Hot Drop Cliff

Camp Wawanakwa. For the fourth summer in a row, it's been a place of many fun and fond memories for Izuku. Hell, he might even go as far as saying that it's his home away from home. It's due to the camp that he often looks forward to the summer. How can he not? Not only is the camp filled with various activities that often end in laughter and smiles every single day, but he also gets the chance to befriend a lot of interesting characters; Both campers and counselors alike.

With this particular summer having been his third year as a counselor, he's happy to have had the chances to show campers just how fun Camp Wawanakwa can be, just as his predecessors did for him during his first and only year as a camper. And as per usual, what fun it was!

Now, it was the end of summer and all the campers had departed back to the mainland via yacht about an hour ago; Courtesy of the wealthy camp owner, Chris McLean. As for why he and his fellow counselors are still on the island, the ever so generous Mr. McLean had decided to reward his employees by allowing them to use the island for some much-needed 'downtime', giving them 2 nights to do whatever the hell they wanted as long as they didn't destroy the place. Awesome boss, right?

By his lonesome, Izuku chose to use the first hour of his free time at Hot Drop Cliff. As the name implies, it's the tallest point of Wawanakwa island, being a literal thousand foot high cliff that lead straight down to the surrounding water below. Yeah, one would have to be nuts to leap off that. Miraculously though, one can survive it.

"One day, Izuku. One day." Izuku chuckled as he looked down to the water, sitting along the edge as his red-sneakered feet dangled. Deeply inhaling, he restored some fresh nature air in his lungs. "That's the stuff." He smiled, leaning back on his hands as he faced the clear blue sky with closed eyes. Throughout the island, a warm breeze soared, adding to Izuku's tranquility as his hair flowed with it. Suppose it goes without saying that despite never having jumped the cliff, it's still his favorite place on the island to be alone.

Crack! Snap! Snap!

Startled, Izuku gasped, snapping to reality as he heard someone, or something, approach from the woods behind him. "Um, Hello?" He called.

"Izuku?" A feminine voice responded.

'Yup, definitely a someone.' Izuku thought, stifling in relief as he recognized the voice. "I'm here, Lindsay. Come on out."

With that, a pretty blonde girl stepped out into the open. Not only was she pretty, but she was also rather... well-developed. Holding her perky G-cup bust, she wore a red tank top underneath a tight brown vest, an orange striped mini skirt outlining her shapely hips and butt, and brown cowboy boots with stars on the sides.

'Lindsay Ferris. Unlike me, this summer was her first time ever attending Camp Wawanakwa, along with a few others. As you can probably already tell, we're friends and fellow counselors. In fact, I'm the one who showed her the ropes the day she arrived. And through that challenging training, our strong bond was formed. I say challenging because... Well, while Lindsay may be an incredibly beautiful and sweet girl, she's not exactly the brightest of the bunch. As much as I hate to point it out, it's the truth. Nevertheless, she'd managed to pull through as she more or less got the hang of things after a week. Which, I gotta say, I'm proud of her for. Initially, she wasn't all for coming to camp as it's far from her favorite scene, given that she's what you'd call a 'typical rich girl'. As for why she ended up here, apparently her parents wanted her to "expand her horizons", so after making a generous donation to the camp, they'd pretty much bought her way in as a counselor; Her first ever job. And seeing as I'm one of Camp Wawanaka's most experienced counselors, if not the most experienced, I was given the honor of training her. Now, needless to say, her horizons definitely expanded as she hasn't complained for the last six weeks and has come to love being at camp. It's another reason why I'm proud of her.'

"Oh, there you are, Izuku! I thought you'd be here." Lindsay said with a chipper smile, carefully sitting beside Izuku after cautiously approaching the cliff.

"Hey, Lindsay." Izuku greeted with his own smile. "Yeah, sorry I disappeared into thin air down there. It's just that whenever the campers leave, I like to come up here and... cool off, y'know?" He shrugged. "It's kinda my way of celebrating a successful summer."

"Oh no, I totally get it." Lindsay giggled. "Before I came looking for you, I did something similar on the beach for awhile. So, I get what you mean."

"It's nice, isn't it?" Izuku said while gazing fondly at the sky, leaning back on his hands once more. "Knowing that a lot of kids went home happy after being away from modern day conveniences for a whole summer. It just goes to show that you don't need technology to have a good time; All it takes is embracing nature. That's one thing this camp has taught me, and boy, am I really glad it did."

"Yeah... it really is a nice feeling." Lindsay replied sincerely as she joined Izuku in his sky watching, but laid on her back. "You know, when my parents first told me that they'd basically forced me into coming here, I was so mad at them. At first, it wasn't how I wanted to spend my summer. But now that I got to see what Camp Wawanakwa's all about, I'm glad I came here. These last two months were so much fun, and I got to make a lot of cool new friends, as well as learn some neat outdoor tricks. But, most of all, I... got to meet you, Izuku.."

Hearing Lindsay's sudden shy tone, Izuku blinked curiously before looking at her, and upon seeing her flushed face, his heart skipped a beat. "Lindsay.." He breathed.

Now, seeing as they had some privacy...

"I'm glad I met you, too." Izuku said softly as he moved to lean over the busty blonde, coming face to face with her as they then gazed into each other's eyes; Romantically so.

As for Lindsay, her bashfulness only rose as she didn't move a muscle, Izuku pressing against her just enough for her voluptuous breasts to squish against his chest.

Then, Izuku gently planted his lips over hers. And with no hesitation or resistance, Lindsay returned the favor as she shut her eyes peacefully, moaning as their lips tenderly mashed.

'Remember when I said that we were mere friends? Well, I wasn't exactly being truthful about that..'

In typical camp counselor fashion, Izuku and Lindsay have become really close during their precious time together at Wawanakwa. It took no more than the first month for them to become a couple, as upon really getting to know each other, they noticed just how much alike they are personality wise. The only thing they didn't share was Lindsay's ditziness; But to Izuku, it only added to her charm. And of course, that's something he'd never think to take advantage of.

For a minute, the young pair's gentle lip lock lasted. And in that time, Lindsay's arms had wrapped around Izuku's lower back, her left leg locked around his thighs.

However, as much as neither of them wanted the intimate moment to end, the vital topic regarding their... future needed to be discussed.

When the thought occurred to him, Izuku ended their kiss, but did so slowly.

"Izuku... What's wrong?" Lindsay asked worriedly, noticing Izuku's bothered expression.

"...Now that we have the chance, we need to talk.." Izuku sighed, moving off Lindsay to sit again.

Not liking those words one bit, Lindsay gulped, her mood taking a swift 180 as she started to look a tad panicked. "A-About what?" She sat up, too.

"About us, Lindsay.. About... where we go from here.." Izuku lowly replied, dreading how poorly this conversation may end.

"O-Oh..." Lindsay sadly acknowledged, looking to her lap with a frown.

"Believe me, I wish we didn't have to talk about it either, but... we're gonna have to before we all head back to our homes in a couple days. So, I'd rather we do it now before it's too late.." Izuku said begrudgingly.

"O-Okay.." Lindsay sniffled, already feeling heartbroken as nothing good ever comes from 'talks'. Even she's smart enough to know that.

"...Lindsay. Let me just start off by saying that, throughout this whole wild summer, I truly did enjoy the time we've spent together. The memories we've made... I'll always cherish them. And as much I'd love to make more, there's the issue of us living in not only different cities, but different provinces as well that prevent us from going any further.." Izuku sighed, turning to his girlfriend as he took her hands in his, thumbs immediately brushing her knuckles. "I want this to go further, Lindsay. But, I don't know if either one of us has what it takes to make a long distance relationship work. I wanna say I do; God, do I ever. But, I can't.. Not with absolute certainty anyway. I'm... too afraid to risk hurting you; Lying to you if I mess up, and you don't deserve that. You can say the same, right?" He asked of Lindsay.

Managing to keep her composure, Lindsay gave a calming sigh, wiping a tear as she ultimately refused to succumb to her sadness; For Izuku needed to know her feelings on the matter. "No... No, I can't, Izuku." She shook her head, staring into his eyes once more, but with determination.

In surprise, Izuku tensed as she squeezed his palms lightly, hearing Lindsay out as she wasn't done.

"You think I don't... care... enough about you to try and make this work? Well, guess what, I do. I really, really do, Izuku. I mean, like, yeah, long distance will suck. But still, I'm not gonna give up on us just like that. Not without giving it a shot first. Yeah, we could end up hurting each other, but at the same time, maybe not. Besides, it's not like it's gonna be forever, right? Heck, I come from a rich family in case you forgot. I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind getting me a place somewhere in Toronto to be near you. Since I'm eighteen, I can start living on my own if I wanted to." Lindsay shrugged, flashing her boyfriend a sweet smile.

"I... didn't think about that.." Feeling like a dunce, Izuku rubbed his head awkwardly as he obviously didn't think about the issue as deeply as he thought. "But, you sure your parents would be okay with that? Toronto and Winnipeg are quite some distance away from each other. And you'd be moving all that way from your family... for me." He frowned, looking nervously at their joined hands. "I just don't know if I'm worth that, Lindsay.."

"Well, that's up for me to decide, isn't it?" Lindsay nonchalantly replied, not letting Izuku's anxiety remain as she raised his chin before caressing his cheek. "This entire summer, I got to be with the most nicest, cutest, and smartest guy I've ever met. A guy who's treated me right this whole time... and who I'm not gonna let leave my life so easily. So, if there's even the tiniest chance that I can keep being with him after we leave this island, you bet your sweet butt I'm going to take it. Because you are worth it... to me." She said with total certainty, leaning in to deliver Izuku a warm, loving kiss. He didn't deny her advance.

Though it was brief, the kiss, along with her sincere words, were successful in easing Izuku's mind and heart. As simple as that, Lindsay drained Izuku of any doubt; 'Cause damn, did he ever feel the same way about her deep down.

"...Are you afraid now?" The blonde whispered, hugging Izuku upon seperating their lips.

"...No." Izuku smiled, returning the embrace as he planted a peck on her head. "Thank you. I... I needed to hear all that." He sighed with relief. "The thought of our relationship having no choice but to be a mere summer fling just... It was eating me up inside, honestly. Heh, God, now I'm just embarrassed." He chuckled bashfully. "I'm sorry for being so stupid... and weak."

"It's okay, babe." Lindsay softly giggled, nuzzling his neck as she relaxed in his hold, content that she managed to save their blossoming relationship. "Look, just don't worry about the future right now, 'kay? Everything will work out... I promise."

"Heheh, that should've been my line." Izuku stifled, holding Lindsay closer; Much to her delight. Following the blonde's advice, he put the future in the back of his mind, going back to enjoying some pleasant alone time with his girl.

"Just to be super sure... Are we okay?" Lindsay asked after a silent minute.

"Oh, we're so okay." Izuku gladly answered, his remark making them both chuckle.

"Good... I'm happy." Lindsay smiled.

Nothing much else to say, the young couple fell back calmly to the ground, Lindsay snuggling up close to Izuku as they proceeded to observe the clouds go by in peace. With the party that was being prepared back at the campgrounds, quiet would be forbidden for the next couple days. So, they're making the most of it while they can.

What they didn't take notice of though, was the raven perched on a nearby tree... It's mechanical eyes zooming in directly on them.
