Owl House

The Owl House game has now become a chaotic reality. A dark blue sky full of tiny suns and moons acting as bright stars. Demons and witches running and hiding while others have been petrified. All seems lost in this game of chaos that appears to be a fight for survival.

The Collector floats above everyone, watching with a big smile on their face as everyone beneath them scatters trying to make sense of the game where the rules are constantly changing depending on The Collector's mood.

Amity reaches up for Luz with tears in her eyes. Desperate to save her girlfriend, she gets angry and starts making spell circles in the air to create abominations, but she's pulled back by Hunter.

"We can't save Luz right now. The Collector's too powerful. We need to retreat and find a safe place so we can make a plan." Hunter said.

Amity looks up at Luz, who looks so broken down and hopeless. Then she turns to Hunter as she wipes her tears away and gets serious.

"Okay. Let's get out of here." Amity replied.

Suddenly, The Collector notices something clinging to Hunters back as they all start running away. They zoom in on him and notice it's a small part of Belos's monster form.

"Is that my former friend Belos on your back? Well, let's use him to make this game a little more interesting." The Collector said.

The Collector shoots a tiny star out of their hand that flies towards Hunter. Hunter barely has time to turn around before he's hit and that part of Belos's monster form moves his face.

Hunter falls to his knees while Amity, Willow, and Gus just stare in horror as he starts to change. A scar similar to Belos's forms across Hunter's face and his eyes glow blue. And with a menacing grin, he quietly laughs with tears in his eyes.

"No, Hunter!" Willow said in tears.

Hearing Willow's voice, Hunter gains control for a moment, enough to warn his friends.

"Run! Get out of here! Just go now!" Hunter yelled.

Willow tries to run towards Hunter to help him, but Amity and Gus pull her back and they all start running away. They're desperate to save their friends, but they know they need to make it out of there alive first.

Amity, Willow, and Gus keep running as fast as they can. They can see Hunter behind them, catching up as they hear The Collector laughing in the background.

All of the sudden, Amity, Willow, and Gus are pulled into the bushes. They get into fighting stances to defend themselves. Then they see a little light glyph and familiar faces around them. They smile, relieved to see Eda, Raine, Lilith, and Hooty all together and alive.

Eda gestures for everyone to stay quiet and follow her. She then leads them to a small trap door in the ground and they follow her down a set of stairs. Once everyone's safe, Raine looks around and closes the trap door on their way down.

They arrive in a small underground bunker with supplies and a few sleeping bags laid out. It's the perfect place to hide from all of the chaos above while they figure out a plan.

Once things have calmed down, everyone starts hugging one another, teary eyed and relieved they're all safe and finally together again.

"I'm so glad you're all okay. We've been hiding out here for a while while we make plans but it's been challenging to figure out a way to defeat The Collector, but maybe if we all put our heads together, we can find a solution." Raine said.

Then Eda looks around and notices Luz isn't with them.

"Where's Luz?" Eda asked in a sad but serious tone.

Amity tears up and looks away. Willow puts her hand on her shoulder while Gus explains what happened.

"Luz connected with The Collector through her dreams to get us all back here. She made a deal with them where she'd be their friend forever to save us all." Gus said.

Eda tears up and sits in a chair, overwhelmed with emotions. She knew Luz would do anything to save the people she loves, but knowing Luz gave herself up to The Collector, a fate worse than death, is just too much for her to handle.

Then, to Amity, Willow, and Gus's surprise, King comes out to join everyone with a sad expression on his face.

"That's why The Collector let me go isn't it? They didn't tell me why, but it all makes sense now. They have Luz now so they don't need me anymore." King said with tears in his eyes.

Eda stands up, angry and determined but also extremely sad.

"We need to go back for Luz. I don't know how we're going to do it, but we have to save her. She's not going to last long with The Collector so we need to go now!" Eda said.

Lilith knows, like Luz, Eda will do anything to save the people she loves, even if it means putting herself in danger. So she speaks up.

"Eda, we all want to save Luz, but we need to be smart about this. If we face The Collector now, we'll all be destroyed and everything Luz did to save us would have been for nothing." Lilith replied.

"I agree. We need to think this through before rushing into things. We'll save her, we just need to be patient." Raine added.

After she's taken a moment to calm down, Eda realizes they're right and nods in agreement. Then she pulls out something from her bag. Everyone smiles as they realize it's Luz's palisman egg that she carved before they separated. Eda holds it close while King sits next to her, cherishing this small piece of Luz they still have.

"Don't worry little guy, we'll get Luz back. I promise." Eda said.

Then all of the palismen come to join in, reuniting with their owners and giving everyone some much needed hope and strength to carry on.

Hunter's palisman Flapjack realizes he's not there and looks at the ground sadly. Willow sits next to him and picks him up, holding both her little bumble bee and the cardinal close.

"Don't worry Flapjack, we'll get Hunter back and we'll all be together again." Willow said.

With that much needed morale boost from their palismen companions, everyone gathers around the table to make a plan.

Raine explains how the Owl House game is just a chaotic survival game with no set rules. The Collector's in control so they need to understand them if they're going to win the game and make it out of this alive.

"I guess to win the game, we have to figure out how people are losing." Gus said.

"That's right. The people who've become petrified are the ones who lost. I've noticed those people are forced to fight their loved ones in a battle and the one who loses is the one who surrenders first." Lilith replied.

Eda and Raine look at one another, remembering when they were young and Tara Snapdragon forced them to fight against each other in a battle of Wilds vs Covens.

"This may sound crazy, but maybe the way to win the game is to get everyone to work together to defeat The Collector instead of fighting each other. I don't know if it would work, but it's something." Raine said.

"Like how we beat Tara Snapdragon at her own twisted game back when we were kids. That's smart, but I don't know if it would work with The Collector since they have unlimited power." Eda replied.

Amity thinks for a moment, deeply missing Luz and trying to think about what she would do. Luz would try to be creative and find a way around the problem, something unexpected where she would use her heart instead of her head.

"I think we should try talking to The Collector. They are just a lonely kid. Maybe we could try reasoning with them. You know, appeal to their heart. It's something Luz would do." Amity said, smiling and tearing up a bit.

"That's a possibility, but we need a way to defend ourselves in case something goes wrong." Lilith replied, slightly skeptical.

Willow thinks about Hunter and speaks up.

"I know this is risky, but what if we convince Hunter to defend us? I know he'll protect us if we get through to him." Willow said.

"Maybe, but it's going to take a lot of willpower for Hunter to resist Belos's control. It's not going to be easy to convince him to just switch sides." Amity replied.

Eda thinks about all of these ideas and tries to come up with a creative solution. Then she thinks about Luz and knows she would dive into the situation and adapt, finding ways to solve the problem as she goes along. It's what she's always admired about Luz and how her big heart always seemed to save the day in the end.

"These are all great ideas. And, if I'm being honest, I think we should just go out there and face the problem head on. I know it's dangerous, but we can't hide away while the people we love are suffering. I say we go out there fight, protect each other, and try to appeal to The Collector's lonely heart. What do you say?" Eda asked.

With that, everyone nods in agreement. Some are still skeptical, but they can't run away from the problem anymore. So they all gather together and form a circle, putting their hands in the middle.

"Bad girl coven on three. One. Two. Three!" Eda said.

"Bad girl coven!" Everyone shouted in unison with enthusiasm.

With that everyone starts walking up the stairs together and into the unknown. They're scared and nervous, but also ready to face the danger to save the people they love. They know it's what Luz would do and they're holding onto hope it will be enough.
