Missing Mermaid

Cleo and Rikki were having a mermaid race. Cleo went on what she thought was a "shortcut" at the time, she soon discovers that she is in a more public swimming area. If she would have stopped to see where she was she would've turned back, but she didn't. What happens to Cleo? How will the others react when they find out there is a missing mermaid?

3. Chapter 3

I'm SO sorry I haven't updated! I don't really have an excuse except I forgot about this story! Anyways there will be another one up soon! And to clear things up about this chapter, its set in season 2 but Bella still exists! Only the gang doesn't hang out with Bella really anymore.

Cleo's POV:

I felt so dizzy, I could see the walls. They were all glass. My eyes finaly foucsed in as I realized I was in a large tank.

"HELP!" I screamed, but my words just came out as gurgles. I was underwater trapped - Suddenly a doorknob in the room outside my tank turned. Fear rushed through my viens, my adrenalin levels raised higher than ever before. I was about to meet my fear, my worst nightmere, my kidnapper. The door slammed open as a girl walked through.

"So sleeping beauty finaly awoke!" Snarled A familair voice. I swam to the top of my tank realizing there was a level of air at the top.

"Charrlote!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Why yes, it is. Finaly you can pay for making me loose what I loved the most. Lewis and lets not forget being a mermaid. Maybe now it's your turn to suffer." She replied coldly.

I sank back down into the water knowing any words wouldn't help my situation. I saw a blond girl walk into the room.

"Do you need any help with the thing in the tank yet?" She asked.

"No Bella, I'll tell you when I need your assistance!" She ordered.

My eyes narrowed. "Bella!?" I exclaimed. Why are you helping her?

Not only my old enemy Charrlote Watsford had me captured, but Bella, who I thought was a friend, was helping her. I hoped as hard as I knew how that Lewis, Emma and Rikki would find me.

Emma's POV 30 minutes before Cleo's POV:

Rushing wind passed by me from head to toe. Lewis, Rikki and I were searching for Cleo. She had to be somewhere, I just knew it. I rose my finger to press on the pearl white doorbell at the setori's house. Lewis and Rikki were following close behind. The door opened to Kim

"What do you want?" Kim asked rudely

"Have you seen Cleo?" I asked polietly, ignoring her rudeness.

"Why would I have seen her? I'm not her babysitter! Now I have somewhere to be!" Kim yelled out as she rushed past us.

"Erm, is it just me or was that weird? I mean more than the usual Kim." Rikki asked us.

"A little..." Replied Lewis

"Maybe we should follow her - see what she's up to" I suggested.

"It's worth a try I suppose. Though I doubt were going to find anything having to do with Cleo" Rikki half- heartedly aggred.

Lewis made a quick dash after Kim, obviously desperate for any chance to find Cleo. My feet slapped against the cement as I ran after them. I heard Rikki sigh and then follow.

Rikki's POV:

We had been following Kim for a while, and who says she's even leading us to anything? I sure hope this is worth it! Kim walked into Rikki's cafe and sat in a both with - Bella?! I glanced at Emma and Lewis who seemed equally confused. We never really hung out with Bella anymore but why would she be meeting with Kim? Kim talked to Bella for a minute and I tried to read Bella's expression. I was expecting confusion or disgust. Nope. What I saw was a smirk matching the one on Kim's face.

Alright! I'm getting a bit tierd of this story so there may not be an update for a couple weeks. But don't frett! I'm starting a new story soon! -h2o42
