Chapter 5 The Young Wizard Trouble!
Jake was on his way to Fred's castle when a few magical creatures ran up to him in a panic.
"Prince Jake please help us!" pleaded, a Leprechaun.
"Calm down. What's going on?" asked, Jake.
"A wizard is here and he is hexing everyone." said, a pixie girl.
"Show me."
The leprechaun and pixie showed Jake a wizard in a white outfit with a dark blue cloak hexing other magical creatures. Jake walks closer and saw familiar red hair.
"Nigel?"
"Oh, hello Jake. Why do you have crown on your head and in your dragon from? Not that I'm questioning your life choices or anything."
"I'm the new dragon prince. But why are you hexing everyone?"
"First off, congratulations. Second the creatures here don't appreciate my brand of magic so why not teach them a lesson."
"You don't get respect that way."
"But they don't want to be friends anyway."
"Because of the hexing. You need to change everything back."
"Wait. What do you want me to do?"
Jake: "Friendships don't mix with hexes and tricks, and that's why they turn and run. So, if I were you, here's what I do, I fix all the bad things I've done... Cause you wanna be a good young wizard, they'll give you a chance if you make a switch. You'll make lots of friends without any hitch, If you could be a good... young Wizard."
Jake led him to the group of magical creatuers Nigel hexed. They almost ran off in fright.
"Wait! Nigel doesn't want to hex you." called out, Jake
"He doesn't?" asked A Gnome.
"I want to make up for what I did."
"Really?" questioned, a pixie,
Nigel: "Yes, I turned your clogs into frogs, and yes, I changed your flute to a newt. But now I'd like to show that I'm sorry, though they're kind of cute! Still, I'll turn them all back now, yes, every spell I'll undo. You'll see I'm not gonna stop, until they're good as new! 'Cause I wanna be a good young wizard, give me a chance and I'll make a switch!"
Jake: "Just give him a chance and he'll make a switch, he wants to be a good young wizard!"
Pixie girl: "I don't believe it!"
Troll: "Yeah, he's always hexing us!"
Gnome: "Look, this was my favorite toy ball, he hexed, now it's just a toy brick!"
Fairy: "Our cat used to purr like a kitten, now she cluck, cluck, clucks like a chicken!"
Elf: "I had a box full of crayons, now this blob is all that I've got!"
Wood Nymph: "And yes, my little basset hound's cute, but my matching tail is not!"
Nigel: "But I wanna be a good young wizard!"
Jake: "Give him a chance and he'll make a switch!"
Magical Creature: "If we give him a chance, this new young wizard, how do we know that he's gonna switch?"
Nigel: "You'll see, I'm gonna undo it all."
Pixie: "Yeah? When?"
Nigel: "Right now."
(Hex undos)
Lucinda: "Who's next?"
Fairy: "Us!"
(Hex undos)
Fairy: "Thank you."
Gnome: "My turn!"
Pixie: "My turn!"
Wood Nymph: "No, me!"
Elf: "No, me!"
Troll: "Fix me!"
Nigel: "Don't worry, I'm gonna fix everyone!"
(Hexes undo)
Jake: "So what do ya say? Will you give him another chance?"
Elf: "Yes, I forgive you, Nigel."
Pixie: "I forgive you, Nigel."
Gnome: "I forgive you."
Fairy: "I forgive you."
Wood Nymph and Trolls: "Us, too!"
Magical Creatures: "He's gonna be a good young wizard!"
Nigel: "You're gonna see, I'm making a switch!"
Magical Creatures: "Yes, we believe you're making a switch, you're gonna be a good young wizard!"
Jake: "You've had a change of heart..."
Nigel: "And I'm making a brand-new start..."
Magical Creatures: "From now on... You're a good... Young wizard!"
"Thank you for helping me see my errors, Prince Jake." said Nigel as he bowed.
"It's what friends do. Also, you don't have to bow or call me prince. My friends don't have to. The Magical Creatures now see you as a friend so any time you visit, they will welcome you with open arms as shall I." replied, Jake sincerely.
Nigel hugs Jake and goes home as Jake flies off to Fred's castle since it was still early morning. Looks like people from Jake's past are starting to show up. Will he be able to handle it all? Only time will tell us the answer.
