item being thrown to a nuisance pestering one of her girl classmates. While she missed her target, the incident reminded her of the time she threw one of her heels to her kouhai from a copter on a stationary flight, thankfully her kouhai was kind enough to bring the item back to her, despite receiving it square in the face and knocking her down.

Anyway, she didn't want to see such a useful skill fully go to waste because she would have no reason to maintain it. Instead, she put in motion a small routine she would perform when coming back home, or sometimes just for the hell of it. She may now even graduate from darts to throwing knives, aiming to become more proficient with the weapon to a level similar to her senpai or even Maria.

But cooking was the new hobby she decided to spend more time on. She would not pretend to be a chef or anything, hence why she opted to merely grow her arsenal of recipes, attempting at least a new one on the weekend or a free day, while customizing and improving one she was already familiar with on other days.

She may not have a long list as of now. But if she commits herself to the effort like she did with Kyūdō in her last year of high school, results are bound to appear.

And Lasagna was the idea of the week, so ground beef, onion, carotte, celery garlic, tomato paste, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, semi-skimmed milk, and lasagna sheets were what she needs and had gathered. Of course, she took other ingredients for more simple, mainly western dishes, fast and easy to make.

"Guess I will now hate this store just for this act of treachery, "The young woman grumbled, her basket full of items on the floor while her body was stretched taut and upward, the tip of her fingers extended toward the package of her prized snack.

Yes, snacks, it was not on her grocery list, but she will never miss the opportunity to stock on these when the occasion arises, except, the ones she was accustomed were on the upmost shelf, a few centimeters out of her reach to give room to the new flavors.

She was going to resort to the ungraceful act of jumping for them when a hand appears in her vision, effortlessly grabbing two and handing them to her. "Here."

Chris took the offered items, her mouth opening to thank her helper as she was turning her head to face the person, only for the words of gratitude to die at the tip of her tongue upon the sight.

In front of her was a more than a familiar face, ashen-brown hair past neck length, amber eyes mirroring the surprise of the situation, lips she has been intimately acquainted with for a short time. All features belong and complete the visage of Tachibana Hibiki, her friend, former comrade-in-arm, and adorable, bubbly, cuddly kouhai.

"Chris... -chan...?"

Chris has been spellbound for a moment too long, she heard something about distance making the heart grows fonder, that not being able to see someone at will would only make you long for the person more. She didn't really believe it, she has grown accustomed to the first month of her college life quite easily, but she may reconsider that thought.

"Chris-chan!"
"Hibi- Hiii!"

The college student was not even allowed to complete her slip-up of her kouhai first name that she has been literally swept off her feet, lifting in the air like she was weighing nothing as she was hugged dearly and tightly, arms around her waist in a bear hug, Hibiki's face nudging in the crook of her neck.

"I can't believe it's you Chris-chan!" The former Gungnir wielder squeals some more, her voice attracting stray glances from people passing by the aisle they were in.

"Woah, d- dummy, put me down already!" Chris was taking it all back about the heart growing fonder with some distance, she didn't miss these bursts of one-sided affection coupled with potential public embarrassment one bit.

Thankfully, her small outburst was enough for her kouhai to yield at her words, but certainly not to contain the girl's joy and glee as well as the loose embrace.

"It's been so long Chris-chan. Why didn't you call? Or give your new address so we can visit you? What are you doing here, or Chiba for that matter? Also, what happen to your hair and clothes, I almost didn't recognize you." Hibiki delivers a barrage of questions, eager to receive answers for her almost lost friend.

"Wow, wow, slow down will you, I can't keep up with all those questions. And I could ask the same about you, what are you doing in Chiba?" The former senpai counters with her own question as she was coming down from the initial surprise while slowly extracting herself from her friend's embrace.

"Mou, Chris-chan. You are trying to change the subject." The younger girl whines with a cute pout before smiling. "But I guess I can tell you. I'm actually visiting my family for Golden Week."

Chris raises an eyebrow at the answer before inquiring about it further. "Your family? You mean that your family resides here in Chiba?"

Hibiki's face sport a rare, exasperated expression. "Come on, Chris-chan. You know that my hometown is in Chiba alongside Miku, right?"

"That's the first time I'm hearing about it!" The silver-haired exclaims before sighing in exasperation.

She didn't know. She wasn't even aware of it, she has known those two for close to 1 year and a half, and yet she has been unaware of their life outside Lydian and S.O.N.G. But again, it was not that surprising in her regard, most of her closest entourage consist of people without any relative in sight or barely present, ultimately leaving the two childhood friends with family in the picture outside of Tokyo.

The comment causes the ashen-brown-haired girl to tilt her head to the side in confusion. "That's odd, I'm pretty sure I told everyone... Anyway, I answered your question, your turn." Hibiki reasonably shifts back the attention to Chris.

The young woman could only sigh, surrendering to her kouhai's persistence as well as trusting in her stubbornness to not stop nagging her until obtaining some satisfying answer from her.

"I'm attending the university here; I'm living in Chiba city." She replies simply, seeing no reason to beat around the bush.

Hibiki's expression was akin to both surprise and shock. "You are kidding," She mumbles in disbelief, still hanging to the words uttered by the silver-haired student.

Chris shrugs, knowing that her answer would be kind of unexpected for her favorite dummy. "I didn't want to go too far from you guys, and Chiba had a more than decent university to attend when I checked. So here I am."

Her words for some reason give a mellow expression on the former Gungnir wielder, her cheeks dusting a faint red while squirming a bit in place. "So, you were thinking about us."

Chris rolls her eyes. "What, you thought I was cutting ties with you guys? Or maybe you were missing me?" She wriggles her eyebrows teasingly, a flirtatious smile tugging at her lips with the comment.

The deepening blush on her partner spoke louder than any words, and as she realizes this, Chris' cheeks color red as well, plunging the two into an awkward silence.

Before it could truly become awkward beyond saving, Hibiki divert the subject of conversation. "I- I love your new style, Chris-chan. I really didn't recognize you at first."

The sudden compliment prompts Chris to inspect her appearance. When entering university, one of the first things she has to accustom herself to was the free choice of clothing policy. And looking around, witnessing others' outfits as well as the number of guys trying to accost her made her re-think a great deal of her own wardrobe to attend class.

So here she was with a dark red sleeveless button-up shirt, white short shorts fastened with a belt which the frame buckle is in the shape of a butterfly, the legs were covered by black thigh highs, and her feet with red booties. It quite differs from her latest style, less feminine, but the curves and assets of her body were taking care of this part, especially the emphasis on her chest any top would have, tight or not.

Hibiki was certainly not immune, and never was, to the appeal of her senpai, her eyes dropping to the college student's chest for more than one moment, but by this point, Chris found the attention quite flattering, especially when the girl confessed months ago in private having something for her prominent bust.

There was also the matter of her hair, gone were the extension ending up in twin tail, instead replaced by short, neck-length hair, more befitting of a tomboy. Ultimately, she was a far cry from what she used to look like during high school. Instead, she displayed herself as a more mature young woman ready to tackle the world, if only she could be a bit taller. So, Chris couldn't blame Hibiki for not recognizing her from afar until facing her close.

Seeing Hibiki's gaze wanders on every part of her person was doing wonder to her ego, and the butterflies fluttering in her stomach sending mixed signals to her brain and core. Grasping men's attention meant nothing to Chris, but a girl turning her head when she walks was a win in her book, more so when it was her quite dense friend.

Once she got her fill of attention with Hibiki almost drooling on her, Chris diverts the conversation. "So, if you are here to visit your family, what are you doing at this grocery store?"

Thankfully for the question and diversion, Hibiki jumps on it. "Mom, grandma and I are here for some groceries shopping as well," She replies, then, as if a lightbulb illuminates in her mind, she follows. "I should present you to them!"

Chris' eyes widen as the meaning of the words registers to her. "Wha- wait!" her protests were ignored as she was dragged through the store aisles until coming to a stop.

"Mom, grandma. I would like to present you to my close friend, Yukine Chris."

Taking a moment to regain her balance, Chris wastes little moment to hit her friend on the head with a light chop strike and chastising the airhead girl. "You should ask people their opinion first before forcing them to meet your relatives, dummy." Once her scolding done, Chris faces the one generation apart women before bowing. "Yukine Chris, a senpai and friend of your daughter, granddaughter."

"Woah! I didn't expect you could introduce yourself so formerly Chris-chan!" Hibiki nudges the college student, rubbing the spot she was hit in mock pain.

This comment earned another mild act of violence from her favorite person, a flick on the forehead. The kouhai went along with the motion, simulating the effect it should have on her while chuckling heartily. She really did miss her.

Mother and Grandmother witness the small antics between the two girls, how their own blood says another thing that didn't seem to please the aforementioned friend, exposing herself to a new form of punishment, in which both her cheeks were pinched earnestly. At first glance, it didn't seem like the two had a good relationship and yet the smile on both their face clearly stated otherwise.

"My, My, you two. I understand that the two of you are happy to find each other again, and while I would be delighted to learn more about you, Chris-chan, I believe we all have our own agenda for the moment." The elder says, putting everyone on the same page, though not missing the reaction of her precious granddaughter. She throws a knowing glance at her own daughter, and she seems to return the unspoken message. "So, I would like to propose inviting Chris-chan to dinner tonight, we will be able to get to know each other like this. What do you think?"

Chris was hugely taken aback by the invitation, a single look to her kouhai, and she was assaulted by an expression begging her to say yes. The expression was mirrored by the other family members, albeit clearly more subdued, but enough for the busty girl to make a startling realization.

"Guess it runs into the family," she mumbles before replying to the quite one-sided proposal. "Fine, it's not like I was doing anything tonight."

"Yay!" Of course, her words generate a squeal of happiness from her battle partner as well as another hug, this time looser. And while she wasn't one for public display of affection, Chris could say she kind of missed this, the randomness on which Tachibana Hibiki would simply hug her, no reason behind it aside from wanting to.

"Good, we will let it to Hibiki to tell you the address and time, is that alright with you Chris-san?" The mother inquires.

Chris nods at the mother before shifting her attention to the daughter. "Fine with me. Now, will you free me and let me finish my own purchase, or do I have to drag you with me to get to it?"

Hibiki picks on the tone of her friend, and reluctantly lets go of her, temporary sadness quickly morphing to anticipation at the prospect of having Chris over at her place.

Bidding farewell to the three generations of the Tachibana family, unless the grandmother was on the maternal side, Chris heads back toward where her basket was left unattended. Finding it in the same location and after a thorough inspection that all her items were present, she then walks toward the cash register to pay.

Once she exits the store with two bags worth of both snacks and ingredients, Chris was on her way home, her mind inevitably on the encounter/reunion with her kouhai, and by extension, her 'forced' encounter with the family, void of any introduction on both women's part.

She honestly didn't expect to be invited for dinner, but knowing her friend, she wouldn't be surprised that the two women have heard of her a lot and finally able to put a real face on her name today.

How Chris should behave during dinner, she has no idea, she doesn't know any real etiquette for such moment, making the chance of making a fool of herself quite high.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a sweet fragrance entering her nostril, a look to the source show a cake store. One she has often passed by but never felt the need to enter in.

The scent from the display of various cakes gives her just the right idea. 'How about bringing dessert, I can't go wrong with not coming empty-handed.' She nods to herself at the idea before entering the shop.

'Now I guess I just need to pick up some more decent clothes.' She thought as she begins to pay attention to the diverse baked creations.
