I need you here, I need you here, and if ever there's some place that I've got to be
Then I need you here with me
There is no other place in this world that I'd rather be
If I can't be at home then I'll send my apologies
Can't you stay right here forever pretty please? I need you here with me, I need you here
Where do you go, when you're not home?
It won't be long 'til you are grown, I love you so, I love you, too
So I'll stay right here with you
Sometimes daddy has to leave, that makes me sad
But daddy will always come back, he promised
There is no other place in this world that I'd rather be
If I can't be at home then I'll send my apologies
To you
To you
I need you here
I, I need you here
I need you here
I, I need you here
And
That makes me happy

Flowey Asriel Dreemurr was once again, far, far, far away from his home ...but it was okay
...
"Soooo, what's being the first monster in space feel like? They aren't treating you like Laika, are they?" thirteen-year-old Saffriel asked his dad with anxious worry.
Flowey couldn't help but laugh and briefly gazed at the endless and miraculous view of outer space in front of him, still so amazed that he had gotten the chance to become an astronaut, he was still half-convinced that he was living in a dream.
"They're treating me fine, I think they're actually a little jealous because I can get around better than they can and I don't have to worry about exercising,"
Between Saffriel and Frisk, stood a shy and tiny little human child with dark curly hair and lovely green eyes, their name was Frasiel and they were four years old, they giggled quietly at their father's joke.
"Can you see us in space?" they asked softly.
"I can Frazzy! I can see you on my laptop monitor and I can see you on Earth!" Flowey answered, shifting to his friendliest dad voice that he had developed whenever he spoke to his youngest child.
At that, Frasiel smiled with awe, amazed "can you see the sun?"
"No, not from where I'm at, but I do see billions and billions of stars- a bunch of those are suns," he explained, "which, in your language, means a lot more than ten,"
Frasiel gasped loudly, completely mesmerized "that's a lot!"
"Are you happy up there?" Frisk asked, wiping their eyes with their hanky.
"You know I am sweetheart, there's never a dull moment, it really is a dream come true, but… it would be better if you three were up here with me," he said, then eyed the old heart clip he had given them as kids, as well as their proposal necklace, "you look beautiful by the way,"
"You look beautiful too, babe," Frisk said, winking at him, making both Frasiel and Flowey giggle.
"You should have seen them dad, they were panicking and everything before we got online, it's been a while since I've seen them like this," Saffriel explained "they were nuts,"
"Moddy isn't nuts, you're nuts," Frasiel fussed, pointing at their big brother.
Flowey snickered, "listen, no one here is nuttier than me, got it?"
At that, his children cracked up, giggling.
"Sooo, what's floating like?" Frisk asked curiously, "it looks like fun,"
"Do you remember when we got caught in Garbine's tornado?"
"Yes?"
"It's similar to that but take away the scary part,"
"Ooohhh, oh… wow, that's pretty darn cool," Frisk said thoughtfully.
"Aw man, I wanna float," Saffriel grumbled, crossing his arms.
"Go visit Garbine then, I'm sure she'll set you up," Flowey joked.
Saffriel eyebrows rose with surprise, "really?"
"No! That's dangerous, don't do that!" he snapped.
At that, Saffriel made a stink face and crossed his arms, looking away.
Frisk gave their son a pat on his shoulder, "it's okay, how about I take you two to see Mettaton and we ask if we can use his jet packs?"
Both Saffriel and Frasiel gasped loudly.
"Really for real?!" Saffriel asked, hopeful.
"Really for real?" Frasiel mimicked, just as hopeful.
"Really for real," Frisk confirmed, grinning when the two began dancing and cheering, they then looked to Flowey who winked at them and they winked back.
"I guess we finally confirmed who the fun parent is," Flowey said, gazing at his children with love.
"It's moddy!" Saffriel cheered, high-fiving them.
"Heck yeah," Frisk said cooly, grinning big.
"It's okay daddy, I still love you," Frasiel said softly.
"I love you too Frazzy," Flowey cooed.
Saffriel's smile became guilty "I love you dad, you're fun too… just not as fun as mod,"
Flowey chuckled quietly "It's fine, I'm already fully aware, I love you too Saf',"
"Daddy…?" Frasiel began to ask.
"Yes?"
"Can you tell me the story of how you and moddy met again?" they asked.
Saffriel made a stink face at their little sibling "seriously? That story is so depressing,"
"But it has a happy ending," Frasiel pouted.
"It's okay, how about a tell you the story about how moddy and I fell in love?" Flowey asked.
The children perked up at that, it was a story they hadn't heard yet, at least not a long version.
Frisk grinned warmly, blushing, "I think that sounds like a wonderful story, what do you guys think?"
"I wanna hear!" Frasiel chirped.
"I do too, just…skip over any sad parts…and maybe the kissy parts?" Saffriel requested.
Flowey laughed, "okay, I'll tell you a tasteful version, ready?"
"Yeah!" the two cheered.
"Well, I think I was always in love with moddy, but I didn't officially figure it out until I was thirteen…," he then pointed to Saffriel who was about to say something, "If you're about to say you're in love with someone-,"
Saffriel laughed and became bashful, "I'm not! But I do have a crush-,"
At that Frisk and Frasiel cheered excitedly, as Flowey sighed deeply, definitely unprepared for his firstborn to have a crush "we'll discuss that after the story, this might take a little while, so someone make a mental note for me,"
At that, Frasiel pretended to scribble a note onto their brain, writing on their forehead with their finger, a creative and precious act that reminded Flowey very much of Frisk.
"Thank you Frazzy, now…let's see…I'll start at grandma Alphys and aunt Undyne's wedding…be prepared to cry like a baby,"
"Noooo," Saffriel whined "you know I'm an empath daaaaad,"
"Sorry, sorry, I'll go easy on you," Flowey said, then, as he clutched at the old golden heart locket he wore on his long stem- continued his story, despite his poor memory and harsh feelings relating to that day, he found it surprisingly easy to tell his children and retell it to Frisk, finding himself entirely and fully filled with never-ending love.
Flowey…
Asriel couldn't wait to see what else life held in store for him.

Look inside of me and see that I am not afraid, to walk inside the void like a kid inside a cave
Discovering the patterns of my soul and where it's placed
I've been mapping many caverns but it still feels like a maze
I know I'm made of clay that's worn, blighted by imperfect form
But I will trust the artist molding me
I am creation, both haunted and holy, made in glory
Even the depths of the night cannot blind me
When You guide me, creature only
Look inside my heart and find a perilous ravine, carved within the beauty, the darkness in between
Standing in the balance of complete and incomplete, I identify the echo of what is and what will be
I know I'm made of clay that's worn, blighted by imperfect form
But I will trust the artist molding me
In a room that's growing dim, illuminated from within the pull of tension's empathy
I am creation, both haunted and holy, made in glory
Even the depths of the night cannot blind me, when You guide me, oh
I am creation, both haunted and holy, made in glory
Even the depths of the night cannot blind,'cause what comes
Creature only, creature only
Growing through the creature here, I'm trying to see when it's unclear
Hidden in the space between, hero and the enemy
Early days and sleepless nights, death and resurrection, life
My body is a sacred note, sung between the flesh and hope
My dirt transformed within a breath, before I took a single step
I'm looking forward to the day when life can grow without decay
Humanity is not alone when Jesus Christ sits on the throne
These hidden mirrors expose the mess
The selfish turns to selflessness
Haunted by a darker side transcends to walking in the light
And slowly I'm recovering the beauty of discovery . . .
…
I mean, that amount of glory
Does sound reasonably glorious
And that's that, the story ends for us here but continues on forever for Asriel and Frisk and their family, thank you so much for taking the time to read my fanfic, I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have writing it! Remember, you are loved.
