Chapter 5

Gray's POV

Goddamn it, I can't do a fucking thing. The unconscious Juvia is still hanging onto the wall. I stared at her bloody body, but other than her bruises and cuts she looks very beautiful. How can they torture such a beautiful innocent girl? I won't ever forgive them.

"There is nothing you could have done, Gray." Erza comforted, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"If I have known, I wouldn't have let her linger around the town. I should have fucking listen to Natsu said when he said he sniffed out some bad shits." I is no way I could forgive myself. "I should have paid more attention."

"It's not your fault. You couldn't have known." Lucy said as gentle as she can, I can hear it in her voice.

"I know that, but still."

"Stop being such a spoiled brat. Ice princess." Natsu rumbled. Anger began building up in me.

"How can you be so fucking calm when Juvia is hanging in front of you all covered in blood? How can I be calm?" I argued. If it weren't for these shackles I would have landed a punch on his face, but I still slammed my forehead onto his.

"Don't fight right now. Can't you see the situation we are in?" Erza demanded. "Just calm down and try to think of a way to escape." My heart cramps as I looked at Juvia. I don't know why it hurts so much, but I know I have to get her out of here as soon as I can. If her wounds are not treated Juvia will surely die, and I can't let that happen.

Normal POV

Lucy has been sitting at the corner of the cell. Juvia helped her once when she was on a verge of death, and now she could not even repay her back. What can she do now? She has to at least think of something, something that can help them with escaping, but comforting Gray was all she could do right now. Natsu too, felt responsible for the water mage. If it weren't for them she won't have to be captured. She won't have to go through all these pain. He let of a growl and smashes his cuff onto the wall, cracking the a little. No matter how many times he smashes his cuff onto the wall, it doesn't seem to have been damage, not even a little scratch.

"Gray, you really can't use your magic?" Natsu asked.

"Well, can you use your magic? Fire breath." Gray snapped back.

"What the hell, I was trying to be polite and yet you give me that freaking attitude of yours."

"Guys, would you just cut it out?" Erza, who has been really patient, finally snapped. "I don't want ANY fighting or argument allow! Understand?"

"Tch."

"We have to at least get Juvia out of the chain." Lucy said, "Hanging there doesn't seem comfortable."

"Nope, you don't have to do that." A deep, familiar voice said.

The mages snapped their heads to the direction of the door.

"Welcome, fairy brats. It's been a long time." Jose smirked as he walked through the prison door like it was made out of water. "It's been such a long time. Not exactly long. A year maybe?" With a snap of his finger, Juvia's bondage disappears instantly. Gray caught her before she could hit the ground. Carefully placing her down, Gray switched his attention back to the enemy.

"Why did you do this to Juvia?" He could barely control his anger, but calmed down a bit as Erza place her hands on his shoulder.

"Because she angered me, she went against me." Jose said as he looked at his finger nails, dry blood still coated the inside. "I could have been the richest, strongest, man in Magnolia, but you brats took that away from me."

"Master used the Fairy Law on you. How were you still able stand after it?" Erza questioned.

"That will remain a secret until I decide to tell you, Titania."

Jose took a step closer to Erza, but she made no sign of moving.

"I remember my fight with you. You were severely injured before even fighting me and still did quite well. You are strong, that I must admit, but now I am STRONGER! You can't defeat me. None of you can." Jose laughed as he landed a punch on Erza face. Caught by surprise, Erza didn't have time to dodge it. The impact was so powerful that it sent her crashing into the wall, head first.

"Erza!" Natsu screamed, before turning to Jose. "You son of a b-"

Jose landed a blow on Natsu abdomen before he was able to finish the sentence. Natsu clutched his stomach and coughed out a mouth full of blood. Landing a few more hits, Jose laughed, "Nu-uh, I don't like it when someone calls me son of a bitch."

Gray watched as Jose landed more hits on Natsu.

"Stop it!" Gray recklessly charged at Jose.

With a lift of a hand, Jose sent Gray crashing into the ceiling. Gray dropped onto the ground with a groan.

"Hahaha! This is how powerful I am. I don't even need to use magic to destroy you, umm maybe a little." He laughed. "You fairies, I will enjoy myself as I slowly pluck away your wings. One by one." Scanning the room, Jose smirked. "I think I will start with you." He pointed at Lucy as he slowly walked towards her.

"Don't you dare touch Lucy!" Natsu screamed, trying to move but can't.

"You can't move. Not even an inch, my dear Dragneel. Actually none of you can."

It's true, none of them can move, all except Lucy. Lucy slowly back away from Jose, soon her back touched the wall and she knew she was done for. Jose grabbed her head and smashed it into the wall.

"I think I will enjoy your screams, Heartfilia."
