Hi, I'm back and with a funny part as well.

Rilla woke up the next morning earlier than usual. She had spent the rest the day before learning the scent of mouse, and could now pick up the scent easily. She actually scented mouse right now. So she tracked it to a corner. There was a black mouse looking for food. She pounced and was about to killed it when it put its paws up and squeaked, "No! Please don't kill me!" Rilla stopped, surprised that the mouse talked. "You can talk?" She asked, which was a bit stupid since it was so obvious. "Obviously. And you're positive that you won't kill me?" He asked, and Rilla nodded. "But only if you'll help me with my prank." The kitten said and the mouse nodded in turn. "Okay, and, by the way, what's your name?" He followed Rilla towards the table. "Rilla, yours?" She responded and jumped from the floor to the chair to the table. "Josh." The mouse followed Rilla up onto the tabletop and stood on his hind legs. "So what's the plan?" Josh asked. Rilla looked at him. "How long can you hold your breath?"

Will woke and hurried to dress. Then as he went to make breakfast, he noticed Rilla sleeping adorably on the table. Will smiled then continued with cooking breakfast.
Rilla heard Halt and Will come in. Then she heard Alyss come out. "Hello Halt, 'morning Will." The courier greeted them as she made her tea. Rilla liked her choice of drink because it smelled good. She watched Alyss through slitted eyes as she brewed her red tea and stuck three peppermints in it and two spoons of cinnamon and four of sugar. (Exactly what I'm drinking except I used neon pink food coloring on the tea and I'm not sure how many spoons of sugar) Rilla purred loudly as Alyss's soft hand brushed across her fur. She then left with her tea to attend her business at the castle. Will sat down and handed Halt a mug of coffee then drank from his own. Bark! Bark-arf-arf-arf!Grrrrr-bark!ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-ARF!-Arooo! Ebony chased the poor bird around the inside of the cabin. "Ebony!" Will tried to reprimand the collie but failed, and moved to open a window, getting run down by the dog in the process. Rilla stretched, whispering quietly to the little ball of fur clinging to her side, "'Bout to sniff the coffee." She walked in front of Will's cup a slightly warm drink, curled around it, blocking the humans view of the mug and purred, which was Josh's signal to drop into the mug. Rilla backed up and meowed loudly, causing Ebony to sit on the floor, ignoring the bird. Will stood quickly, and opened the window, allowing the bird to fly outside. Will sat back in his chair and picked up his mug, taking a long draft of coffee, only to spit it back out when he felt something slide into his mouth. A black mouse landed on the table. Halt and Alyss laughed, and even Rilla seemed to laugh too. "Damn it!" Will swore, and tried grabbing for the mouse only to have Rilla jump up and cover the mouse with her body. Rilla growled a little when Will's hand came near, then picked up the mouse in her mouth, and carried over to the fireplace. "That's almost like she had planned that whole thing out." Alyss commented, cleaning up the spilt coffee, picking up Will's mug at the same time. "She seems to have a sense of humor at least." Halt replied, moving his own mug out of Alyss's way. "Mmhuh, she certainly does." She said, still smiling. "Why don't you let her and Eb out Will?" Alyss said, giving Will a look, and he winced slightly but obeyed, shooing the animals out, giving Rilla and the mouse a glare.
"That was awesome, did you see his face, Ebony? It was hilarious!" Rilla meowed, laughing as she remembered what had happened. "It was funny." Ebony replied, stretching. Josh stared at Ebony and Rilla, muttering something about crazy pets. "So what else can we do today?" Rilla asked, pawing the melting snow. "I don't know, but I want to be dry before I do anything else." Josh complained, jumping back from the slush, and started cleaning his black fur. "Well, I'm gonna play in the snow before it goes." Rilla huffed before jumping into the snow, splashing water, snow, and slush around, meowing happily.

A/N: Hey guys, hope you liked the chapter, I certainly did. Sadly, the next chapter will happen in when Rilla's full-grown and no longer a kitten, but there will be in between chapters from when she was still young, so don't worry about missing out on her adorableness when you read the seriousness parts. Bye!
