X Miako

Present:

"Usui, where are you?" I open the door to our apartment. I just came home from shopping. I walked inside the living room and to my surprise I found Usui sleeping.

I smiled before placing the bags down and taking off my coat. I sighed as I stretched out my limbs before sitting down on the floor next to him. How long has he been sleeping for?

I softly touch the locks of his hair as I smile up at him. He really was cute when he sleeps. It reminded me of a child. Honestly, I'm glad he picked Seika at random from a book or we might not have met.

Suddenly I was met with beautiful green eyes and instantly smiled. "Hey Usui." He yawned and blinked a few times before smiling widely and hugging me. "Welcome back Misaki." He responds and I hug him back. "Thanks. Now how long did you sleep for?" I ask casually as he sits up and places me on his lap.

"Not long, I was waiting for you and I guess I just fell asleep." He explains. I blush a little at his earlier gesture. I've become used to him being all loving, but it still made me blush a little. "Why were you waiting?" I ask as I look up at him and the memory coming back is vivid on his face.

"Oh I wanted to tell you my dad is coming over tonight for dinner." He explains and I nod before it settles in. Wait? His dad.

"What? But- but I haven't cleaned the apartment or gotten anything." I explain nervously and Usui laughs. "When did you ever get nervous around my dad?" He asked with a smile as he rubs my back comfortable.

I nodded understandingly, "Have you forgotten, my family is coming over too. I'm actually worried what my mom will say when she sees Yuu." I reply and his eyes widen. "He might scare her away." I stare at him blankly. Really?

"No, idiot, that's not it, It's just I find these things so awkward. I never know what to do." I explain and he chuckles. "Don't worry, I'll be with you." I smile and he leans in closer. My senses awaken.

"Mm, Misaki?" He asks softly and I look up at him closely. "What is it?" He smiled before looking down at my lips then back into my eyes. "You seem to have changed around me; You don't get so flustered anymore." He explains and he comes closer to prove his point.

I smile at him softly. "I got used to you harassing me." I explain with a chuckle. "So you won't hit me when I do this?" He asks before fully leaning in and capturing my lips with his own.

I blush slightly as our lips move accordingly in a passionate kiss. I moaned out softly when he bit my lip, asking for my permission. Which I gave and before you knew it, we were kissing while fighting for dominance. Honestly, it's always like a competition between us no matter what we do.

After a few minutes of kissing, we stopped to regain the lack of oxygen in our bodies. I breathed out and he laid his head against my forehead.

"Your so cute Misa-chan, come on let's clean up at least for them." I blush slightly before getting off his lap and nodding.

"I'll clean the house." I explain and he nods approvingly. Usui doesn't allow me to cook for anyone else but him. God knows why, but I don't mind. I know my cooking sucks and it made me happy that he didn't mind eating my "poison." Although, I refuse to make it as much as I can. I did not want to kill my own boyfriend.

Usui stands up and stretches out before leaving for the kitchen to cook some masterpiece. He was amazing at cooking. I was always so jealous. He was good at everything actually.

Chess, Violin, Piano, Academics, physical too. Apparently, he was taught by his teacher Mrs Shizou. I sort of want to meet this person, she sounds very able.

I shook my head snapping myself out of my daze and began cleaning up. I removed all the pillows from the living room and vacuumed. I cleaned up the upstairs room and the bathroom. Then after I had done all the rooms, I moved towards the kitchen to half clean and half watch Usui.

I entered inside and found Usui busy chopping up and mixing something delicious. Usui worked at Maid Latte with me and his cooking skills improved amazingly. I loved eating the food that he made.

I moved over and began cleaning all the dishes ready for our guests. They didn't usually come but my mom wanted to see how I was doing and Suzuna and Hinata would probably tag along.

Speaking of which I hadn't really spoken to Suzuna in ages. I really missed her, so I do hope she comes over.

"Misaki, could you pass me the salt." Usui asks politely and I nod before reaching forward and giving it to him. "Here." He takes it from my hand and applies it to the food.

I smile as I dry of all the plates before sitting on the counter watching him attentively. "What are you making?" I ask curiously and he looks at me with a smirk. "It's a surprise." I frown slightly and he chuckles before pocking my brow. "Don't frown so much Misaki." Which makes me frown even more and he laughs.

He's teasing me.

"Fine, don't tell me." I reply hotly and he chuckles under his breath. "When is Minako coming over?" He asks and I look up at the clock. "In about two hours." I reply and he nods approvingly. "Ok we have time then." I look over at him curiously. "Time for what?" I reply.

He stops stirring and stands up in between my legs. His face is tilted towards me and he quickly leans in and plants a soft kiss on my lips before smiling happily.

"I want to take you somewhere, quick." My eyes widen and I smile expectedly. "It's a surprise isn't it?" I ask and he nods amusingly. "Yep." I shake my head and roll my eyes.

He has literally never told me where he was planning on taking me. It was always an amazing surprise. I didn't mind too much though since we always did stuff that I ended up loving.

Ten minutes later

Usui P.O.V

I had spotted this beautiful place on my way home the other day and I just had to show her. I was also planning on giving her something in that place; I needed it to be now though. I couldn't wait any longer.

So after I had finished making dinner I ordered her to get changed and meet me by the door, she doesn't like it when I order her to do things but today she obeyed and did what I asked. I think she understood that it was urgent.

Honestly, I loved Misaki so much. She meant everything to me; I would do anything to protect her. Even though she hates being protected and always talks about how she wants to protect me- which I find awfully cute by the way- She still lets me pamper and spoil her.

After everything that happened to me; I found out who my father was, I started getting along with him. The past resurfaced for me and I faced a lot of struggles but I couldn't have done it without Misaki.

That's why I owed her everything in me to protect her and make her happy.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Misaki descended down the stairs wearing her favourite shorts and blue shirt. The necklace we won at that love fair was smugly wrapped around her neck. It brought a smile to my face.

"I'm ready Usui." She states and I nod approvingly and hold out my hand. "Come on so we can make it in time." I reply and she takes my hand to which I respond by interlacing our fingers together.

I leaned over- I couldn't resist- and quickly pecked her lips before standing back up straight and opening the door.

The secret area

I had wrapped a cloth around her eyes, to stop her from seeing anything. I had held her safely by the arms as she slowly stepped forward while protesting.

"Usui, I can't see, I can walk on my own, if you just took the darn thing off." I laugh and she frowns. "Closing your eyes is the whole purpose; I don't want you to see until we get there." I explain and she frowns folding her arms but continues walking.

"Fine." She stumbles on a rock but I luckily caught her in time. "Careful Misaki." I breath out and she stands back up straight and turns around, facing me. "Don't tell me to be careful, when I can't see anything." She replies and I smile before picking her up.

"Don't worry I'll have to just carry you." She lets out a sound of protest. "Let me go Usui!" I shake my head. "No, I want to carry you." She frowns. "I can walk on my own."

I smile before planting a slow kiss on her lips. "Let me carry you please." I mumble against her lips and she finally gives in and nods before wrapping her arms around my neck and burying her face in my chest.

I smile happily, as I continue carrying her towards my destination.

Soon after, I slowly put her back down again and she turned around, her back facing me. She knew we had arrived.

I smiled before slowly taking off the cloth allowing her eyes to adjust to the sight before her. When she could finally see she gasped and I chuckled delightedly. I'm glad she likes the place.

"Usui this place is beautiful-", she finally speaks up and turns to look at me but stops.

I was holding a small little black box in my arm and her eyes widened. I chuckle lightly as her beautiful amber eyes glaze on me. "Don't worry it's not what you think." I smile before opening up the little box.

"It's a promise ring, that one day I'll make you mine." I explain confidently and she gasps before smiling.

"Usui, it's beautiful." I grin, "So I take it your accepting?" I ask and she nods happily." Of course, I wouldn't say anything but yes." Her words resound in my mind and I grin joyfully.

This beautiful girl was accepting me. The best words anyone could ever say to me.

I take out the ring before slowly slipping it on her finger and she unexpectedly jumps up and hugs me tightly.

"Thank you." She breathes out as I wrap my arms protectively around her. I chuckle slightly before kissing her cheek and moving my lips towards her mouth.

"Thank you for accepting Misa-chan." I reply before kissing her softly.

"I love you" We both reply in unison before chuckling lightly and kissing each other softly over and over.

Back at home

Misaki P.O.V

We walked home and I smiled contently. Usui had given me a promise ring and It was so beautiful. He had done it on this hill that glanced down on the city. The sight was so mesmerizing it took me a minute to adjust to it.

I'm so happy I met Usui and he kept pursuing me even though I rejected him so many times. He was the only person I have ever loved this much. Usui really did change me; he made me into a cliché. Damn him.

I grinned up at Usui and he grinned back down at me. "Today was fun." I reply and he nods, "I'm glad you became mine Misaki." He remarks before kissing me deeply. I kiss back and smile against his lips. "I'm glad you continued pursuing me." I reply and we both chuckle at the memory of me pushing him away countless times.

I was so defensive back then.

Usui pulled out his keys and opened the door and we were met by a number of faces.

What? How did they get in here?

"Mom? How did you all get in here?" I ask surprised. Everyone was here. Yuu, my mom, Suzuna and Hinata. Sakura and Shizuko too.

"Usui gave me a spare key." Replies Yuu grinning. I look over at Usui with surprise. Usui shrugs modestly. "I wanted to bond more with him." He replies and I smile softly.

Usui has matured a lot; I remember how angry he was when his father first came.

"We also started eating too, if you didn't mind." Suzuna explained as she took in a spoonful.

"You did come in late, so you can't hold it against us." Shizuko explains and I sigh before nodding. "I guess so." Usui let go of my hand before walking into the kitchen and getting more plates. I took off my coat and sat down next to mom and Suzuna.

After a few seconds, Usui came back and sat next to me and we all began to eat.

I was right; Usui's food has improved so much. It's so delicious. I looked down at the promise ring on my finger and smiled contently.

I was definitely happy now; I had everyone I loved around me.

Sorry guys, I know you probably expected more, but gomen, I'm ending this story. After this chapter will be the final future chapter with Haru in it. I hope you look forward to it.

Miako: *looks down* gomen, I know I'm sorry. Thank you though.

Misaki: well we won't stop you but this means we can't speak to you anymore.

Miako: *nods sadly* I know, I'm sorry. I'll miss you guys so much. But I've made up my mind.

Usui: *hugs Miako* that's ok, just keep safe we'll look out for you.

Miako: *hugs back* arigatou x

Misaki: *joins in the hug* we'll really miss you Misaki, please keep safe.

Miako: *nods and smiles* you guys should too, Look forward to the next chapter ok.

Misaki, Usui: *smile sadly* Ok

Miako: *smiles softly* cheer up, Haru will be in that.
