Chapter 18 Sweet Confession

"So your normaly cook Mikan?"Nino asked.
"Yes, I'm the one that can cook anything decent around here."Mikan said.
"Hey your the best cook here."Ryu said making Nino pout.
"Also Ryu is there any surprise we should know?"Ichika asked.
"Like what?"Ryu said.
"Like do you have anymore siblings?"Miku asked.
"Oh."Ryu understood now."I see."
They heard the door knock and he said:"Also good timing, Mikan, Kotaro."
She frowns and turns down the heat as she goes to the door with Kotaro.
They blinked and Nino said:"What are they planning?"
Ryu came and said:"Okay, introductions!"
Kotaro goes first."Kotaro."
The second is a 6 year old girl wearing pink dress, she has brown hair in a pony tail and Kotaro's eyes."I'm Mimi!"
A eight year old boy was next, he is wearing a purple jacket and black pants, his hair is like Kotaro's light-colored color and brown eyes."I'm Ken Kiryu."
"I'm Mikan Kiryu."
The fith is a guy that's two years younger than Ryu, he has brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a black shirt with a gold jacket and jeans."I'm Minato."
"And they're older brother Ryu."
They all posed together."We are the Kiryu siblings!"
The girls got surprised and Itsuki said:"He has so many siblings."
"Wow!"Yotsuba was amazed.
"You have that many siblings?"Ichika said.
"Yeah, we were at a school trip before coming back home."Minato said.
"Also did you have to introduce all of you?"Itsuki asked.
"It's fun that way."Ryu said.
Mikan goes back to cooking.
"Can I have a cookie?"Mimi asked.
"No, you'll spoil your lunch."Mikan said.
"Still it's interesting to see that you have many siblings of different ages."Ichika said.
Mimi then looks at the girls and Miku noticed."Yes?"
She blinks."Are you big bro's girlfriends?"
That made them blush hearing those words with some being happy.
"That's inappropriate!"Itsuki got nervous.
Ryu laughs and pats her head."Still the same Mimi, well i'll come back."He goes to the bathroom.
"Uh, Mimi why did you think we were his girlfriends?"Ichika asked.
"She always asks when a girl that's close to Ryu comes by."Mikan said.
"I wanted to have big sisters since I only have Mikan."Mimi said.
Kotaro walks around and Minato picks him up."This is our family."
Ken was sitting down and sees Ryu coming out."Big bro what will you be doing today."
"Well I have a job tonight as a server, so i'll be out."He said.
Nino stares at Ryu was nervous to what she said to him on the bike.
Mikan sets some dishes in the table with food and they all ate with Kotaro having some juice with his meal.
Ryu smiles and said:"It's good to have the family back."
"I guess that was the reason why you didn't want us to be seperated."Itsuki said.
"Well yeah, I wouldn't have liked it if I it happened to me."Ryu said.
"Well you are a good big brother."Ichika smiles at him."I wanted to have big sisters since I only have Mikan."Mimi said.
Kotaro walks around and Minato picks him up."This is our family."
Ken was sitting down and sees Ryu coming out."Big bro what will you be doing today."
"Well I have a job tonight as a server, so i'll be out."He said.
Nino stares at Ryu was nervous to what she said to him on the bike.

Ryu smiles and said:"It's good to have the family back."
"I guess that was the reason why you didn't want us to be seperated."Itsuki said.
"Well yeah, I wouldn't have liked it if I it happened to me."Ryu said.
"Well you are a good big brother."Ichika smiles at him.
Mikan nodded a bit, she remembers when Ryu is the one looking after them, while he didn't cook as good as that was mostly her job, when they're parents passed away he took it up himself to be a good role model for Kotaro and all of them, she could see how he goes foward and makes sure to never fall on his back to show a unbeatable duelist.
She smiles. He could be somewhat idiotic and crazy but... He's our big brother that we love so much.
Later at night
Ryu was at a cafe and was wearing the uniform serving food to customers.
He then remembers about Valentines day. I always get chocolate from Mikan and Mimi and some friends but now...
He thinks about Miku giving him so many and he was curious.
He then saw the girls."Oh hey."
"So this is where your working."Ichika smiles.
"Yeah, say how about I give you a meal on my part."Ryu said.
"Yeah!"Yotsuba cheers.
"Oh that will be nice."Ichika said.
"Okay."Miku smiles.
"Well it it can be good."Itsuki said.
"So what are you doing to do now?"Nino asked.
"Well..."He picks up a few plates."I'm going to have to wash them."
"Oh then let me help you."She picks some and he got confused before shrugging it off.
Ichika got curious and sneaks foward.
Ryu and Nino went to the kitchen and were cleaning the dishes.
"Thanks for helping me out Nino."Ryu said.
"Hey it's the least I can do for the free meal."She said.
"I'll go inform the boss, so go find yourself a seat."He said.
She got surprised and looks away with a blush."R-Right."She walks away."I'll do that."
She then stops and Ryu looks at her with a curious look."What's wrong?"
"Forget what I said on the bike. I'm sure I troubled you with what I said. It was so sudden. I think I went too fast."She said.
"Nino."He said making her stop and there was a silence."What are you talking about?"
"What?!"She looks at him.
"I don't know what your talking about. I was windy and the engine I made was a little loud so it must have made it hard to hear."Ryu said.
She got stunned."What the hell?!"
"Hey come on, i'm the one asking."He said.
"Never mind!"She walks away.
"It's hard to tell with her."He said.
Nino was walking down the halls. I guess he never heard me. It's not like we are girlfriend material for him. He didn't even notice when Miku tries to ask him some stuff. I'm glad he didn't hear me.
Ryu was still washing the dishes."What the heck is her problem?"He heard a sound and looks back."Boss i'm almost-"He saw Nino there.
"I said I love you."She said.
She stares at him and Ryu's mind went blank."What, huh?"
"I'm waiting for a response!"She said and goes towards him."You might not think i'm girlfriend material but i'll make you see me as one!"She was in front of him as she backs him up to the counter."I once said who would like a guy like you."She was smiling with a blush on her face."That girl is me. Too bad for you!"
Ryu blushes a bit staring at her.
Ichika was hidding behind a corner and she has hands covering her mouth as she was stunned to what she just heard.
Ryu himself has been having a hard time to process what has happened since Nino just confessed to him.
Note:Heres the other siblings of Ryu has they made they're debut appearance here and Nino finally confessed for real since the other Ryu didn't hear.
