Tai Lung POV (after KFP)

After all those damn years of training, so many broken ribs, bloody knuckles, entire nights of tireless training... And that lazy, paunchy panda gets to become Dragon Warrior?

This is unheard of, it's unacceptable! I curse Shifu! And I curse all the inhabitants of the Valley of Peace!

Wait... This is not the valley of peace. It's a different, ethereal place. I feel as if my body has no weight. I remember that panda… I was fighting him, and he suddenly grabbed my finger…. The Wuxi Finger Hold! The legend was true, it is indeed possible to do it...

That just means... I'm in the spirit realm.

It never really interested me, but Oogway and Shifu talked about this place a lot. It's a kind of astral plane where people ascend when they reach enlightenment. Or something like that, I never really cared. what mattered to me was achieving physical and mental perfection. So instead of killing me, what the Panda did with the Wuxi hold was sending me to the spirit realm? Pathetic.

Anyway, if that panda thinks he got rid of me, he's dead wrong. Sooner or later I'm going to find my way out of this damn place. No matter how long it takes me, I'm going to get out of here, go back to the Valley of Peace, and slaughter that fat, flabby, ridiculous, pathetic panda until he relinquishes his dragon warrior title to me!

Tai Lung POV, some time later (During KFP2)

I don't know for how long I've walked. Weeks? Months? Years? In this place there is no way to distinguish the passage of time. And yet my legs don't feel sore from walking. I don't feel hungry, I don't feel like sleeping. No matter how far I walk, I feel like I'm not getting anywhere, and the more I plan my revenge, I feel something inside me getting heavier, making it take even longer for me to move.

Still, my will remains intact: I am returning to the Valley of Peace to reclaim what is rightfully mine. I must... I must prove to the whole world that I am the pinnacle of Kung Fu, that there is no warrior on earth who can defeat my mighty style of Kung Fu.

Suddenly, a pair of huge green blades headed towards me. Always alert, I managed to avoid the blades, but I couldn't avoid the punch that sent me flying a couple of feet away. When I managed to stand up, I saw a huge buffalo with high horns and long hair, with an intimidating look and a huge and stocky body.

"I thought there was no one else in the spirit world..." I told her, while putting on a defensive pose.

"Oh look... the kitty is confused!" The individual replied in a mocking tone. "My name is Kai, and I am the mightiest warrior of all time."

"Oh yeah? Well, I'm the real dragon warrior, so you have to be careful who you attack." I threatened him. Turns out any overgrown cow thinks is at the same level as me, just for landing a surprise attack.

"In any case, I don't care. I can feel your chi flowing through your body, and it's not that strong...but it will be enough for me to start my revenge," he replied. Not only had he ignored my threat, now it turned out that Kai wanted to use me for his own revenge ploy? No way!

And so, our fierce battle began. He didn't deserve an answer from me, just my fists to teach that arrogant asshole a lesson. And yet the arrogant asshole was too quick for someone his size. When I least expected it, I had been caught by the neck against a huge rock.

"Trust me, this isn't going to hurt…" was the last thing he said. His green eyes shone brightly, as my body began to turn into jade. Little by little I felt how my nerves were shutting down, how my fur was fading, my senses stopped working, and my brain was shutting down forever.

I thought it would be death...

Tai Lung POV, After KFP3

...Until I came back to my senses. again, I didn't know how much time had passed, I only knew that my chi had been controlled and manipulated by Kai. But finally I was back, my body was no longer jade and my senses worked perfectly, although I still felt a little sleepy.

"Looks like you took a long nap." A peaceful voice said towards me.

I turned to the nearest tree, and in its shadow was none other than Oogway, the tortoise: the former master of the Jade Palace.

As soon as I saw him, a blind rage took over me, leaping at him with all the willingness to use my claws and fangs to tear him apart, however my attacks never made contact with his body.

"Oh, wow…it seems like you are still filled with anger. You can keep attacking me, if that makes you feel better." He told me, in a calm and peaceful way. Was he making fun of me?

"You damn senile and stubborn turtle! For what reason did you deny me my destiny? For what reason did you deny me the dragon scroll?" I claimed him. I found that my attacks just went through him: his spiritual force was much greater than he expected.

"Aaah, well. It just wasn't your destiny to be the dragon warrior." he replied simply, shrugging. "To be honest, I did consider it, but..."

"BUT!?" I yelled at him, desperate. I demanded answers, DESERVED answers.

"...I told you no. I wanted to see how you reacted. If you had waited 10 minutes without throwing a massive tantrum throughout the valley, then I would have let you be the dragon warrior. It was actually a test...but I'm afraid to say you didn't pass it."

...I was speechless. After all this time, the real culprit who ruined his chance to be the dragon warrior had been myself.

"Then let me try again. Let me prove that I can still be the dragon warrior!" I pleaded with him, still somewhat annoyed.

"And what good is that, dear boy?" Oogway replied calmly. We are in the spiritual plane, your body no longer exists. I can give you the title, but what good would it do you?"

"Oogway... master Oogway..." I begged him. "I need another chance, to prove that I am worthy of the title."

"Hmmm..." The tortoise began to think. Despite all the damage Tai Lung had done, there was a chance that he could redeem himself. "You can't go back to the Valley of Peace. They already have their own dragon warrior (And a pretty powerful one, even if you still don't believe it.) But there is another place."

"Anything. I WILL DO ANYTHING, to prove myself." I insisted. If there was a way to prove myself, that would be the best time.

"In that case... I wish you the best of luck, Tai Lung. Though your name won't be the same where you're going" Oogway finally sentenced, extending one of his turtle claws towards my body.

"Wait, what do you mean..." I started to say, not knowing that those would be my last words. This time, I felt how my body disappeared in a powerful beam of light, while my essence moved between dimensions and time and space...

Mustafu, Japan

"Leave me alone!" Said Izuku Midoriya

"Leave me alone!" Izuku Midoriya said. "What did I do to them?"

As usual, Izuku was being beaten by his classmates, while the others grabbed him by the shoulders and arms so that he couldn't run away.

"You made me look bad with the teacher!" Katsuki Bakugo shouted, who punched him in the abdomen. "Why did you have to correct my answer, huh? Do you think you're better than me?"

"C-Of course not K-kachan!" the green-haired boy replied, taking another punch to the stomach.

"And stop calling me that, you fucking nerd! You're the only one who won't stop calling me that stupid nickname!" he confronted him, while the other companions scoffed. With one last push, Katsuki left izuku on the floor, covered in bumps and bruises.

"You better not even think about being a hero, damn Deku, you don't have what it takes" she spat in the green-haired man's face, before leaving with the other companions.

After a few minutes, Izuku struggled to his feet and headed towards the school exit.

Izuku had been born without superpowers, while all of his classmates and most of society had them. The doctor had said that there was very little chance that he would develop a power, but still he did not lose hope.

He didn't want to go home right away, his mom would ask him about the bruises and the blood on his uniform, so he decided to go for a walk. And while walking inside an alley, Izuku discovered a strange stone that fell from the sky right in front of him.

"Wow...so cool!" Izuku said as he bent down to pick up the stone. Not only was it very good quality jade, but a kind of tiger or other feline was carved into the stone. "That's great! With some string you should be able to make a pretty cool necklace!" As soon as he touched it, the stone shimmered slightly. Izuku put it in his pocket and continued on his way.

Hours later, and after managing to hide the bruises from his own mother, Izuku was in his room, where he finished making the necklace with the stone he had found. "It looks amazing. I'm sure this amulet will bring me good luck" He said, hanging the amulet. Izuku yawned, it was already late and he needed his hours of sleep. "I hope tomorrow everything will change..." he He said, before going to bed and falling asleep.

The full moon shone in the sky, as the clock chimed to indicate midnight, and young Izuku was sleeping peacefully in his bed. Suddenly, the green stone that rested against the young Midoriya's chest shone brightly again, before being absorbed into his chest. The greenish glow spread throughout the boy's body, which was beginning to experience a sudden transformation...

Meanwhile, Izuku had a very particular dream. He was in a kind of cave, located in a huge mountain that had been converted into a prison. In the deepest part of the cave, tied by both arms, and wearing an immobilizing armor, was some kind of anthropomorphic leopard.

At that, a wooden elevator lowered a huge guard, an anthropomorphic rhinoceros in armor. "Wow wow wow... What do we have here? The kitten still doesn't move" The guard said, mocking the prisoner. "Was it worth it? All the crimes you committed, all the people you hurt, was it worth it?" Said the rhinoceros, but the leopard did not answer.

"You know, I don't care if you answer me or not." The guard rubbed him in the face. "Unlike you, when my shift is over I will return to the surface, with my lovely family, sleeping in my warm bed. While you rot for the rest of your life in this dank, dark prison ."

As was customary, the guard walked to Tai Lung's back, raised his paw, and stomped hard on the cat's long tail. Tai Lung barely reacted, having complete control over the pain in his body. Still, the guards were betting how much pain he could take before he cracked.

"That's what I thought." The Guard was heading for the elevator. "Criminals like you? They never learn, they never change. Now it's your turn to suffer here for the rest of eternity." The rhino got on the elevator, but before he pulled the lever, Tai Lung opened his eyes, startling the rhino.

"WAKE UP NOW! WAKE UP!" the leopard yelled at the top of his lungs.

"What the hell…" the guard said, while, from being completely still, the leopard fought against his restraints with all his might.

"WAKE UP, IZUKU MIDORIYA! WAKE UP!"

Still lying on his bed, Izuku woke up with a start. Although his eyes were open, his entire body felt sleepy. "I shouldn't have eaten so much" Izuku said in his head.

"Izuku, time for breakfast!" His mother, Inko, called him. Still sleepy, Izuku got up from his bed, barely noticing that his slippers were too small for his feet. Most likely he would need to buy new ones.

On instinct, Izuku headed towards the bathroom to freshen up, yawning louder than usual and stretching. At that point his eyes focused on the mirror, but his brain was slow to process what he was seeing... In the reflection, there was a tall, musclebound and manly snow leopard with a protuding lower jaw, yellow and menacing eyes, silky grey fur with black spots, and a pair of feline ears showing in the middle of green hair.

HIS GREEN HAIR.

And then, the realization hit Izuku...
