Chapter 41

"What do you mean? Do I remember what I said yesterday?"

Gojo was utterly confused. He didn't understand why people were bombarding him with question about yesterday. However, as he checked his phone he realized… he was missing a day. "Huh… I wonder…" but then froze. "No… I couldn't have…"

He had to find Yua.

Yet as he rushed to the communal eating area, he froze as Geto came running out… a very large Geto mind you. "Suguru?!" he asked.

His former friend froze before he turned and glared at Gojo. "What is that woman doing!?" he demanded of him. "One moment, I'm just joking around with the fat kid, next thing I know… THIS!" he protested.

Gojo snickered. "You don't mock Itadori for what has happened to him. I am certain even she told you that right? And told you to stop too."

"I was just joking!" he protested.

"So… Noranso turned you into this."

"Is that his name, then yeah, he did. Tell her to tell him to change me back!" he demanded.

Gojo paused for a moment, considering the options but at the same time. He has been mocking Yuuji a lot. Yua doesn't allow him to, so why should he be permitted? "Are there conditions for you to turn back?"

He sneered. "Sumo wrestling…" he muttered.

"Huh?"

"She wants me to sumo wrestle in order for me to be turned back!" he protested.

Gojo paused, before a smirk crept over his face. "Really? SHE came up with that, not Suiryu?"

"Who the hell does she think she is? She is controlling everyone here easily! Those curse womb guys… they do whatever she says!"

He snickered. It wasn't that.

They just respect her.

Gojo has seen Yua spend time with the curse wombs as well, she keeps them posted on Yuuji and Suiryu through their changes. At the same time, she gets to know them better. Just a while back, he found her in the woods with Tanso as he showed off his familiars to her. Despite some of them looking demonic she was quite fascinated to see them and noticed how well he cares for them.

To him, they are not minions, but loyal companions.

"Well, good luck in getting her to change her mind… she did warn you not to mock Itadori, I was given that warning too you know!"

Suguru sneered. "If you ever make her your woman, control her!"

"PPppffff! YEAH RIGHT!" he laughed aloud. "Besides, you have better things to do right now, like… learning how to sumo wrestle?"

"Shut up!"

Suguru tried to storm off, but with his size, it's lost its effect!

It wouldn't be three hours later when Suguru demanded a chance to be turned back.

Yua however was anticipating this. "Oh good, I got three opponents for you already!"

"What…" he muttered. "You already got three opponents lined up?"

Her smile grew. Gojo of course was watching from a small distance but grew curious. "Oh? Who are the lucky sumo wrestlers?" he asked.

"It's a surprise, let's go, Sanso should be done the ring by now."

"Ring?" Gojo and Geto muttered.

Yua took them to the middle of the village, the students, teachers… well… everyone was gathered!

She stepped into the ring before announcing to the masses. "Suguru Geto is about to challenge for his sentence to be reprieved. As such, it's only fair that he earns his freedom from his current state in a battle. But not of curse energy. SO with that being said, Suguru you have the chance to earn it. Here are your opponents that I chose myself… but… I'll introduce them one at a time," she teased.

'My God she is scary' Gojo thought to himself. She is almost as sinister as Suiryu, just without the bloodlust.

Suguru stepped into the ring. "First opponent… JUNPEI!"

"Junpei!?" everyone asked.

Junpei appeared but, he had bulked himself out a little. He gorged on cursed blood and became burly, but not large like Suguru. "Are you serious?" Geto demanded. "Then again, I'll be changing back a lot faster than I thought I would be…"

"I would watch your tone… what you don't know is… Junpei is into sumo wrestling. So he knows the rules and the moves!" Warned Yua.

They took their positions.

Calling the match would be Fushiguro.

Gojo watched on as he called for the contest to start. Instantly, Junpei went for the rush, he pushed back Suguru and then landed a firm slap! Everyone cringed as he heard the flesh on flesh contact, but it only grew as Junpei kept up the barrage before shoving Suguru out of the ring!

"Winner, Junpei!"

"What! No! I didn't hit the ground!"

"You were forced from the ring, one down." Called Yua. Junpei smirked as he stepped out. "Next Opponent… SUIRYU!"

Suiryu went all out for this, he didn't alter his physical body but he did wear the traditional loincloth! He made certain Nobara saw his backside before entering the ring.

Her red face said it all.

"Contest, begin!" Fushiguro called.

Suiryu body slammed him out of the ring.

"It's rather sad to watch but at the same time, I think this is a good lesson for him to learn." Yua said offhandedly.

"This isn't fair!" Geto protested.

"Fushiguro, step out. I'll call the next one." Yua insisted. Although against the traditional rules of sumo, no woman is to step into the ring, not matter the circumstances. However, they aren't going by traditional rules either. Yua took to the ring before that smile came over her lips. "TOJI!" she called.

This… even caught Gojo off guard.

Toji wondered out, yet as he did. Megumi left in a hurry. "What's his problem?" Gojo muttered.

Yet as Toji took to the ring, Suguru smirked, perhaps thinking he has the advantage.

Yua was even grinning an evil smile. "Contestant… FIGHT!"

It was strange, Toji did nothing as Suguru came right at him! Strike after strike, he didn't move, he didn't flinch, even when he slapped Toji, it didn't have the same impact as to when Junpei slapped Suguru. Toji… stood there and took it until Suguru realized. He wasn't stronger than him.

"You done?" Toji asked. "I think your done… it's my turn now!"

SMACK!

And open palm shot to the chest… and Suguru flew!

Literally, he went flying out of the ring. Pass the houses… nearly to the edge of the village. And a few bounces along the way before a plume of dust followed.

"Nice distance," Yua said with approval. "But you could have let this linger a little longer, you know… not use your full strength or anything…"

"Meh, he's not even worth it." Toji muttered. "I'm going to head off."

"Sure, sure. Thanks for your help." Yua said and waved him away.

She then turned to the masses. "SO! Let this be a lesson to EVERYONE who believes it's okay to mock Yuuji Itadori in his current state. IF I hear any fat jokes, comments, or even the slightest insult to him… I'll Suguru you!" she threatened. "And I have the means and assistance to do so, if that is okay with the brothers."

"No problem!" called Noranso. "This is rather fun for me." He said proudly.

But it made everyone else a little nervous. "So, are we clear… no mocking Itadori for his state and future state of being, yes?"

Everyone agreed.

So that was it, Suguru was the warning to everyone not to mock Yuuji for his current state!

When Geto came too shortly after. Gojo decided it was time they had a talk. He brought his friend into the woods and explained the situation. "You really shit the bed here, you do know that right?"

"How it is MY fault?" Geto snapped back. "Jeeze, I thought you would at least be on my side, it was just a joke."

"Yeah, well, jokes aside, Yuuji is very self conscious about himself. He doesn't want to be in the state he is in, and this is also against his will. So mocking him is not helping him, he knows what is happening, and doesn't need to be remained of the fact. So, back off, okay?"

Suguru sighed aloud. He was covered in bruises from the event, he also must realize no matter how hard he tries, and Yua will have an opponent that will beat him time and time again, over and over. He will be trapped in his current state for a long time.

"So… how do I change back?" he asked.

"I think you need to speak with Yua."

He shuttered at the notion. "She won't turn me back, in fact, every time she sees me like this and no one else is around, she laughs her ass off!"

"Really? She thinks this is hilarious?"

"Shut up,"

The two fell silent.

"Are… are you glad I was brought back?"

Gojo paused oddly, he turned and saw Geto appear a little meek about the question. Was he afraid of what he was going to say? Gojo on the other hand… "I didn't want to believe he did that, reviving you and all that… and yet, Suiryu saw something in you that could help us, right? You do know… taking your life was the most difficult thing I ever had to do with my own hand. I didn't want you to die… I didn't want you to leave the school but I also understood how frustrated you were with how things were done. I just wished you had been at my side when the system was taken down." He confessed.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I mean… I understand where you were coming from. The frustration of everything and yet, to turn your back on what we were sworn to do. Like it or not, we descend from humans too, we are still like them for we are merely humans with curse energy that can be controlled. But it's that, which makes us controlled too, the council, the elders…"

"Then why didn't you come with me?" Geto asked.

"Because, I didn't like that path."

The two went silent once more. Geto sighed aloud. "I'll speak with Yua and see if I can turn back… I know at this point I will never win against her. She's thinking two steps ahead isn't she?"

"More likely, she is thinking how she will teach you a lesson you won't soon forget."

Yua was satisfied for now.

At the same time, she is trying to figure out a way to stop laughing every time she sees Geto. For some reason, his current state just makes her cackle like a mad woman! It's startled Suiryu and Yuuji too.

"So… what's next?" Suiryu asked.

"After you get some pants on, I'll think about what to do with Geto. Knowing him he is going to be begging to be turned back. He should also be made aware of his actions and it's hardly been a day so this lesson won't sink in… hmm…" she thought it over and decided. "He's going to be stuck like that for a week or two… let's make it two. Then he can turn back, I won't have him sumo wrestle anymore either."

"Aaaww, I liked it!" Suiryu protested. "It was fun to shove him out of the ring. I should have slapped him but had I, I doubt he would have lasted another match."

"Good call on your part, but I think the lesson is getting through to him, right?"

Suiryu suddenly peered behind her. "You can ask captain chunky yourself."

She snorted a laugh, but turned and found Suguru appearing rather humble and Gojo lingering by. She couldn't help but snicker at him but managed to calm herself. "Suguru…"

"I'm… I'm sorry for my actions." He said with great sincerity. "Please, can I change back?"

She sighed aloud, he did look pathetic as he then prostrated himself as best as he could. "Two weeks," she decreed. "And you change back, no more sumo wrestling unless you piss me off or mock Itadori, got it?"

"Yes, thank you"

Wow… he didn't fight her on that. Just as Yua turned to leave, Geto was still on the ground. "You can leave now, you don't have to beg anymore."

He was silent on the matter.

Suiryu then started to snicker aloud. "He can't get up," he began to add salt to the wound, Suiryu peered over Suguru and said aloud. "NOW you look like Buddha!"

Yua burst out into a fit of laughter!
