Here are some super short drafts I never finished (They're under 500 words each, so I decided to put them all in one chapter)
Slime City
In an ordinary bus full of ordinary kids, an ordinary red headed girl with a long ponytail sat looking at her phone in her hands. The girl, known as Abby Archer, was in deep concentration as the bus rattled on around her. On the seat horizontal to hers sat her brother, Ty, a black-haired boy with an expression of pure enthusiasm as he looked out of his seats window. He was clearly enjoying the whole experience, even if the bus hadn't gotten to its ultimate destination yet.
"Andy ANDY! We passed a water tower! Look!" Ty grinned enthusiastically as he pointed towards said tower standing tall outside. His seat mate, (said Andy in question), was looking instead at Paige. The blonde was chatting her head off as her friends listened to her every word.
"Yeah Ty it's super cool..and pretty.." Andy remarked, wiping a bit of drool from his lips. Ty only sighed at his friends behavior and resumed his scouting. Of course he had a crazy crush on Naomi but his was reasonable. Paige wasn't even nice.
The other students on the bus were either talking to one another or staying in their own world. In the seat in front of ty, Pat leaned over and remarked on the water towers excellent design while Roger was staring intently at both of the Archer siblings as he scribbled things down in a notebook. Farther in the buses front, Naomi and her friends were planning on which attractions to visit while Kent and his jock buddies played dodgeball with a crumpled up piece of paper.
Abby looked up from her phone and gazed out the window. The entirety of Ringworm Jr high was traveling in buses to a theme park called Slime City, a place Abby hadn't been to in forever.
Unfinished Villain OC Story
Darkness surrounded Ringworm city as nighttime approached. Only the noise of televisions on display alerted civilians. A crowd of people peered at the large HD screens, the price tags reading numbers of ridiculous amounts. Some football game was on display, until the screens suddenly flickered.
"Awww.." said a young boy who was watching the game, "Now I won't get to see how the game ends.."
His mother only patted his head and grabbed his hand, starting to pull him away. Then the screens suddenly flickered back on. But this time, there was no football game. Only a black and white spiral drawing the crowd in closer.
Everyone went still from the hypnotizing screen, before maniacally laughter rang through the streets and a tall figure's shadow was seen on the wall.
...
"Alright, Lean in a bit closer now. Tell me which letters you see."
Ty Archer looked at the small letters on the chart. Of course, he could see them perfectly fine and rang out with his answers.
"E, F, J, Y, Z"
"Perfect!" Dr. Cornea clapped her hands. "Your vision is excellent and your eyes are healthy!"
Ty flashed a signature grin and hopped off the optometrist's chair. He was never nervous when it came to appointments of any kind, and strolled through them with ease. As he walked out of the door, he watched as Abby leaned on the side with a smirk.
"So let me guess... 20/20 vision?"
Nightmare
She's walking down the school hallway when something strikes her the wrong way.
Turning around and seeing nothing unusual, Abby huffed and continued on despite now forgetting why she was even here in the first place. There's no clock on the walls, and Abby raised an eyebrow and headed back the way she came.
The lockers seems eerily clean and unused, while the lack of students doesn't help to ease the atmosphere. Where was everyone? Abby felt the urge to call out as she finally spotted a familiar face a few feet in front of her
For the first time in quite possibly her whole life, relief swept through Abby as she saw Paige standing still with her arms crossed. Running towards the girl, Abby stopped in her tracks when she noticed something off.
Her beret seemed to hide her eyes, and entire body and outfit was a discolored blue. Like an automatic robot, a smile cracked on Paige's face as he neck tilted with a slight snap.
"Well well, if it isn't little miss freak!" The words were typical of Paige, but Abby felt a chill at the way they were spoken. The voice wasn't Paige's, at least not entirely. Distortion coated her words as she put a hand to her mouth to giggle.
