Chapter 11

I held my iron sword and barged into his room. "Hey! Get your lousy ass up here and fight me!" the prison warden turned around in his seat. He didn't even look fazed. "Woah, chill buddy, you wanna challenge me?" He said. "Not so fast boy. I see you have taken down one of my guards and escaped your cell, in fact you are the only person to do so." "I see great potential in you, you have taken down many of my goons in the castle. So, I ask you, to join our faction and work with us" "No! I will never join you and your stupid, brainless, mouth-running group of turds." I exclaimed in anger, still maintaining my stance. "Heh, so be it". He picked up his shield and drew out his diamond sword. I readied myself for the upcoming fight.

"So, you ready to die?" the prison warden smirked. He raised his sword and came running towards me. I raised my sword. Both swords collided mid-air. "Where are my belongings!?" I asked him. The swords were still locked together in the air. "Incinerated" he said. "What?! Inciner-" He landed a blow on my face with his shield in his other hand. I fell down on my back. He then slowly approached me and raised his sword "Say goodbye!" he said. The sword dropped down. Before it could hit me, I rolled to my right and managed to dodge his attack by a sliver. "Ooooh, so you wanna dodge?" "Well let's make sure that doesn't happen." He drank a potion of swiftness and picked up his sword. He then charged towards me and started swinging his sword in frenzy. He was swinging so fast that I was starting to lose his pace. Blocking was my only option. I started blocking his attack with my sword but it wasn't gonna last long. And I was right. The sword eventually shattered and fell to pieces. I fell to the ground from the force and he cornered me. "Gotcha" he said. He raised his sword and was about to swing it. I had to think of something. "Hey over there! A prisoner!" I exclaimed. He quickly turned around. I quickly stood up and snatched his diamond sword from his hand. "Huh?" I ran the diamond sword through his body and pinned him to the wall. "Fine, you win. For now." "Just wait for it, my fellow soldiers will report you to the overlords." And those were his last words.

I pulled out the diamond sword out of his corpse. "The overlords? There are more of them?" I had to leave fast, before dawn. He had nothing on him so I searched his room for anything useful. I found the document on his desk that he was reading earlier. I picked it up and read it. It was some sort of plan. It was signed by "The overlord". span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /span"A week from now, we will be launching an attack on the city of Akhila. We will be sending approximately 1000 troops of skeletons consisting of 300 archers, 50 catapults, and 650 swordsmen. Ready your fleet of skeletons" "This can't be good" I thought to myself. Along with the plan was a map that seemed to show the way to the city. I stored the plan and the map in my inventory and continued searching the room. I opened a cabinet and in it were a stack of keys labeled "Cell keys". Just what I needed! Now I could open the doors for the prisoners and rescue them.
