Hello everyone! I'm glad you all seem to be enjoying this idea of mine. I've said it before but the idea of a villain gamer is something I've been interested in for a long time. I've never read one and so eventually decided to do one of my own.

I also thank you for your kind words. Someone mentioned that the last chapter was mostly notifications and stat recaps. I've noticed this and decided to only use the skill names for the recap for each chapter. I hope this helps a bit.

Also, the last chapter was a bit of a rush for me. You see my brother had just fallen down the stairs for the second time in a month, thankfully he didn't get seriously hurt. The first time was a week before the second time, our stepdad took him to the hospital that time but the second time he was home alone and our mom was several hours away in a meeting for something.

He luckily had grandma's number and called her, sadly we live half an hour away so it took a bit to get there.

Anyways I wrote and posted chapter 2 not long after this and I didn't really focus on much of the chapter itself.

ANYWAYS! Onto reviews.

PrincelaWarrior chapter 2 . Jun 5

Is pairing Izuku with another boy an option?

Me: Of course! I don't mind same-sex couples! I myself am Bi.

Bearticguy7 chapter 2 . Jun 5

Neat I always wondered when a new villain Deku fic would get posted

Also nice story but I do have a question if Izuku is gonna go dungeon crawling might I suggest a backrooms dungeon since I'm pretty sure it would help him obtains skills like mental fortitude or resistance to madness due to the environment. Plus gain some interesting skills from fighting the entities or finding some cool things laying around the place

Me: Sorry I don't think I'll be able to do a backrooms dungeon, I've never watched any of it. The farthest thing I've got to know about it are a few film theory episodes I've listened to. I'm not good with watching scary stuff, I can listen to it just fine most of the time but watching it is difficult for me.

Thanks for the suggestion though, it's given me a few ideas on some dungeons he can go through, though they won't be based on horror movies (For the most part)

readingAngel chapter 2 . Jun 5

This appears to be a very interesting story I do enjoy gamer stories very much but you really haven't given a flashback of How Izuku is currently in this situation. Yes, I did read it from the summary but getting more details and explanations would be nice.

Me: A flashback will happen but it won't be in this chapter or the next most likely, I want to focus on him grinding his skills and keeping busy to keep his mind off of what happened.

I hope you three liked the answers to your reviews, onto the story now!

For the next week, Izuku spent half his free time raising his stats and the other half cleaning the beach. He managed to level up several of his skills and stats. He was glad his inventory was unlimited because it was very full, one thing he found out was that if he put something in a garbage bag and then put the garbage bag in his inventory it would only count the garbage bag.

He stared out at the beach just marveling at how much he managed to clean in the last week. It wasn't anywhere close to being completely clean but it was better than it had been a week before.

Izuku frowned and looked around, for the last four days whenever he was at the beach he would feel someone watching him and it unnerved him. He shook his head trying to fight the urge to look for his apparent stalker and started cleaning the beach.

He spent three hours cleaning and by the time he was done had managed to level up his STR by one more level.

Izuku had been busy trying to level up all of his stats, WIS and INT were the easiest since he spent a lot of time doing things that would level up those two stats. He was just thankful that he managed to level up his luck stat by 5 points. He hadn't seen any big noticeable differences but he did notice that some people treated him more kindly instead of sneering at him.

He felt weird about it since those same people were looking down on him not that long ago.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts he opened his inventory to see how much junk he had.

Izuku honestly couldn't believe how many garbage bags he's used in just a week, he also couldn't believe that he found two washing machines and one dryer, if he could fix them then he could make good use out of them.

He had realized pretty early on that he would need to get some how-to manuals at the used bookstore near his house but he's visited every day this week and hadn't found anything on fixing things. That didn't mean he was going to give up, sooner or later he would find what he needed.

He didn't go to a normal bookstore because he didn't want to spend full price for a book that he could find in a used bookstore one day, he didn't have much money and he didn't want to get caught stealing it. He had been lucky so far that no one had caught him swiping things but he knew if he kept stealing things from popular stores or even just stores that sold new things, he would be caught sooner or later.

That's why he was now walking into an old, out-of-the-way bookstore that sold mostly used books, sure there were a few new ones sprinkled in but it was mostly old dusty books that were being sold in this store.

Izuku nodded to the store's owner in greeting as he walked in and started browsing the store, he spent over an hour trying to find what he wanted and sighed when he couldn't. He had one last section of the store to look at before he would go home to do some schoolwork and then have dinner.

Izuku walked to the last section and checked every book but froze when his eyes landed on a book that started glowing as soon as he looked at it. When he looked away it stopped glowing but started up again as soon as he looked at it.

He slowly walked up to the book and picked it up, he was surprised to see he got a notification as soon as he picked it up.

Skill book found!

Congrats you found a skill book! These are books that let you learn a skill instantly, be warned that if you chose to instantly use this feature then the book will instantly disappear as it is used.

Izuku stared at the notification before he looked down at the book in his hands and used observation on it and was surprised.

Mana Ball Skill book

This book helps the reader learn how to access their mana and turn it into a ball that they can then throw to hurt enemies. Like all skills, you can level it up to make it stronger.

He was ecstatic, this would be how he learned to use his mana! He looked at the price and noticed it was only six dollars, he could afford that. He walked up to the front desk and let the owner check him out.

"Find what you've been looking for lad?" The owner asked while bagging the book for him. "No, but I found something just as good, I'm going to start coming here every other day until I find what I have been looking for."

The owner then looked up at him, "What are you looking for in these dusty old books young man?" Izuku didn't see what the harm was in telling him so he did. "I'm looking for books on how to repair different objects, I'm cleaning up some of the old book and found a few old things I want to try and fix."

"I'll be sure to set any repair books I get to the side then."

"W-Wait really? Why would you do that for me?" Izuku asked surprised, no one else had ever gone out of their way to do that for him, no one other than his mom that is and she's gone.

"Well, us quirkless people need to stick together don't we?" The old man hummed and leaned back in his chair, smirking at Izuku's gaping mouth. "You're quirkless?"

"Yup, back in my day it was a hell of a lot more common for people to be born without any powers."

He was interested in hearing more but a look at the time told him that he needed to get going, "I need to get going but maybe we can sit down to chat about what it was like for quirkless people when you were my age?"

"I would like nothing more." The man laughed and waved Izuku off as he ran back home with his book.

He ran home and made himself a peanut butter sandwich and poured himself a glass of milk. It wasn't the best dinner but it was something to eat at least, he couldn't wait until he could get enough money to eat properly. He was running out of food in his inventory so he would need to snatch or steal a few things tomorrow when he went to work.

As soon as he finished dinner he took the mana skill book out of its bag and stared at it, he wondered if he would learn more if he read the book manually or if it would be better to instantly learn it. He debated on this for a few minutes before deciding to read it manually.

He would have to try learning something instantly with another skill book, maybe he could find a skill book on swimming or something. Something that wouldn't be a big risk if it didn't give him enough skill with instantly learning vs manually reading the book.

He stared at the book for a bit before opening it, as he did so there was a prompt from his quirk.

Mana Ball Skill Book

Instantly Learn the Skill, "Mana Ball"?

Yes?No?

He pushed the no button and started to read the book properly. After five minutes of reading, he got another notification alerting him to the fact that he got the mana ball skill.

A new skill has been created! By reading a skill book you have unlocked the skill 'Mana Ball'

Mana Ball (Active)

Level 1

He quickly opened his skill tab and scrolled down until he reached his new skill.

Mana Ball

A ball of mana that the player can toss at enemies to damage them.

Uses 20 mana per use, level this up to lower the mana usage.

Does 10 damage if the enemy is hit directly and 5 if it grazes them, level this up to increase the damage.

He smirked as he read the description, he was lucky that leveling up his INT helped raise his mana. He managed to get his mana up to three hundred and twenty-five points. This meant that he could use mana blast sixteen times until he needed to rest and refill his mana pool.

He then turned back to the book and started to read it again. He spent the entire night doing this, turns out the book was a bit thicker than it looked, he just chalked it up to some quirk bullshit.

By the time the sun was coming up, he had managed to get his mana ball to level five.

Now instead of it giving ten damage to enemies if hit it did fourteen, if the enemy was grazed then it did seven damage. Izuku figured out that grazing only did half the damage a direct hit did no matter how much he leveled it up, he didn't realize why it took so long to realize but he felt a bit stupid when he did.

He stood up and stretched out his back, it was a bit sour after spending all night bent over a book so he spent a few minutes working out the kinks that were in it before he grabbed some clean work clothes and went to take a shower.

A look at the clock after getting out of the shower and drying off showed that he still had another two hours until he needed to be at work so he sat on his couch and focused on his hand trying to make a mana ball. His eyes lit up when an emerald green ball of energy appeared in his hand. He did it, he carefully moved the ball from one hand to another trying to get a feel for how the energy felt in his hands.

He wondered if the color of the ball was the color of mana itself or if each mana power had a different color. He made a face and let the ball disappear and thought about what to call his mana powers, he couldn't just keep calling them mana powers, maybe he should call them spells? He figured it was better than anything else he could think of at the time.

Mana skills are now called Spells! These are now two choices when you look at your skills tab, a tab for your normal everyday skills like jogging and cleaning and another for Mana skills like Mana Ball and ?.

Izuku blinked at the notification and noticed the question marks at the end, he wondered why the game added the question marks. He was thankful the game separated his normal skills and his mana ones. This would make it a bit easier when he had to look for a skill fast. Sure he would still have to look through the skills in that tab but it wouldn't be as bad as it would have if all of the skills were clumped together in one big list.

This way if he needed to look at a mana skill he could without needing to look through his normal skills and vice versa.

He opened his skill list and looked at it.

Skill List

Gamer's mind (Passive) maxed out

Allows the user to calmly think things through. Allows peace of mind. Grants immunity to psychological status effects.

Makes it so the player no longer needs sleep unless injured.

Gamer's body (Passive) maxed out

Grants a body that allows the user to live life as a game. Makes it so the Players body does not take damage unless in low health. Will make it so no bruises, scratches, or cuts will appear on the player's body unless in low health.

Skills

Spells

Looks like his Gamer Body and mind skills didn't go inter either of the different tabs, that was interesting but made sense. They weren't normal skills but they weren't spells either. He wondered if there would be any more categories for skills as he got more.

He spent the rest of the time until he needed to leave by summoning a mana ball and letting it dissolve away, he managed to get a good handle on summoning it, now he needed to find a way to get a handle on throwing it.

He figured he would try throwing it at a few things at the dump later today when he went to clean. He wondered how it would go.
