In this fanfic Naruto gets sent back in time and saves Obito. he is both Ashura and Indra's reincarnation, so he gets both halves of Hagoromo's chakra he gets all of Kurama's chakra he is also smarter and stronger than normal this is the first fanfic I've ever made so the first chapter is short

Naruto could only recall what happened as he was knocked out and about to die. There he was fighting Kaguya alongside Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi then Kaguya turned into a weird rabbit monster thing. Sakura was frozen in fear while one of Kaguya's arms was coming straight at her Kakashi started sprinting to save her, but he was to slow and both Kakashi and Sakura were crushed. Kaguya then started sending her arms after Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto ran away from and dogged Kaguya's arms while Sasuke summoned his susanoo but it was too late, and part of Kaguya's arm got stuck in it and Kaguya started swinging her arm around and started charging up a tailed beast bombs Sasuke started to release his susanoo right as Kaguya launched a tailed beast ball at him when it hit Sasuke was killed and part of Kaguya's arm was destroyed. After that all of Kaguya's arms started chasing after Naruto while all of her heads started launching tailed beast bombs at him, he dodged all of the bombs but some of Kaguya's arms hit him, and he passed out about to die from his injuries. Naruto wakes up in his mindscape. "Who are you old man?" Naruto asked the old man who was levitating in front of him.
"Kit, how dare you call father that!" Kurama roared.
"I am Hagoromo Otsutsuki better known as the sage of six paths you are the reincarnation of both of my sons Ashura and Indra I will give you all of my chakra including my dojutsu and Kurama will bring you back in time," stated Hagoromo.
"Yes father," Kurama agreed reluctantly. Kurama started weaving hand signs faster than the eye could see. The sewer they were in started to disappear and Naruto with Kurama was sucked back in time
Naruto woke up in a forest clearing 'where are we Kurama I mean when are we and why do I have red hair?' Naruto asked as his memories came rushing back to him.
"Kit I have brought you back to the past directly after Obito was crushed by the rocks so go to the cave you should know where it is from Obito's memories," Kurama said.
'You didn't tell me why I have red hair Kurama,' Naruto complained.
"It isn't important kit now get going," Kurama answered. Naruto rushed through the forest, came across a huge collapsed cave, and used a Rasengan to break through the rubble. Obito slowly emerged.
"AHHHHHHHH!" Obito screamed as he charged at Naruto running on only adrenaline while still confused about how he was alive and fell. Naruto sprinted and caught Obito.
"Gotcha, don't worry It's okay I'm not going to hurt you Obito," Naruto whispered, patting Obito's head trying to calm him down. Naruto quickly put Obito on the ground so he could calm down.
"How am I alive, who are you and how do you know my name?" Obito mumbled Naruto realized he messed up right after Obito said that.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki I have no idea how you survived and I heard your friends say your name," Naruto swiftly answered. Naruto was going to tell him that he would take him back to where he came from.
right before he could Kurama interjected "Kit Don't take him back heal him so he doesn't have to watch his friends die,"
'Ok Kurama' Naruto agreed
"Can I go back to the hidden leaf village?" asked Obito
"No Obito do you want to watch your friends die while you are just sitting in the hospital doing nothing?" Naruto asked.
Obito thought it over and said, "No I don't can I come with you?" Obito asked.
"Okay I will help you until you are fully healed and go to the leaf with you," Naruto said
"where are we going?" asked Obito
"There is a town close by I will have my shadow clones work jobs while I take care of you," Naruto said
Naruto bandaged up Obito and healed him the best he could with his knowledge. Naruto and Obito set off to the town where Naruto's clones took jobs as fishermen, cooks, and construction workers. Naruto went to the shops and bought tents, kunai, shuriken, sleeping bags, food pills, a lantern, a lighter, torches, a big backpack, some miso soup, sushi, and water. Naruto went back to where Obito was. "Here Obito have some food," Naruto said.
"Thanks for the food, Naruto," Obito said happily. Naruto and Obito ate, and Naruto's clones put up the tents after they finished Naruto sensed some chunin level shinobi when they came by, they thought that Naruto and Obito were enemies, so they started to charge at them with kunai and Naruto picked up his kunai and disarmed them he gave off some of his ki at them
"Leave me and my friend alone or else," Naruto said, upset. They all listened and ran away scared. Naruto felt his left eye hurting and he wondered what it was so he pumped chakra into it to try and make it stop but it activated the sharingan with a whirlpool pattern 'Obito was shocked that Naruto had the sharingan because he was not an Uchiha and Naruto must have not known he had it because then he heard.'
"Obito, why am I seeing differently?" Naruto asked.
"Naruto you unlocked the sharingan but only in one eye and it has a weird whirlpool pattern," Obito said.
"kit you have the eternal mangekyo sharingan just don't use it on me and I will help you train," Kurama said
"Obito, I unlocked a type of sharingan better than the three tomoe sharingan. It's called the mangekyo sharingan," Naruto said.
"that's impossible there's no sharingan better than the three tomoe and how could you have one?" Obito asked
"I have no idea Obito a friend told me about the mangekyo they were an Uchiha but they had a better version of it called an eternal mangekyo sharingan because with the normal mangekyo you will go blind from using it and I unlocked the eternal mangekyo sharingan," Naruto said.
authors notes: Naruto's eternal mangekyo will have all of the known mangekyo abilities also from now on I will just call it ems or sharingan so yeah if you don't like it just deal with it.
