Summary: John gets a dog and Sherlock is less than pleased with the arrangement. Especially since the dog is infringing on his time with John.
Warnings: Thoughts of treating people like dogs. It happens, I suppose.
Chapter 10: Lestrade, Dog Whisperer
"It's pretty easy," Lestrade leaned towards Maddy who was sitting patiently.
Lestrade put the treat on the floor. "Just treat good behavior."
Maddy laid down to get closer to the treat. He rewarded her with the snack and a pat on the head.
Sherlock thought it all quite ridiculous.
"And ignore or punish bad behavior," Lestrade stood abruptly when Maddy tried to snatch the biscuit from his hand. He sharply stood and left the room. After a moment, Maddy turned to John.
John looked to Maddy, then Sherlock.
Sherlock glared, "Don't insult me John I'm not a dog."
