While everyone was standing up from their seats, they were talking with one another and nodding. Melinda looked around for Ponyboy. He was talking to someone else. Melinda moved up to Ponyboy. Then, she tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around to her.
"Hi.",said Ponyboy with a smile on his face.
"Hi.",said Melinda.
She looked around to see that everybody was already talking to one another. She turned back to Ponyboy.
"So, tell me more stuff about you.",she said to him.
"Well, I live with my two older brothers. Our parents died. My oldest brother is usually one who works to support for us financially. What about you? I would like to hear more about you.",said Ponyboy.
Melinda went quiet. Even though she introduced herself to the group and the reason why she was here, it was still not a happy memory to bring up again. Once again, she had to remind someone else about how broken she felt inside. Looking at his kind face, she really wanted to get past it. She looked up to Ponyboy who was already waiting for a answer.
"Well I live with my parents and my older brother. What happened to your parents, anyway?",asked Melinda.
Ponyboy looked down, then looked up to Melinda.
"My parents died in a train crash.",revealed Ponyboy.
That was when Melinda gasped, then reached up and gave him a big hug.
"I'm so sorry.",she said .
Then, the both of them heard a shout.
Mr.Miller yelled out, "Session's over!"
Which caused everybody else including Melinda and Ponyboy to sit back down in their seats.
