15 minutes later, and Kurt and Blaine were happily skating about together again. They laughed and sang and danced on the ice. They finished another song and fell together, laughing.

Blaine felt Kurt shiver against him. He frowned. "You ok baby?"

Kurt nodded "Ya. I'm ok. Just a little chilly...and out of breath. Would you mind if I went to go sit with Reed for a bit? I think I need a little break."

Blaine smile warmly at him "Of course baby. Wouldn't want you hurting yourself. You go rest. I'll skate around with Shane for a bit."

Kurt grinned, leaning in to plant a soft kiss on Blaine's lips.

Blaine sighed into the kiss, placing one hand on the small of Kurt's back, holding his boyfriend's gloved hand with the other.

Kurt felt his body fill with a warmth he only found with Blaine. He was still physically cold, but inside he was warm all over. His hand held Blaine's as the other worked its fingers shyly through his boyfriend's hair.

They were lost in their own little world together.

The moment was broken as another shiver made its way through Kurt's body.

Blaine pulled away slowly "Alright. Go sit and warm up. The last thing we need is you ending up like Dwight. As much as I love you, I'm not to keen on having a blue boyfriend."

Rolling his eyes, Kurt nodded and skated away towards Reed.

Blaine skated over towards his brother. "Hey! Shane!" He called

Shane turned around and smiled at his brother "Hey B! What's up?"

Blaine stopped in front of him. "Kurt's taking a little break, so I thought it'd be fun to skate with you for a bit."

Shane nodded "Sounds good to me. Hey! Wanna see a move I've been working on?"

Blaine smiled his brother "Sure bud."

Shane skated farther out on the ice. He got up speed before launching himself into the air. He got his legs into a near perfect aerial splits. He spun slightly in the air before pulling his legs back together quickly and landing. He wobbled slightly when he hit the ice, but kept his balance.

Blaine laughed and clapped. "NICE!"

Shane beamed in pride and skated back to his brother "Thanks. It still needs a little work before it's perfect, but I've practiced for a while now and I think it's coming along really well."

Blaine smiled "Looks to me like you've almost got it."

Shane nodded "Ya. Once I get this move..."

"It's on to the next challenge." Blaine finished for him

Shane chuckled. "Yup. Oh! Let's race around the lake!"

Blaine bit his lip nervously "ALL the way around?"

Shane nodded "Ya. Why? You think it's to big for us to make it?"

Blaine shook his head "No. I mean, it's big, yes. But that's not what I'm worried about. The dean warned us that the lake isn't fully frozen yet. The ice in some places is really thin."

Shane scoffed "Oh, come on B! Just a few laps around the edge. Please? We'll be careful."

Blaine thought about it. He finally nodded "Ok. I guess we should be fine. Just don't do anything to fancy. Don't wanna push it."

Shane saluted "Aye aye Captain Blaine!"

Blaine rolled his eyes. "Alright. 3 laps around the lake. Loser buys the winner and his boyfriend coffee for a month. Deal?"

Shane nodded "Deal. Ok. On your mark...get set...GO!"

They two brothers laughed as they sped off across the ice.
