Epilogue: It's A New Day.

"WAAAAAA!" The voice of Serena screaming through her house. Her family was having breakfast at the table. They all looked up as Serena was late for school, yet again. She raced to her school uniform and dressed in a flash. She raced down the stairs and out the front door without having any breakfast herself. "I'M LATE! BYE!"

(Background song begins, Sailor Moon DiC soundtrack, It's A New Day.)

She sprinted down the sidewalks of Tokyo. As she raced, Lita sprinted past her. She also sprinted past the Hikawa shrine and Rei, who was peacefully sweeping the steps of the shrine with a smile on her face.

"It's a miracle!" Artemis said happily, he and Luna were sitting on Serena's roof watching events unfold with big smiles on their faces. "Not only was the Dark Kingdom destroyed, but Eggman has been defeated once and for all!"

Luna hung her head and sighed in sadness. "I feel sorry for them though. It appears that the memories they all had together are completely gone. Not only that, Angel Island is gone, and it looks like Sonic and Tails have disappeared completely."

Artemis spoke in a warm voice to comfort her. "It's ok." Luna picked her head up hearing such a statement. "The girls can all meet one another again." Luna's eyes widened as she looked up, smiling happily.

"You're right." She sighed happily.

Serena ran past Mina who was simply standing across on the other side of the road.

Once she arrived at School, Serena and Molly looked over the rankings for a district exam. Serena sweated as she clearly ranked low, the number one student at the top was Ami, who simply walked behind Serena smiling big.

Later that day Serena was walking with Molly as she held her test with a bad mark on it.

"Ahhhhh!" She whined. "I should have studied a bit more." She grew frustrated and crumbled up the test in anger. "JUST DIE ALREADY!" She tossed the clump of paper over her head behind her and unbeknownst to her. It bounced off of Darien's head. He was dressed in a black turtleneck and a green jacket, along with his big sunglasses.

"That hurt, bun head!" Darien called out to her. He took the test and crumbled it and looked it over. The two girls looked at Darien in schock, not knowing who they bumped into. "Really? 30%?"

"NOOOOOO!" Serena panicked. At a complete stranger seeing her miserable grades.

"You really need to study harder, bun head!" Darien criticized.

"How rude!" Serena sneered as she violently snatched the test out of Darien's hand. She turned around, but not before turning back to make a mocking face at Darien. With her head hanging in shame, she walked away with Molly.

"What's with that guy anyway?" Serena grumbled.

"Strange kid." Darien said as he stared at her, removing his sunglasses. He smiled at her as he turned and walked the opposite direction.

"Hey don't you think that guy is sort of cool?" Molly asked, teasing her best friend.

"NO!" Serena objected harshly. "He's just a jerk."

Molly teased her further. "That's what you say, but who knows? You might've just met your soulmate back there."

"Ew! Cut it out!" Serena grimaced. She changed her tone, and smiled at the sky. "I have my own dream, anyway."

"A dream?" Molly inquired.

"Yup!" Serena replied. "A dream of finding a cute boyfriend, who'll come to my rescue no matter what!" All in her mind was a faint image of herself in a dress, and a man standing before her in a tuxedo.

"What about Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles?" Luna asked.

Artemis smiled and also looked into the sky. "I think it's safe to assume they returned to their home world. Who knows though, if they remember anything?"

Luna looked down but didn't lose her smile. "I wonder if we'll ever see them again?"

"There's always a chance." He replied.

Back at Mobius. Sonic was running through loops. The Tornado flew in a different direction as Angel Island was staying peacefully in the clouds.

Eggman was speeding away from Sonic in his hovercraft as Sonic quickly charged up a spin dash and launched himself at Eggman, he smashed into Eggman who was sent hurtling into the clouds screaming.

Sonic laughed as Eggman was but a twinkle in the sky. He paused as his eyes peered across the sky.

"I don't know what happened, but I'm glad to be home. Sonic thought to himself. Serena. The others. I'll miss you guys, but what a wild adventure we had. I'll never forget it. I'll be thinking of you and Earth whenever I'm blasting through a loop and rushing on the oceans!" Sonic closed his eyes before opening them, on the horizon. He sped off into the distance for his next destination.

Thus, Serena and the Sailor Guardians can return to their peaceful lives as ordinary girls. Knuckles can resume his fated role as Angel Island's guardian. Tails continued to aid Sonic with his genius, and gadgets. Sonic returns to adventuring and just being fast. As the plots for the revival of the Dark Kingdom, and the conquest of Planet Earth by the Eggman Empire has finally been thwarted.

Now, I know what some of you are thinking, will I do Sonic the Hedgehog in Sailor Moon R? The answer is maybe. I am going back to doing The Loud of Adventures of Will. My Loud House fanfic.
