"How can he still not be here? It is 10 fucking 30!" Murasame bellowed while Konoe was sitting in a chair with his phone to his ear trying for the 100th time and getting Tsuruga-san's voice mail once again. Seriously Tsuruga-san, your method acting is going to send me to an early grave.

"Murasame-kun, you are not helping," Konoe warned as he rubbed his forehead trying to ease a budding headache. He stood up with a sigh. "I will go get him."

"No! I will!" Taira bellowed angrily.

"YOU," Konoe snapped and then took a breath. "Stay here, Murasame-kun. If you approach Heel-kun right now, both of you will end up in the hospital."

"I'm going to my room. Even if you drag him here kicking and screaming, it's going to be after lunch before we do our first scene," Taira griped and stormed off. He needed the walk to cool off. He was visiting paradise and throughout the entire duration, he was constantly irritated. Nothing he did took that edge off, drinking, dancing, and even flirting left a sour taste in his mouth. It was that guy that tainted everything and what made it worse was he is a damn good actor. Ugh! If only he was terrible, then I could justify hating him completely.

He took a little longer getting back to his room. He didn't get a call from the set, so Konoe was either getting no luck getting Asshat on set, or they were giving him time to cool off. Though, Taira suspected that nothing will get him to calm down until the filming was completely over and he would no longer have to work with Cain Heel.

He got himself a treat and thought about maybe taking a nap in his room. It was just after 11 as the elevator door dinged open and he entered the empty hallway. Movement caught his eye at the end of the hall. A woman was pushing out a suitcase and left her door open. He thought nothing of it until a tall man came out after her with another suitcase and set it beside the other.

Taira stopped and ducked into a door frame that did nothing to hide him. That is where that bastard is staying. It figures he would stay on the same floor as me. Except, he didn't see Konoe anywhere, and considering he was still at the hotel, maybe the director couldn't find him.

"Because you are fucking hiding in another person's room," he grumbled. He watched Cain dressed head to toe in black looking as he normally does take the girl into his arms. As soon as he realized it was Cain, he recognized the woman as the same one from before, the one at the bar from the night before. She ran her hands down his arms and was looking sad. Cain lifted her face and he whispered something to her. She nodded and then he leaned down to kiss her. Deep down he knew he was watching something he shouldn't, but his rage was overwhelming common courtesy.

The kiss grew deeper and Taira flushed and looked away. It wasn't long before there was a slam of a door and her luggage was left alone in the hallway with them nowhere in sight.

"Are you fucking serious?!" He cursed and stormed up to the door. His hand was raised to pound on the door when it shook with a hard thump and he flushed as he heard a moan.

Rage, embarrassment, irritation, and yes, even a little bit of jealousy filled him as he turned to walk away. He made it to the first corner of the hallway he normally walked down for his room. His room was only several long strides away. All it would take was for him to turn and walk into his room to completely dismiss this whole fucked up situation. Yet he turned around and walked back towards his… her? room. Yet, stopped just before he could dare hear anything else that would upset him.

This isn't my fucking problem to fix. It was Director Konoe's stupid decision to cast a fuck boy on his film. I'm not the man's babysitter.

Just. Walk. Away.

The door reopened only a crack. Alarm filled him and he internally laughed. He is quick. He saw the girl looking flushed trying to leave even though his hands were at her waist. She shook her head and he was close enough to hear her voice speak Japanese.

"I've got to go, or I'll miss my flight," she pleaded and opened the door so she alone could step out. She turned away from Cain and Taira could see her eyes were red. He suddenly felt like shit and he was about to turn away when she looked up and gasped to see him. Her reaction must have triggered Cain because he opened the door wider to see what shocked her. The familiar heat of Cain's wrath fell over Taira and he cursed his body for shivering in fear. Stupid instinctual reaction.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Cain cursed in Japanese to Taira.

His fight or flight response made Taira stay to argue with the man. "I'm here to drag your ass back to the set. Do you have any fucking idea how late it is? The whole fucking day is gone because you were here fu…"

"You fucking say another word and I'll…"

"Excuse me," Kyoko spoke up and the two men looked down at the smaller girl in shock. It was her tone that surprised them. She sounded angry. "Do you two know each other?"

Cain said nothing, so Taira felt compelled to answer. "We are working on the same film together."

"So then you two are friends?"

"NO," they both said at the same time making her jump.

Kyoko looked at the two men back and forth and then her eyes settled on Taira. "Is that why you tried to pick me up that night? As some sort of competition between the two of you? You saw me with him and thought to try to what? See who I would go home with?"

"What? No!" Taira started but then Cain snorted. Taira and Kyoko looked at Cain for the sound.

"There was never any competition. No woman would ever choose to go with him if my bed is the other option," he said arrogantly.

"Fuck you," Taira snapped.

"No thanks, she already did that," Cain said with a smirk. Kyoko gasped in outrage. Taira felt sympathy for her. She had no idea the guy she spent the night with was such an asshole. He really was a great actor.

"Where is your girlfriend, Setsuka? There is no way she would have let this woman near you if she knew," Taira threatened.

"You told me she was your sister!" Kyoko played along in her role as the jilted lover. She turned towards Cain completely and slapped him hard. Cain touched his face and looked at Kyoko. She mouthed apologetically to him, Sorry! I love you. In a huff, she lifted her smaller suitcase and tiled the larger one to roll away. She looked up angry and hurt at Cain and confused but upset at Taira and mumbled, "You two deserve each other." Then stormed off.

Cain tsked and was about to close the door when Taira slapped his door to stop it. "Why aren't you on set? I thought Setsuka was the one to make you late, but at least with her around you came at a decent time."

For the first time, Cain looked concerned. "I don't know." He then returned that hostile glare at him. "I'll be there once I find Setsu," he snapped and slammed the door in Taira's face.

"Fucking hell, he pisses me off," Taira cursed and then stormed to his room.

Kyoko sat down in the shuttle to the airport feeling flushed and worried. Her hand hurt like crazy too. I shouldn't have hit him so hard. Her phone started to ring and she saw that it was Kuon.

"Hi! Are you okay?" she said with concern.

"I'm fine. That was a good slap though."

"I'm soooo sorry," Kyoko cried worried and Kuon laughed. She pouted. "You bully. I bet my hand hurts more than your face."

"Sorry, sweetheart. Get a cold drink to hold and the swelling should go down. I didn't see him when I checked the hall. I had no idea he would be out there," he said remorsefully.

"I told you to go to the set on time… well Normal Cain's time. It is understandable that they would come looking for you."

"It was worth the trouble," he dismissed and she could hear the smile on his face. "You did well with the clueless act by the way."

She flushed at the compliment. "It was probably completely unnecessary."

"Eh, but it was fun," he said and then backtracked, "You know I love you though, right? All those things I said I didn't mean it like that. It was an act."

She barked out a laugh and then covered her mouth as the other passengers glanced at her. "I don't know. I have a feeling that Make-up Assistant Kyoko will not be seeing Actor Cain Heel any time soon."

He chuckled. "So long as Actress Kyoko Mogami still loves Actor Kuon Hizuri, I'll be okay."

"Hmm," she said pleased. "She certainly does." She sighed and resigned to her farewell. "I'll let you go. From all those messages on your phone, I'm sure Director Konoe will lecture you once you get there. You really do need to make up for this morning with him; otherwise, this might backlash on Ren's reputation."

"Yeah, I'll make sure the film ends on time. If only so that I can see you that much sooner," he promised in a deep husky voice making her face burn.

"I look forward to it. I love you," she whispered shyly.

"I love you." He replied and said their goodbyes.

Kuon had to admit that his late entry onto the Tragic marker set was pushing the envelope too far with his acting. He had never done something so damaging to a film. While everyone was eating lunch, as many as four make-up artists were on him trying to get him ready to film. He toned down his cold attitude to try and get things done faster for the sake of the film. It only took 30 minutes to get it done, just in time for everyone to finish eating.

No breaks were called and everyone was trying to make up for the lost time. In reality, he was the one that couldn't take a break. Which he was 100% fine with. While others were snacking during their off-camera time, Kuon was lurking in the shadows as scripted. His work ethic and very strong desire to not eat made this the ideal situation for all parties. There were still moments where Kuon had a break while the film crew was forced to relocate.

He sat down at the chair drinking water already missing Kyoko. Yet at the same time, there was less for him to worry about without her wearing skimpy clothes around all these leering men. Movement caught his eye and Murasame sat down next to him. Especially this one.

Kuon contemplated leaving, but that would mean he was the one running away which was a no-go. Therefore, he stayed and hoped that he wouldn't say anything to him.

"Sooo…" Murasame started talking not even a minute after sitting. "Where she at?" Cain shot him a glare but didn't answer. After another minute, Taira continued, "You must have found her if you are here. There is no way you would come on set without checking in with Setsuka first."

When Cain didn't say anything, Taira started making stupid irritating noises and every little leg shake or antsy hand movement brought Cain's attention to him. Kuon determined that this was normal for him. Taira Murasame wasn't the kind of person to sit still.

Hoping that he would go away, he answered truthfully, "She went home."

Taira instantly laughed. "Man, she must be pissed off at you," Taira jeered at him. "For her to take off because you picked up a girl. You know this whole time I thought, there is no way she is your sister. With the way you two act…" he left the rest unsaid. "Well, if you are going out and chasing women, that answers that. And if she hops on a plane to go back to England because you got caught, well damn. I can see why you hide it." He ended with a joyful laugh at his expense.

Kuon was hiding a smile behind his hand.

"You know what would help?" Taira chimed in and leaned in as if he was going to tell Cain the secret to mankind's existence. Cain frowned and shifted away from him getting closer. "A boyfriend," he whispered. "You know instead of scaring off everyone that approaches her, why not let her get obsessed with someone else? That would free you up to…"

Cain got up and purposely loomed over Taira. "Mind your own fucking business," he threatened and walked away smiling. Thank God, that man this simple. Kyoko will be happy to hear that he believes our story – both the Setsu and the one-night stand act. He hated saying those things about her. Even though he cleaned it up more than what his mind first came up with, it made him feel like shit. He was rather happy that she slapped him. It made the whole thing feel good. Especially when she slipped out of character immediately after to apologize. He wanted to do the same thing. Thankfully, she thought nothing of it.

Now the only thing left to do was to get these two remaining days over with, film himself eating, because yes, he was still going to do that for her. He would do anything she asked of him. He loved her and he was so eager to get back home and hold her again.

"Heel-san!" Konoe called out to him and turned around towards him. "Are you ready?"

He smirked and pulled out his prop knife to twirl it around in his fingers. "Always."
