Chapter 40
"And then, we played a lot, and then, we had a snack, and then, I made new friends…"
He hasn't stopped talking yet. It doesn't help they had a sweet snack at break time. Which only made Gojo more hyper than before!
Yua snickered to him as he spoke about the game, how much fun he had and how great it was to play with kids his own age. "They would NEVER let me do that at home. Not even with other family members." He explained.
"That's not nice or fair." Yua said offhandedly.
"But… it's because I was born strong. Six eyes or something like that. I don't really understand it just yet, but I see a lot of things that are weird…"
She brought Gojo to a small lake on the outside of the village. She took a seat and he sat next to her. They peered out over the water. "So, what do you want to do Gojo?" she asked.
He shrugged. "I wanna have fun… but I know that I have to be responsible… but I still want to have fun!" he protested. "It's not fair!"
"It never is," she said as he fell back and peered up at the sky.
"Then, why be a sorcerer?"
She smiled to him. "Well, we can help a lot of people can't we?"
"Yeah, but no one will thank you for it…" he said with a pout. "I don't think it sounds like a lot of fun either…"
"It's not," she said bluntly. "But at the same time, you see things that normal people cannot see. Since they can't see it, they cannot defend themselves now can they?" she asked.
"Guess not…" Gojo then sat there, thinking rather deeply. "That girl with the fox toy… do you think she likes me?"
"You're six, why are you thinking of girls now?!" Yua laughed.
"She's different," he said with great admiration. "I've seen others, my family has tried to introduce me to them and I refuse them all. They looked at me funny, and I didn't like that. But she… was different." He paused and stared at her oddly. "Her energy was a lot like yours."
She always did have strange energy, Satoru told her that before too. She smiled to it all though. "Was that what attracted you to her?" she asked curiously.
But he shook his head!
"No," he said as he fell oddly quiet. "I don't know what I felt before… but all I knew was, when I saw her… I wanted her to be my wife."
He has never uttered such words before, but that is also making her wonder if his marriage proposals are actually real! But then again… he's proposed to Nanami at least three times from what she has seen.
"I really would be a good husband to her. I like her, all the others I met I didn't like at all. They looked at me funny, some were even whispering to their parents about me… I know what they were all thinking too. They believe that if they married me, they would have powerful children who are sorcerers. When I met the Tooru family. They… they looked happy enough. I mean, they were strong and yet, never did they consider or think of powerful offspring to farther their bloodline. They were the first family to ever say no to an arranged marriage to my clan."
How the hell can a six year old be this observant?!
Yua was taken aback, was that what drew him to her? She knows when she was a child, she didn't know or care who Satoru was at the time. Not even her brother by the looks of it. But then again, was Shin aware of him? Did her brother know who Gojo was at the time but chose not to say anything about it?
"Miss… when I grow up, do you think she would remember me? The little girl with the fox plush toy?" he asked innocently enough. "I do like her, but I don't know if she likes me back…"
"I suppose you would have to ask now, wouldn't you?"
Gojo nodded. He suddenly leaned over and began to nestle himself in her lap. His head rested against her chest as he sighed contently. "Today was great, I hope I can do it all again tomorrow…" he yawned aloud and fell asleep.
Yua smirked as she gently patted the top of his head. "You won't even remember this day tomorrow… sadly, neither will I… that was your condition to the vow wasn't it?" she said and smiled. But at least, he got to have fun a child…

The next morning…
Yua woke, everyone had woken up earlier to see if Satoru was still a child, since, after all, they wanted to know what else he was hiding. Yet much to the dismay of the people, they found Gojo was back to his normal self once again.
Yua's mind was a blank from yesterday for the most part, however… there was something she wanted to address.
She gave off an odd bird call, which caught the attention of those around her. Gojo even snickered. "Since when do you do bird calls?!" he laughed.
But she only smiled as she continued these odd pitches and tunes, but the calls reached the right ears. Tanso was listening very intensely to what as whistled. He suddenly left as Yua continued to grin.
She went to the communal eating area where she caught him in the act once more. Geto was hanging around Yuuji and snickering at him. Itadori had grown out again and Geto was poking fun at him once more. "Look at you, even bigger than yesterday huh?!" he laughed.
"I do believe we told you to knock it off, as well as not to mock Itadori…" she said in a matter of fact tone.
Geto smirked. "Oh? What are you going to do about it? You're a Tooru, I know that much, but what could you possibly…"
SLAP
From behind, he made his move. Yua smiled once more as Noranso suddenly came out from behind him! "You got my message huh?" she asked of him.
"Older brother Tanso explained everything, I do believe I have the proper ratio."
"Proper ratio…" Geto whispered nervously.
'Yua…' Yuuji asked as he too looked concerned.
But her smile grew just as Geto began to feel something off about himself.
Then, his waistline swelled.
"WHAT?!"
His face filled out a little more as his body continued to expand. The room stopped to watch as he grew out more and more until…
He was Yuuji size.
"I think that's good." Yua said with a nod.
Noranso agreed. "See little brother, anyone who mocks you, gets to deal with the brothers… and Yua." He said and gave her a wink.
"I only guide you as to what you should do…" she said offhandedly.
"TURN ME BACK!" Geto demanded. "I don't look like this, turn me back!"
"Nor does Yuuji, and yet here you openly mock him for this situation…" Yua paused but a coy grin came over her.
"Whoa, look at what the cat coughed up…" Suiryu came into the dining area but smirked as soon as he saw Geto. "Noranso's handy work?"
"Indeed. But I am about to give Geto conditions to turn back… he has to earn it."
"HOW?!" He demanded of her.
"Well, what would be a good idea for a man your size to do to win your freedom from this? Oh I know… SUMO WRESTLE FOR IT!" she decreed.
The room froze in confusion. Even Suiryu was stunned. "Sumo wrestle… you want him to sumo wrestle?" he asked in confusion, but then considered the notion. "You know what, yeah!" he said with great enthusiasm. "Let's do that!"
"I don't know how!"
"Then start learning, the sooner you learn, the sooner you work for your alteration back to normal. We are going to have you wrestle until you win three matches. When you win three I'll ask Noranso to turn you back." She said with a big smile on her lips. "You refuse… you can stay like that, is that okay Noranso?"
"I already used what energy I needed to turn him, it's stuck in his body until I take it out." He said and smiled wickedly himself.
Yua's smile only grew. "Get learning, or you are going to be rather… fluffy for a while…"
Geto stormed out of the room, but Yuuji looked to her with great admiration. 'Thanks Yua…' he chirped.
"Any time Itadori."
"My God, this woman is scary." Suiryu muttered and shook his head in disbelief. But then, that twisted grin came over his lips. "Then again, I am glad she is on our side!"
