Félix and Pepa walked quietly through their little town, not a single unusual sound beside the boisterous chatter of villagers. Somewhere along the way, Camilo, Dolores and Antonio had run off to do something the couple didn't want to know about. They knew most likely Dolores was with Lisia and Isabela, and Antonio probably went to meet up with the town kids, but they had no idea about their middle child, Camilo.
It seemed that they had maybe trusted Camilo too much, when one of the town seniors came up, complaining about their boy playing tricks on the village elders and mocking them, as well as scaring the younger kids. Félix and Pepa looked at each other.
"Where is he?" Pepa wondered as her and Félix went to where Camilo had last been seen
They passed him on the way, entertaining a group of children with outrageous and scary stories, ones that weren't meant for little Félix. Pepa and Félix walked up behind them. Felix looked to his wife for permission before doing anything, she gave a short nod and he turned back to their older son angrily.
Camilo hadn't heard them at all but he could tell something was up when his audience's attention shifted to looking behind him.
Before he could look to see why, Félix's hand smacked down against his ear, then grabbed Camilo by the ear and pulled him up.
"Ow! Oh, oh, ow" Camilo followed his dad's lead, scrambling to his feet as quickly as possible.
Félix looked at him sternly. Suddenly the crowd parted and Abuela came through. Camilo realized she had seen Camilo mocking the village elders, she might have even been one of the ones he did it to.
"I knew it was you! When the whole village comes crying to me about a little boy with transformation powers." Abuela glared at Camilo and he blushed in embarrassment at her scolding tone.
"Apologize to your grandmother now" Pepa motioned to her mother and Camilo kept his eyes down until Félix gave a little twist to his ear
"I apologize, Abuela. I was rude and disrespectful" Camilo looked up a little. Abuela hmmphed, not satisfied with the half hearted apology
Abuela looked sternly at Camlio and Félix looked at his son.
"We'll be going back now. We'll have to finish the shopping later" Pepa explained to Félix and Abuela went on with her day
Félix nodded, he hadn't let go of Camilo as he marched Camlio towards the house.
"Papa let go" Camilo tried pulling Félix's hand off him, His papa just tightened the grip he had on Camilo's ear, making Camilo give an undignified cry of pain
"Félix, let go of him. Your going to hurt him" Pepa took sympathy on her older boy
"He did wrong Pepa" Félix responded looking at Pepa
Félix was mad about the disrespect Camlio shown to the village elders and his mother in law.
"And he will be punished but not by giving him a sore ear" Pepa reminded her husband as Félix sighed letting Camlio's ear go
Camilo said nothing while his parents talked. Félix knew Pepa wanted to talk, he could tell by the way she was acting.
"Camilo, go to your room." Félix pointed to the stairs. Camilo was surprised by this, he knew what it meant and he also hadn't been sent to his room in a long time, none of the older kids had, that was for little kids like Antonio.
"But-" Camilo went to say something, anything, He was quickly reminded of his papa's strength when a firm hand smacked down against his butt
He was gone before anyone could say anything more, disappearing up the stairs.
"What do we do? He's a good kid Félix, why would he do something like this?" Pepa turned to her husband and Félix sighed
"I think he's testing us. We've had no reason to punish him in a while so now he's probably wondering if we still would" Félix explained as Pepa nodded, that made sense
"So what do we do? We could ground him but that doesn't seem proper for what he did" Pepa wondered as Felix made a bit of a stretch with the next part
"I'm gonna spank him," Félix announced Pepa's eyes darted to him, surprised
They hadn't done that with Camilo or Dolores in years, they were too old for it.
"Félix-" Pepa tried convincing him otherwise and Félix stopped her
"Pepa, darling. I know what I'm doing, Camilo knows better and I'm going to make sure of it" Félix went into his and Pepa's room
Félix grabbed something neither of them thought would ever be used again
"Let's talk to him together" Félix held a hand out for his wife and she followed him up the stairs.
Camilo was sitting on his bed, arms spread out behind him to support his weight. His parents entered his room. His eyes widened when he saw what his papa was holding.
"Wait!" Camlio backed away from them, Félix and Pepa didn't falter, they had to be stern with him
"Come here Camilo" Félix pointed to a spot in front of him and Pepa, Camilo looked at them with panic in his eyes
Félix looked at his son knowing his wife she couldn't be stern with Camilo but he did.
"Papa…." Camilo hoped Felix wouldn't make him and Félix looked at Camlio
"Now little boy," Félix waited while tapping his foot impatiently as Camilo let out a small whine at the derogatory name. He pushed himself up and slowly went over to his parents
Pepa and Félix could tell their son knew he was in trouble. He would've moved faster if he didn't.
"You were very disrespectful, nino" Félix cupped the boy's face once he was there forcing Camilo to look up at him
"I know. I didn't mean anything by it" Camilo looked away and Camlio sniffed
Pepa felt her heart break at the scene, This was her sweet little boy, she hated seeing him in trouble and he knew that.
"I'm sure you didn't, but you know better. Which is why I'm doing this" Félix set the belt down. Camilo eyed it, but said nothing
"Félix, wait" Pepa couldn't take it anymore. Félix looked at her
Félix knew what he had to do as a father and Pepa being a mother would protect him from the spanking.
"Mi amour, You don't have to stay. Go make sure Dolores isn't back, though she'll still hear everything, still being here will make it worse" Felix dismissed her as Pepa knew he was right so she left.
Once Pepa was gone Félix turned to Camlio angrily and disappointed in him for being so disrespectful.
"You were very naughty, young man" Félix then scolded, as it was enough to get the point across to Camilo of how much trouble he was in
Eye contact was a foreign concept at the moment Camilo did a little squirmy dance, flustered at the name.
"Your mother, I and your abuela expect the utmost respect from you to us and the town seniors, they are your elders and you must show respect to them mi hijo " Félix says taking Camilo with him towards the bed and Camlio looked at Félix
"I know papa. I'm sorry I was rude" Camilo averted his eyes as Félix sat down and made Camilo sit by him
Félix sighed hating the fact he had to do this after so many years. He couldn't let Camlio get off shot free no Camlio needed to be punished.
"I know you're sorry but this is your atonement and consequences for the mistake you made" Félix took Camilo's wrist and pulled his son to stand up
"Papa, wait! Maybe,we could discuss something else. Come to an agreement for my punishment. I can do extra chores around the casita or do more in town. I'll deliver a personal apology to the entire town and the elders" Camilo suggested, coming up with anything to get out of the impending spanking he had coming
Félix frowned seeing that Camlio was trying to escape his punishment. Félix did a fatherly look and Camilo looked at Félix.
"Camilo,don't even try" Félix warned as Camilo made the sudden decision to run. He got down the stairs and changed into someone he knew wouldn't be around and started walking back to the stairs" Isabella ,have you seen Camilo?" Félix looked at his son disguised as his niece, Camilo tried not to look nervous
"No, I haven't. Maybe check the town,he loves going there as you know" Camilo cursed when his voice cracked. Félix nodded and started to town,right at the doors he stopped and went to Camilo/Isabella'
Félix grabbed Camilo by the ear again. Camilo changed into himself from the surprise and followed along behind Félix back to his room.
"Nice try" Félix sat on the bed throwing Camilo over his knee and started the spanking on his son's ass
He was determined to make this a memorable punishment, for Camilo's mistake. He knew Camilo was feeling it, his hands kept changing shape but no other part of him did, which Félix was thankful for. It would make it harder if Camilo decided to make himself bigger.
"You know better than to show disrespect to your elders and then try to run when I punish you" Félix scolded,his hand making a memorable impression on his son's behind
Camilo whined and cried,his hands never stopped changing but he made no other move to deter the spanking.
" Papa please!" Camlio begged Félix as Felix spanked him and Félix clicked his tounge
Camlio blinked the tears away but they kept coming as his father spanked his ass. This was humiliating he was being treated like a child which he wasn't!
" This isn't fair!" Camilo says tears go down his face and Félix spanked his ass harder
" Yes it is you were being disrespectful and this is what happens to disrespectful little boys. Your lucky I'm not using the belt young man." Félix spoke sternly and Camlio sobbed as smacks rained down on his ass
Camlio trembled crying as Félix spanked him and then Félix drove the spanking to an end.
" I'm very disappointed Camlio I thought you knew better then to disrespect your elders and ran away from the punishment." Félix spoke sternly spanking his son harder and Camlio gripped his father's pants
" I do! I do Papa please! I'm sorry! m..me sorry!" Camlio sobbed feeling like a child and Félix's heart broke hearing his son
Félix gave Camlio's ass a few more swats making sure his son would never forget this lesson.
Shh mi hijo, I'm here. I'm still here. My sweet boy." Felix cradled Camilo against his chest. Camilo sobbed,letting everything out in his papa's chest. Neither of them moved for an hour.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean anything, I won't do it again Papa" Camilo promised with a sob. Felix rocked him back and forth, comforting the distraught teen
Félix smiled at Camilo then returned to his stern yet gentle face towards Camlio.
"I know you won't because if you do, I'll pull you over my knee again and use the belt" Felix warned Camilo cried harder, the thought of that scared him and he didn't want to think of it for another second" I love you ,Camilo so much but your giving me gray hair's" Felix whispered. Camilo calmed down a while later, still he didn't move." You know your grounded too right?" Felix mentioned while continuing Camilo went still, he didn't answer
"Yeah,I know. I would expect nothing less from you or mami" Camilo admitted. Felix made him get up after that. He hugged his son,comforting him further and then let go
Félix looked at his son while wiping away his tears and Camilo sniffed looking at his father.
"I will come for you when its supper time. Clean yourself up and don't leave this room" Felix opened the door and walked out,leaving Camilo alone in his giant room.
An hour or two later there was a gentle knock on the door and Félix came in again. Camilo looked at his father with tears.
"Come on. Its time to eat" Félix says ledding him out Camilo prepared himself to face the family, to face Abuela and Pepa
Really any of the adults who he knew had been informed or heard of his punishment and mistake. He took his spot in the same place as always hissing while sitting down in his chair,avoiding eye contact with any of the adults and his older cousins. The only ones he dared to look at was Antonio,Dolores,his younger sister Alexandria and Mirabel.
"Camilo,don't you have something to say to Abuela?" Félix waited until Camilo looked up at him,surely Felix didn't expect him to apologize in front of the entire family.
Félix was a patient man but his son needed to apologize to his grandmother after all his grandmother wasnt getting any younger. Félix wouldn't hesitate spanking Camlio again if Camlio decides to be disrespectful again.
" I'm sorry Abuela for being disrespectful and I promise not to do it again. " Camilo says looking at his grandmother and Abuela nodded
" Its ok Camilo. Now lets eat." Abuela says as everyone ate and then dinner was over
Camlio was fixing to help with the dishes when Félix stopped him and Camlio looked up at his father.
" Go to your room Camlio." Félix spoke sternly and Camlio sighed as he did what he was told
Being grounded sucked and Camlio couldn't leave the house since he was grounded.
