While way fewer people were commenting on here I did have a couple of you let me know which story you'd like to see next and I'd hate to leave you hanging! So here it is, I'll post this as is on AO3 notes and all on here today and then you'll have to wait for updates as those on AO3 are doing now :D

Happy Monday my Darlings,

I know I've been promising to post this story for a while now, and finally after multiple anxiety-riddled sleep-deprived nights and putting out multiple family fires I decided I need to stop obsessing over re-reading and re-checking my plot and that I should just post it. I started writing again because it makes me happy, but I realize now I do grow frustrated with wanting to sit down and write and finding myself interrupted multiple times. Or too exhausted after work to actually get the story on paper.

However, I know many of you were really looking forward to this one, and I do love it when I get to sit down and write it, thanks for all the love and support you provided during No Strings Attached, I hope you enjoy reading this one as much if not more.

Gateway Cruises

Day 1

Naruto was trying not to fidget next to Kiba, the drive over to the parking garage had been quiet. He looked at the handsome brunette next to him and resisted the urge to sigh. He had half a mind to tell him they should turn around when they were halfway to their destination. The blonde's boyfriend felt so far away lately, this cruise seemed to Naruto like a last attempt at reconnecting. But he already had a feeling that come the end of the trip Kiba would end things between them.

Kiba had surprised the blonde with tickets after one of their more particularly nasty fights. Kiba had left Naruto's apartment in a fit and had ghosted Naruto for all of a week before he came back apologizing. He'd told Naruto he was sorry and that he'd bought the tickets as both an apology that they could use some away time to work things out. Yet the brunette ended up acting like the trip was more of a chore than something to be excited about which made Naruto feel like crap.

Naruto had never been on a cruise, so when they made their way from the parking garage to the dock and passed through security, and spotted the gigantic ship that read Gateway Cruises he almost visibly gasped. He couldn't even process how something so big floated in the first place.

Sasuke was visibly upset next to Itachi, who had a faint smirk on his face. His little brother would never admit to the fact that he was currently sulking, but just looking at him and you'd know that's exactly what he was doing. Itachi had walked into his office out of nowhere declaring they'd be boarding one of their cruises.

Their family-owned multiple cruise lines, Gateway Cruises being the latest one to be launched. Itachi claimed they'd join their latest Cruise line to see first-hand the quality of the experience.

"If it's good enough for our clients it should be good enough for us" The older raven had told his brother. Sasuke had rolled his eyes constantly at Itachi, if his brother wanted a vacation, he could have jumped on any of their private yachts and he didn't need to drag Sasuke into it. But Itachi enjoyed people watching and torturing his brother too much.

The older raven had gotten as far as to get Sasuke's things packed "Sulking looks good on you" Itachi snickered

"Oh, sod off" Sasuke muttered as they walked through security and made their way inside the cruise.

Naruto walked in and his eyes scanned everything, it was sensory overload, from the hordes of people walking to the crowd that had already gathered by the bar that was smack dab in the middle of the lobby areas, to the three glass elevators that ran multiple floors up the ship. He looked to the side and realized he'd accidentally wandered away from Kiba, he looked around as he kept walking and before he knew it, he'd bumped into the person right in front of him.

"Sorry!" He muttered as the raven turned and caught Naruto helping him regain his balance. Naruto was a little taken back as his eyes lifted and landed on Sasuke's face, eyes so obsidian Naruto felt like he was still falling. The man gave a celebrity vibe and Naruto was most definitely star struck.

The interaction had to have lasted seconds, but Naruto felt like it was happening in slow motion.

"Naruto!" Kiba's voice snapped Naruto back to reality as he turned and spotted Kiba a few feet to his left waving at him.

"Thanks, and sorry" Naruto muttered at the stranger before he turned and made his way back to Kiba.

Sasuke's eyes lingered on the blonde as he walked away.

"Seriously, you're so scattered, how did you manage to get lost within the first five minutes of us walking in?" Kiba laughed, and Naruto blushed as Kiba grabbed his hand and walked up to a staff member to ask for instructions to get to their stateroom.

Soon enough they managed to reach their door and grabbed the little envelope that held their key cards handing one over to Naruto. They both looked through the app to see the activities being offered and figured out which table had been assigned to them for dinner. Then walked around trying to find the complementary restaurants, bars, pools, mini-golf, rope course, and all the other offerings the ship had. The Naruto doubted they'd be able to see and do everything before their 5 days were over.

They soon realized they'd need to be always holding to that key card since it was not only the key to their room but pretty much how they got charged for extras if they wanted to buy anything that wasn't included.

"The drive over has me beat, let's head back maybe we can try taking a nap before dinner?" Kiba asked and Naruto nodded at him. It took them a good twenty minutes to find their room again and Naruto knew if he went out by himself, he'd be lost for half a day, he had no sense of direction. Thank God for all the staff layered about the ship that was always more than willing to help.

Kiba fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, but Naruto was completely panicking over the rocking of the ship. It was a slight rocking nothing crazy, but still, he felt like he had to sway with the ship. In the end, he couldn't manage to fall asleep and ended up reading instead.

Naruto put down his book and looked over to Kiba, was this, ok? Was he in on his head for thinking the first thing Kiba would want to do in this ship would be to ravage him? Maybe the brunette just didn't find him attractive anymore? He brought his knees up to his chest as all types of toxic thoughts invaded his head.

He nudged Kiba "Hey it's dinner time"

"I hate to say this" Kiba said sleepily, "But I think I'm a little seasick" He muttered.

"Oh, I mean we could order room service" Naruto was bummed out he'd really wanted to go out to the dining room.

"No, you should go you were looking forward to diner"

"Well, I don't want to go by myself," Naruto said and Kiba groaned "Fine give me 5 minutes"

Naruto bit his lower lip, instantly feeling guilty "No, I'm sorry, if you don't feel well don't get up"

He stood dejected, "Oh can you bring me something to eat when you get back?" Kiba asked as he turned on the TV. Naruto felt all sorts of emotions rise up to his throat he willed them away.

"Sure" He muttered as he grabbed his key card and made his way out the door. Once the door closed behind him, he leaned against it taking a deep breath. He should have broken things off, he shouldn't have come here with Kiba. He was too comfortable in their relationship and had stopped trying for a while now. Naruto was holding on to something that wasn't there anymore.

He was happy they'd explored a bit earlier since he was able to find his way to the dining room. Everyone signed up for that specific dinner service was already making line and he fidgeted in place having no one to talk to. Soon enough the waiter walked up over to his table, and he noticed it was a shared table and almost turned back to leave, he could go to the buffet, and find an isolated booth to sit in.

But he shook his head, he was already there, and who knew maybe he would have a good experience. So, he took a seat by the corner of the table and waited to see if the remainder of his tablemates would arrive.

The waiter came by and poured some water for him and provided him with the menu for the night. He should have brought his book, at least that way he'd have something to do while he waited. Then he came back walking another little group to their table and Naruto stared.

First at the set of brothers because they had to be brothers, both ravens and both stunning. Then to the pair of girls, both beautiful, one with pastel pink hair and the other with long midnight blue hair.

The set of brothers sat in the middle of the table and the girls in the opposite corner of the table. Naruto looked closely at the raven that was sitting a chair apart from him.

"Oh…I bumped against you earlier today, didn't I?" Naruto asked him

"I believe you did, bit clumsy, aren't you?" The raven replied as he looked over to the empty seat across from the blonde.

"You've only seen me trip once," Naruto said blushing lightly but knowing very well that he was in fact a klutz "I was a little amazed at the ship, got lost within five minutes of walking in"

"You like it?" Asked the raven with the longer hair on the opposite side of the table.

Naruto nodded animatedly "I mean I have nothing to compare it to this is my first time on a cruise, but I can't believe all the things we can do! And it's so big"

Itachi smiled, happy that so far, he'd only heard positive feedback from any guests he'd engaged with.

"You here by yourself?" Sasuke asked, his eyes scanning Naruto's features again, he hadn't seen things earlier today, the blonde was stunning to look at. He was by himself, was the brunette his boyfriend or his friend? Sasuke was beginning to think something good might come out of this trip.

"Oh, he wasn't feeling well," Naruto said thinking that the raven had seen Kiba earlier that day too.

"Your friend too? Ours was being such a crybaby about the motion sickness" The pink-haired girl muttered next on the other side of the table "Name is Sakura, nice to meet you all" she smiled.

"Hinata" the girl across from her waved and smiled.

"Itachi" what looked to be the older raven said with a small smile, "Sasuke" the one that had caught Naruto earlier that day said, looking exclusively at Naruto while he said it.

"Naruto" Naruto offered with a shy smile.

The server returned and everyone put in their orders "You all have plans for tonight?" Itachi asked conversationally.

"There is so much to do! We don't even know where to start" Hinata said as she sipped from her sangria.

"Lies, we are going straight to the singles meet after this" Sakura said coyly as she looked over at Sasuke and Itachi.

"I get lost the moment I walk out of my room" Naruto muttered and mostly everyone on the table chuckled.

"You didn't order anything to drink? You're on a cruise, you're not allowed to be sober!" Sakura smiled at Naruto while shimmying her shoulders.

"At ten dollars per drink? If I attempt to even get the slightest bit tipsy I'm going to end up in debt" Naruto muttered and both girls laughed. Itachi had an idea right then and there and made a mental note to follow that through later that night.

"We are doing payment installments, but we knew we had to get the drinks package"

"Well, I didn't buy the tickets so…"

"Oh, is this a romantic getaway? How cute!" Hinata said while Naruto thought that it would have been romantic if Kiba actually wanted to be here with him.

Naruto shrugged not wanting to say that it was romantic because nothing about the trip had been romantic so far. Sasuke noticed how uncomfortable the blonde grew with the conversation and assumed things were not so great between the blonde and the brunette he'd seen earlier that day.

The server came back, and Sasuke ordered a bottle of wine, when the wine arrived, he filled Naruto's glass "This one is my treat" he said to the blonde offering him a small smile. Naruto blushed and gave a soft-spoken thanks.

Itachi looked at his brother bemused; the blonde had definitely caught Sasuke's attention. Sasuke was suddenly not so upset his brother had dragged him on board.

"You all want to hang out after dinner?" Sakura asked

Naruto shook his head "I have to take Kiba some dinner"

"What are the chances, someone in our office is named Kiba as well, you wouldn't be talking about Inuzuka?" Naruto's eyes widened.

"No way!" He said as he nodded his head "You guys work with Kiba?"

"We are in different departments, but our friend Ino is in the same department as him" Naruto sat back, they were on the same cruise as his co-worker? The one who was also conveniently sick just as Kiba had been? He bit his lip as he took a sip from his drink, Kiba couldn't be that cruel or shameless as to bring Naruto here while possibly hooking up with this girl…He let out a breath and finished his drink in one swing, he was just being paranoid.

"That's one crazy coincidence" Naruto muttered mostly to himself than to those on the table.

"Maybe he heard Ino talking about it and thought it would be a good surprise for you?" Sakura said, even though her mind was wandering towards more scandalous reasons as well.

"Well, if he's still not feeling well after you get back, we'll be at the singles meet in the Lido deck, you don't have to flirt with anyone, you could just witness us desperate singles try to score"

Itachi smirked "I love people watching"

Sakura laughed "Isn't it so fun?"

Goodness, Sasuke thought, she might be as much a sociopath as her brother.

"Creeps" Sasuke muttered, and Naruto giggled right next to him.

Sasuke smirked at him and then extended his arm out handing his phone to him, "Can I have your number?"

"That's a great idea lets all exchange numbers," Sakura said handing her phone to Itachi, soon enough all of them had exchanged numbers. Naruto grabbed Kiba's to-go plate and said his goodbyes to the group before heading back to his stateroom. He chuckled he was halfway to his room when he received the notification of a text message, he looked at his phone to see 'We on a Cruise Bitches' on his phone as the title of the group message.

'Let's all have a bomb time' Sakura had sent. He chuckled she was a personality.

He walked into the stateroom and heard Kiba in the shower.

"Naruto is that you, about time you came back I'm starving" Naruto rolled his eyes, he was the one that didn't want to go, he wasn't going to feel guilty for the fact he'd had a good time during dinner. He could at least ask him how dinner was.

Naruto's eyes traveled Kiba's tanned skin as he walked out of the shower, towel hanging low on his hips and his abs flexing. He bit his lower lip as he walked up to him and leaned up for a kiss. Kiba kissed back but made no attempt to touch Naruto further.

"You don't want to?" Naruto asked as he stepped back, the rejection left him feeling awfully empty.

"I'm just still not feeling 100"

"Oh…well the people at our table are all meeting up at the singles meet you wanna go and watch people try to hook up?"

Kiba shrugged, Naruto stared

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"So you don't want to walk to dinner with me, you don't want to have sex and you don't want to go out and have fun, what was the point of coming?"

"Really? Are you going to make me feel like crap because I don't feel well on our first day here? Maybe I can't get in the mood because all you do is nag"

The sound of the slap Naruto landed on Kiba resonated around the room "What the hell Naruto?!" the blonde looked at the brunette with teary eyes "You're such an asshole" He shoved his book into his bag as well as the charger for his phone.

"Where are you going?" Kiba called after him.

"Anywhere but here," the blonde told the brunette as he took his exit.

Naruto took the elevator and made his way up to the top deck, he found an isolated part of the ship and sat, leaning back against the beach chair. He cried as quietly as he could, coming here was a mistake, if Kiba didn't have the guts to break up with him, then he should have broken up with him.

The terrifying yet mystifying look of the vast ocean in front of him brought him some calm. The view at the front of the ship was stunning, he'd have to make sure to return the following day to see it in the daylight. He took out his book and clipped his book light on it, he just needed to immerse himself in something else that wasn't his current sorry state.

Sasuke and Itachi looked bemused as they witnessed multiple men trying to pick up Sakura and Hinata. They had both dressed quite provocatively, and they had both been drinking way too much.

"Can't believe Ino ditched us again" Sakura muttered angrily.

Sasuke kept looking towards the entrance, the only reason he'd walked up with Itachi was that he thought Naruto would join them. Naruto was quite the looker and despite their short interaction he was attracted to the blonde, wanted to know more about him, and he was more than willing to take advantage of his current romantic predilection if it meant he got a chance to taste him.

If the brunette was stupid enough to let the blonde out of his sight at a cruise, then he more than deserved for someone to take Naruto from right under him. But Naruto hadn't shown.

"Itachi, I wanna scream from the top of the ship like in the Titanic, would you do me the honor of being my DiCaprio?" She asked drunkenly

"Oh my god Sakura, seriously" Hinata giggled next to her.

"Gladly" Itachi smirked, figuring he'd rather be there to hold the pinkette and evade a lawsuit when she drunkenly fell off-board.

"To the top!" She exclaimed as she grabbed her current drink and walked towards the exit.

Sakura and Hinata mostly stumbled to the top deck and headed to the bow of the ship. Sasuke and Itachi walking behind them, they noticed the small light coming from one of the beach chairs and walked towards it.

"Oh look! I found Naruto!" Hinata said as she walked closer.

"You did come!" Sakura giggled as she sat next to him and hugged him. Naruto couldn't help but smile at the two girls.

"Hey, Itachi, is going to be Sakura's DiCaprio" Hinata giggled.

Naruto shook his head as he closed his book, both girls walked towards the front of the ship and Itachi followed behind them.

Naruto hadn't even heard the raven take a seat next to him "You, ok?" He asked Naruto instantly seeing the red in the blonde's eyes, he hadn't drunk enough for it to be from the alcohol. The blonde had been crying.

Naruto shrugged "I guess not really"

"I see you're out and about by yourself again"

"Yeah, coming here was a mistake"

"Whatever he did, don't let him take this experience away from you. You can still have fun"

"He doesn't want me anymore" Naruto whispered, and his eyes widened. This was a complete stranger he was talking to.

Once again, the raven's stealth surprised Naruto as he had smoothly moved to kneel by Naruto, his fingers gently grabbed Naruto's chin turning the blonde towards him and Naruto was staring into obsidian eyes again. Sasuke's lips were on his, kissing him softly and then sucking Naruto's lower lip and nipping at it a bit before letting go.

"He must be a damn idiot" With that the raven stood and walked towards the girls, ready to grab Hinata and pull her away from the rail. Naruto sat stunned for a bit, his face red as a tomato and his insides melting. He softly touched his lips as he looked back up at Sasuke throwing Hinata over his shoulder and walking her back towards the beach chairs. Itachi following behind him with Sakura.

"You two ladies need to head to bed" Sasuke stated.

"Such gentlemen," Sakura said and both girls giggled.

It was getting really cold outside, and Naruto hadn't grabbed a sweater before he stormed off the room. He wasn't sure he was ready to walk back in. But he joined the remainder of the group as they walked back inside and towards the elevators.

"Floor Five" Sakura told Itachi

"Two" Naruto smiled softly

"Oh, that's where we are too," Sasuke said "What's your room?"

"2284" Naruto answered

"Mine is 2299" The elevator rang on floor five and Itachi stepped out with the girls "I'll make sure they make it to their room"

Naruto was impressed with the two brothers; they really were true gentlemen. The door to the elevator closed again and Sasuke had taken a step closer to Naruto, his hand softly grazing Naruto's. The blonde felt like there was lava in the pit of his stomach.

"Are you…flirting with me?" He asked, hoping he wasn't just being full of himself.

The elevator reached floor two, but the doors didn't open "I am" Sasuke said, not hesitating for a second. Once again turning Naruto a strong shade of red.

"We should hit the call button" Naruto mumbled and hit the button letting the operator know the elevator door wasn't opening. This time he did feel Sasuke walk up to him from behind. His hands coming up to rest on Naruto's hips softly, his fingers softly sliding under the blonde's shirt, Naruto gasped.

"Since your boyfriend doesn't seem the least bit interested in entertaining you, maybe I could" The raven whispered. Naruto could feel Sasuke's warmth behind him, he just needed to lean back…just a bit…he wanted to, so badly.

"I shouldn't" He whispered

"But you want to" Sasuke replied, nudging the blonde to turn around his lips ghosting over Naruto's but not quite touching them. Naruto had been wrong; Itachi had been the gentleman. Sasuke was a wolf, not that it bothered Naruto one bit.

"Does he ravage you? Because you deserved to be ravaged" The raven mumbled against the blonde's lips pushing his body flush against Naruto's after noticing the blonde hadn't stepped back. Lust was pooled in the blue eyes.

"Hello? Anybody there?"

And Naruto crashed back into reality. Feeling the full force of shame wash over him. He was ready to finish closing the gap. To tell the raven to do anything he wanted to him.

"Yeah! We are in here the door won't open" Sasuke said as he took a step away from Naruto.

"Ok, we'll get you out in a second!"

The door to the elevator opened "So sorry about that" the man that had opened the door for them said, "you both ok?"

"Yeah, thanks"

They both walked out and down the hall and soon enough Naruto had reached his room. Sasuke leaned down and Naruto couldn't believe the raven as his lips made contact with his cheek, almost by the corner of his lips.

"Good night"

"Night" Naruto muttered as he slid his card and the door opened to let him in.

He let out a breath when he realized Kiba wasn't in the room. It should have upset him; he should be wondering where the brunette was. But he hadn't even messaged Naruto to see where he had been at.

Naruto's eyes shot down as he noticed the white envelope that had been slipped under his door. He picked it up and pulled out a new keycard with his name on it.

Naruto laughed, couldn't figure out if he should be thinking about his good luck in being picked as a winner, his dire situation with Kiba, or the dark-haired handsome man he'd come across today.

In the end, it was Sasuke that won over Naruto's thoughts as he lay on the bed, he closed his eyes, replaying the scene in the elevator over and over in his head. Sasuke's lips as he kissed him on the upper deck.

He felt himself harden, and he pushed the guilt he felt to the side as his hand slipped inside his underwear, cupping his hardened member, and gasping softly.
