"Optimus Prime!" Raf exclaimed excitedly.
"He looks just as awesome as ours." Miko commented.
"And with a nose." Jack squinted his eyes at his face.
The three humans watch in awe as the blue Cybertronian marches towards Bumblebee and C-81, the former saluting in his presence. Optimus Prime comes to the edge of the cliff and looks to the Combined Terrorcons. "So, this is what Galvatron has been working towards since his revival." Optimus Prime observed.
"And it's headed for Las Vegas." Bumblebee said as Jack approaches Optimus Prime.
"Excuse me, Optimus Prime? Hi, I'm Jack, Jack Darby." Jack introduced himself.
"I assume you are the humans that made contact with Bumblebee and C-Eighty-One." Optimus Prime looked to the three. "I hope they didn't alarm you too much."
"Apparently this universe has alternate versions of us, and these three knew them very well." Bumblebee informed Oprimus Prime.
"Jack Darby, Unit:E cadet."
"Raf. I was their tech guy."
"I'm Miko, giant alien robot aficionado!"
"Pleased to meet you all." Optimus Prime said before turning to the Combined Terrorcons.
"We need some serious firepower to take 'em down." Bumblebee noted.
"Whatever you do, you gotta stop it from going into Las Vegas. I've already called the military to evac the city." Jack informed Optimus Prime.
"If it is firepower we need, then we have just that, and more." Optimus Prime said before snapping his fingers. Beside the Combined Terrorcons' path, a giant rainbow portal manifests and out comes a monstrous Transformer with a massive maw, made of different construction vehicles, roaring as it swings its excavator claw at one Combined Terrorcon, slamming it into a mesa.
"Woah!" Miko yelped.
"What is that?" Raf wondered.
"Devastator. An old Decepticon war machine. It's a combiner; made of several Constructicons." C-81 explained.
"They came to be a useful asset in our war against Galvatron and his master." Optimus Prime added.
They witness Devastator shredding the Combined Terrorcon's arm with their turbine-like mouth before being taken away by the two other Combined Terrorcons and is pinned to the floor. Emerging from two more portals are a humanoid Decepticon combiner made of military vehicles, firing a salvo of missiles at the Combined Terrorcons, and a flying Autobot combiner made of military aircraft, carpet-bombing the desert and the Combined Terrorcons, freeing Devastator.
"Woo! Yeah, now we're talking!" Miko cheered on.
"Superion and Bruticus Maximus: they are later Combiners made by the Autobots and Decepticons, respectively." Optimus Prime introduced.
As the Combined Terrorcons get their skidplates handed to them, they divide into smaller forms, taking on the combiners with greater numbers.
"They can't handle them on their own. We need to get in there." Bumblebee turned to Optimus Prime, and at that moment, three other Autobots emerge from the portal.
The tallest is a white robot with a helmet bearing a red chevron, and a walrus moustache-like accessory on their face, bearing parts of an offroad ambulance, the bulbar composing his chest armour.
Beside him is a slightly shorter red Autobot with a scowling face, armed with giant arm-mounted cannons, taking a pickup truck as his alternate mode.
Lastly is a white Autobot standing at Bumblebee's height, with a black, horned helmet equipped with a blue triangular visor, and a coupe alternate mode with a blue racing stripe on his hood-chest.
"Wus poppin', 'Bee?" the white Autobot greeted Bumblebee.
"Ratchet, Ironhide, Jazz, it's great to see ya again." Bumblebee nodded to them.
"Huh, their Ratchet has a 'stache. Didn't know they could do that." Miko observed.
As Jazz approaches Bumblebee and Optimus Prime alongside his companions, he glares fearfully at C-81. "Uh, hey, man." Jazz waved to him meekly.
"Keeping it cool on the flipside, brother." C-81 responded dryly as Jazz scoots to Bumblebee's side.
"You brought him? Every time I see him, I get the heebies in my waist." Jazz whispered to Bumblebee.
"What're you guys doing here? We don't meet up unless…" Bumblebee asked them.
"We're going to combine again." Ironhide said, speaking in a gruff British accent.
"But the Enigma was destroyed!" Bumblebee said in surprise.
"Indeed it was, but we have found another way." Optimus Prime opens up his chest to reveal an alien device with a bronze casing etched with an alien symbol.
"What is that?" Bumblebee
"It's Nexus Prime's spark." Optimus Prime muttered.
"Nexus Prime? Is he related to Optimus?" Raf asked.
"He was one of the original Thirteen, master of combination." Ironhide explained.
"He sacrificed his life to stop Infinitus." Ratchet added.
"His death will not be in vain." Optimus Prime said mournfully. "With his power, we will stop this evil from doing any more harm."
"You kids better pay attention. This is gonna get awesome." Bumblebee told the humans enthusiastically.
"Autobots…" Optimus Prime addressed.
"Roll out!" they rallied before running off the cliff, sliding down the steep wall and transforming into their vehicle modes. As the Autobots accelerate into battle, Optimus Prime extends Nexus Prime's spark from his front grille, and Ironhide and Ratchet slow down to flank Optimus, while Bumblebee and Jazz take the lead. The spark glows brightly and emits a loud, electronic whir as cables shoot out of Optimus Prime's wheels, grappling onto his comrades surrounding him. The cables pull them towards Optimus Prime, and they fuse into him, transforming into limbs as they continue to roll across the desert floor. The Bumblebee and Jazz arms slam into the ground, launching the combined form into the air, and its body finalizes with the central component transforming into a torso that opens up to reveal Nexus Prime's spark, and Optimus Prime's head pops out, with the addition of a bigger helmet.
"Optimus Maximus, complete!" the combiner exclaimed with Optimus Prime's voice before tackling a Combined Terrorcon twice their size, knocking it into the ground.
"Did you guys see that?!" Miko pointed excitedly at the combiner.
"They combined into an even bigger robot form. I never knew they could do any of this." Raf said.
"When our Autobots left, we still had plenty of questions about Cybertronians. I wonder if we'll ever get answers to all of them." Jack commented.
Raf turns to C-81 sitting at the edge of the cliff, watching the skirmish play out. "Are you gonna go down there?"
"I'm waiting." C-81 answered.
"For what?" Raf asked, just when they witness a red portal appear in the sky, and a purple bomber jet emerges from it.
"Galvatron." C-81 stood up before turning to them. "Raf, Jack, Miko, it was a pleasure getting to know you all. This may be the last time we speak, but I hope for the best, and so should you, that we will meet again."
"Dude, you're Megatron. You can take on a cheap knockoff." Jack assured.
C-81 smiles and turns to the battle. "Miko, you're a fantastic singer, but a terrible actor." He chuckled before jumping off the cliff and transforming into S.U.V. mode.
"He knew the entire time, didn't he?" Miko said with widened eyes.
In the skies above the battle, Superion engages in a dogfight against the purple bomber, which outflies it, circling around the combiner.
"Destroy bogey." Superion stated monotonously before Galvatron transforms into robot mode, propelled by a thruster jetpack. His body is of ornate alien design, with jagged edges making up his armour, and his face looks just like C-81, but wearing a helmet with warthog horns on the sides. He produces a clawed fusion cannon from his right arm and fires at Superion before they could retaliate, shooting off their right arm, causing them to descend.
"Oh God! Oh frag!" the severed arm panicked as they transform into robot mode, a painful process due to the damage. Galvatron swoops in, eager to finish the job as he charges his weapon, but then sees a red flash coming at him from the ground. He easily dodges the beam and looks down to see C-81 driving into battle with his laser shotgun mounted on his roof.
"Megatron…" Galvatron growled before Superion slaps him while he's distracted, causing him to crash to the ground. Superion catches their missing piece, reattaches him, and resumes flight.
As C-81 drives through the battlefield, he drifts to a stop before Galvatron crashes metres before him. C-81 transforms into robot mode and readies his weapon as he approaches the smoking crater, when Galvatron swiftly rushes towards him with his axe-headed sword, cutting the shotgun in half before swinging again to strike C-81, who shields himself with his wrecking ball.
"This ends here, Galvatron!" C-81 declared.
"The only thing that will be ended here is you!" Galvatron screamed before firing his fusion cannon.
C-81 dodges out of the way and throws his mining claw into Galvatron's shoulder, but he simply brushes it off and throws it to the ground before C-81 dropkicks him.
"I won't let you hurt this planet and its humans ever again!" C-81 declared as he punches Galvatron's face repeatedly before he's thrown off with ease.
"They don't deserve to live. My Terrorcons will make sure of that." Galvatron said as he approaches C-81. As the shorter Cyebrtronian gets up, a mortar blast strikes the ground where he's standing, and he's knocked far away.
From the mesa, the three humans look to the source of the blast and see a dark grey Cybertronian standing atop another mesa; their head transformed into a large cannon. "Who's that?" Raf wondered.
"Lockdown." A young man's voice spoke from behind them. The humans turn around to see standing before a portal three individuals.
One is a young man wearing a blue shirt and dark blue shorts, and a white hat with bear ears
Beside him is a yellow English bulldog walking on two legs.
Finally, is an older, olive-skinned man with black hair tied in a bun, wearing a burgundy sweater with rolled-up sleeves with grey pants, and a pair of circular glasses.
"Looks like we came just in time." The dog spoke in a New Jersey accent.
"You'd think hanging around alien robots would desensitize you to weirdness, like talking dogs." Jack said in shock as the two come to the cliff.
"It's about time he showed his face." The young man said as he looked to the sniper.
"And you are…?" Jack asked.
"Finn."
"Jake."
"Simon."
"And we're The Voyagers." Finn said as three Transformers emerge from the portal, one resembling a headless, white Bumblebee, a yellow semi-truck-mode Transformer with an empty samurai helmet, evidenced by the hole where the eyes would be, and a headless tank-mode Transformer.
"I dunno who you guys are, but you better get outta here." Finn said before equipping a white, high-tech belt with a circular slot on the buckle.
"I'm tired of wallowing in my own sorrow. I've had enough of that for a millennium, and I don't need to spend another doing it again." Simon said to himself as he did the same.
"Head On!" they exclaimed before inserting gold bracelets into the slots, and their bodies are covered by robotic exoskeletons with opaque blue bubble helmets. Finn transforms into a white head resembling Bumblebee with a triangular visor, and Simon into a larger, grey head with a boxy shape and a blue visor. The white robot takes Finn and puts him atop its torso, the grey one does the same with Simon, then Jake unnaturally stretches his body into the head cavity of the other robot, taking control as his eyes rest in the eye-hole.
"It's good to be back in action!" Finn thrusted his fist into the air.
"We'll show Galvatron some payback after stuffing us in jars!" Jake cracked his knuckles.
"This is for you, Betty!" Simon yelled.
"What time is it?" Finn turned to his comrades.
"Adventure Time!" they yelled before jumping off the cliff.
"Wait for us!" voices shouted from the portal. The humans turn to see emerging from the portal a boxy green S.U.V. driven by a muscular woman wearing a moose-themed cowl, a white-and-purple rally car driven by a scruffy, brown-haired Irish man, a blonde man wearing a lab coat riding a red motorcycle, a green tiltrotor helicopter carrying a desert-camo Jeep, and a robotic alligator ridden by a green-skinned woman wearing hunting garbs. They pass the humans and transform into varying robot modes to slide down the mesa to join the unusual heroes.
"They've got some… interesting friends." Raf said awkwardly.
C-81 continues combating Galvatron among the stomping Combiner feet, each narrowly close to becoming a footprint in the desert floor. Due to the destruction of his laser shotgun, and his claw lost in the commotion, C-81 is left with his wrecking ball. He swings it at Galvatron, but he catches it in one hand and pulls it, bringing C-81 towards him. Before C-81 could do anything, Galvatron grabs him by his neck and raises him to the air effortlessly.
"Have you not learned from our encounters? You're a barely-animate pile of scrap: hardly an obstacle for an Agent of Unicron such as myself." Galvatron taunted.
"I know, but I fight despite those odds." C-81 said defiantly. "If I can't finish the battle, I always have friends to fall back on."
"And where are these friends?" Galvatron mocked. "The Terrorcons I have created are made to trample any army they come across, so your 'friends' are of no use." Galvatron tightened his grip on C-81's neck.
C-81 gags and tries to claw at Galvatron's massive hand, but finds it ineffective.
"Face it: it's just you and me." Galvatron taunted.
"No, Galvatron, it's never just me." C-81 smiled as something rapidly stomps towards them.
Galvatron looks to the side to see Optimus Maximus rushing at him with the Bumblebee-arm transformed into a massive plasma cannon that blasts him, freeing C-81. "Are you okay, brother?" Optimus Maximus asked C-81.
"I am. A few seconds sooner and I would have to speak through a radio snippets." C-81 responded as he rubs his neck. Optimus Maximus is soon accosted by two equally-sized Combined Terrorcons, which he immediately grabs by the abdomens and flips with them away, leaving C-81 alone with Galvatron once more.
"You may have power in numbers, but power isn't so simply gauged like that." C-81 told Galvatron as he stands up.
Galvatron aims his fusion cannon at him, but finds his shoulder pierced by a trident flying through the dust cloud, causing him to misfire and shoot a Combined Terrorcon in the back, causing it to break apart into Crystal Terrorcons that are grinded into dust by Devastator.
"Gaming Fooork!" a young Asian boy's voice screamed from the dust cloud as a boxy green Autobot with a screen face displaying a simple, yet determined face, sprints at Galvatron. Before the purple robot could react, the Autobot front flips onto his shoulders at an incredible speed and does a karate chop on his head, scrambling his circuits before taking back his trident.
"Game on, BMO." C-81 nodded to the green Autobot, who gives him a thumbs-up before running off. With Galvatron dizzied, C-81 socks him in the chin and takes his sword, but his opponent awakens in time to catch an incoming swing.
"My friends are doing this not because they have to, but they know it is the right thing to do, and that I would do the same if they were in my situation." C-81 lectured before he sees Galvatron charging his fusion cannon, to which he pulls back the sword and swings it into his knee.
"Aaagh!" Galvatron screamed as he clutches his bleeding kneecap, finding his screaming mixed with a distant war cry. Before he could turn, he's hooked by something and thrown aside with his back to the floor. He looks up to see Megaempress armed with a serrated pickaxe rested on her shoulder.
"Hands off Otosan, Nise-tosan!" Megaempress pointed to Galvatron.
Galvatron grits his teeth and gets up, but then an alligator head plunges towards his face. He grabs both jaws with his hands before it could clamp to his face, then sees a pilot light within the gullet before his vision is engulfed by flames. His fingers lip and the jaws clamp to his helmet, then throws him towards C-81's wrecking ball, crushing his back. Galvatron's vision returns, and sees a green Autobot with C-81's face, dressed in scaly armour, armed with the alligator head on his right arm, and the green-skinned woman is sitting atop his left shoulder.
"Don't you ever mess with our family!" Megaempress said as she comes to the reptilian Autobot's side.
"Galvatron, this is my son, Gnashteeth. And I believe you already know Megaempress." C-81 introduced them.
"Ahem." the woman cleared her throat.
"This is Huntress Wizard. She's Gnashteeth's guardian." C-81 added.
"I'm his mom, buckethead." Huntress Wizard corrected.
Galvatron wipes the soot off his face and growls. "Terrorcons!" he screamed before Crystal Terrorcons rain from the sky to surround Megaempress and Gnashteeth.
"We'll take care of them, won't we, otouto?" Megaempress smiled to her brother.
The younger bot smirks deviously at her. "Yes…" he spoke with a deep, refined voice before lunging at a Crystal Terrorcon, cleaving it in half with his alligator head.
"Raaagh!" Megaempress screamed as she takes on the rest of the Crystal Terrorcons, bulldozing them away from C-81 and Galvatron.
"How… how are you besting me?!" Galvatron panted in frustration.
"You may have allies and a legion of minions, but friends ascend such relationships, and with it comes a great power none can rival…" C-81 said. "The Magic of Friendship!" he pointed to Galvatron.
"Enough!" Galvatron screamed before firing his boosters to rush at C-81, slamming him into a mesa wall. "I've had enough of you, and your lectures on friendship! Won't you shut up?!" Galvatron screamed at C-81 before shooting the cliff above him, causing an avalanche.
C-81 looks at the rocks falling above, before missiles blow them up into mere pebbles. Those same missiles blow up the ground beneath Galvatron, launching him into the sky before he's slammed back into the ground by a red-and-silver flash. C-81 looks on to see a red-and-silver jet fighter marked with winged Decepticon insignias landing beside him, then transforming a tall Cybertronian with an almost bird-like face and a triangular torso, armed with missile launcher arms. "Starscream. A pleasure to see you again." C-81 spoke sincerely.
"Starscream?! You… you…!" Galvatron shouted.
"I did not come to aid you, simply for the joy of blasting someone with your face." Starscream spoke with a raspy voice.
"Then why did you bring your chamois?" C-81 teased as he pulls a patchwork rag from Starscream's back.
"H-hey!" Starscream stuttered embarrassingly as he takes the rag back. "I couldn't simply leave behind a gift presented by someone as auspicious as the Vice-President of the United States of America!" he excused before being shot in the shoulder by Galvatron, heavily damaging him, though not enough to bother him.
"That almost hurt." Starscream responded with four missiles to Galvatron, once again tossing him from where he stood.
Galvatron tries to get up, but C-81 plants his foot on his fusion-cannon-arm. "You… you made friends with Starscream?! He's nothing but a—"
"He's a lot of things. I learned that once you share friendship with someone, you'll uncover a completely different person underneath." C-81 lectured. "In other words, we gave Starscream the kindness he should've had all those years ago."
Galvatron growls and raises his other hand. "Terrorcons!" he summoned, but finds the sound of battle ceasing. As the dust cloud settles, he sees before him an army, not of Crystal Terrorcons, but Autobots, Decepticons, and friends of C-81.
"I wasn't alone, though. I never am." C-81 smiled to his friends.
"No, my army! My Terrorcons!" Galvatron cried out before C-81 tears his fusion cannon from his hand and points it at Galvatron's chest.
"Join them in extinction." He pulls the trigger, boring a hole in Galvatron's chest. Galvatron lets out a defiant roar before C-81 fires again, shattering his torso, separating his arms from his shoulders and his head from his neck. He tosses the fusion cannon aside, and everyone cheers.
"Yeah!"
"Woo!"
"Go Megatron!" the three humans cheered. "Huh, never thought I'd ever say that." Jack shrugged. Superion high-fives Bruticus before they're bear-hugged by Devastator. Optimus Maximus disengages, then Bumblebee and Jazz bump fists. Simon and Jake watch Finn dancing with a severed, hooked robot arm, flanked by BMO and the other Autobots they arrived with.
Starscream crossed his arms and scoffed. "I would've done it faster."
As C-81 gets off Galvatron, Optimus Prime comes to him. "Thank you, Optimus."
"Anything for a friend, for family." Optimus Prime nodded.
Soon, one-by-one the surviving participants leave through rainbow portals back to their home universe. "Catch ya later, C!" Finn shouted to C-81 as he leaves with his trophy as his own friends stand beside him.
"This is gonna look so cool on a wall!" Jake said.
"I'd say it's a bit gruesome, but you guys do like your adventure trophies." Simon added
"Great to have the team back together again, innit?" the Irish man said to Finn.
"As if we're ever really apart, Seamus." The blonde doctor said.
"Let's just go home. I'm beat." The muscular woman sighed.
"Like E.G.G.S.?" Seamus teased before being punched in the shoulder by the woman. "Ow."
"Sorry, it was supposed to be a light tap." The woman apologized before everyone laughs and enters the portal.
"Just like old times." Finn's voice echoes as the portal closes.
Bumblebee pulls up to C-81 with Raf, Jack, and Miko. "That was so cool!" Miko scrambled excitedly to C-81.
"That's gotta be the hugest battle we've ever seen!" Raf said.
"Don't worry about Vegas, Agent Roadblock assured nobody saw it." Jack said as Bumblebee transforms into robot mode. He goes to Galvatron's corpse and picks up the fusion cannon.
"He'll be back. He's a purple guy, after all." Bumblebee chuckled.
"You say that as if it means something." C-81 said before noogiying Bumblebee.
As the humans smile at them, Optimus Prime faces C-81. "C-Eighty-One, it's time for us to leave. Will you join me?" Optimus Prime offered his hand.
"Sorry, but I'm still not ready to set foot on Cybertron just yet." C-81 declined. "Besides, I can't just leave my new friends right after we met."
"Very well." Optimus Prime retracted his hand as a portal opens beside him. "Until we meet again, brother."
As Optimus Prime leaves with Ratchet, Ironhide, and Jazz, Starscream comes to his side. "Lord High Protector, about that pardon…" he said as they disappear.
"With that done, what shall we do now?" C-81 asked.
"Let's get some shuteye. It's been a long day." Jack yawned.
"It's past my curfew! Mama's gonna flip!" Raf panicked.
"Then let's dash back to Jasper." Bumblebee said before transforming into vehicle mode.
"Let's make it a race." C-81 said before he transforms.
"I missed this." Miko smiled before she and her friends enter C-81. They hit the gas and drive away from the canyon, leaving the battlefield behind.
When midnight finally descends, a heavily-damaged, one-armed Cybertronian limps to Galvatron's corpse, pulling back their battle mask to reveal a scowling, purple-eyed face. "A shame." he spoke with a gruff British accent.
A red portal opens up behind him, and emerging from it is a colossal Cybertronian with unusual anatomy, featuring a tall head with writhing frills, and eight-fingered hands. "Galvatron, you were supposed to be one of my best. Here you are: a pile of scrap made by a pile of scrap."
"Ironic." Lockdown commented as the tall Cybertronian rests his hand on his shoulder, and a new arm regrows from metal shards pouring from the stump.
"Rise, Galvatron. Your work isn't finished yet." The Cybertronian holds out his hand to Galvatron's corpse, and its eyes glow purple once more.
"The same goes for you, Martin." Lockdown said as he opens his chest to reveal an unconscious, middle-aged man with a messy brown beard, wearing a tattered red leotard shackled inside him.
THE END
