Hey guys, this is going to be a disappointing message for a lot of you I imagine. But it's one that I need to get out for you all. I am sorry to announce that I will no longer be writing fanfiction. A lot of things have been happening in my life, and I am not 18 years old anymore with a lot of time on my hands. I am 23 now, I am in the army national guard, I am working on getting a civilian job as an electrician, and I met someone that I want to marry. That means I have to cut some parts of my life out that I don't need. Sadly, this just takes too much time out of my life to continue working as hard as I did before. I just don't have the energy for it anymore, and like I've said multiple times, I don't even like RWBY anymore.
I'd rather stop now where it's relatively strong instead of forcing myself to write it any longer and have it not up to par. You guys deserve better than that.
I felt like the better I got at writing the more I saw how badly written RWBY was in some places. I'm not saying that oh, I'm the best guy out there and I can do it better, but there are some fanfics out there that are genuinely just better than RWBY. And in my opinion, when a fanfiction outshines the show, that's an issue. I understand the pressure that they had after the creator passed too soon, but it was never the same after V3, and I just don't like writing for it.
I tried to push through the slump, I really tried to be better than that. But I just can't keep forcing myself to write for a show that I don't even like. Before I decided on this, I decided on watching RWBY Icequeendom to see if there were any differences that could have sparked my return to RWBY fanfics. Frankly, it just didn't. I was bored, nothing was funny to me, and as a writer who wrote 7 fanfictions for the series I just started memorizing every scene, every line, and every character's personalities and ideals.
On top of all of that, as some of you may know, I started writing an original story, with hopefully an original world, and brand new characters and plots that I built and created from scratch, a new series with my name literally on it. I call it Su(o)n's of Amon. I actually finished, edited, and then published it onto Amazon and Amazon kindle. If you would be interested in checking that out, I would be very grateful. If all my nearly 900 followers of this story went on to check out my book, that would really put me in a good spot.

Erase all the spaces and the -'s in the link there and you should be able to get to the direct spot to buy it or read it for free with Amazon Kindle. I'd love to share with you the story I was able to concoct with this mind of mine Lol.
HOWEVER! I will not just forget this story ever happened, and I won't forget all my readers and followers that supported me this far. I am not just going to end this story without an ending. So my final gift to you all, I will tell you what I was going to do before I decided to give up writing fanfiction.
Starting now:
Volume 6: For V6 of The Blind Huntsman, Kai and the others would begin with recovering from the battle. Blake mourns for Adam, Cardin learns to trust the ones who helped him fight Adam and also branches out to like the others as well. Everyone not already at Haven has regrouped, and finally have come back together as a full team. Yang and Raven finally fully reconcile, where Raven finally tells Yang why she left, and originally intended never to return. What was the reason? I honestly couldn't make one up. Never thought of one. Regardless, it was understandable enough but not unforgivable by Yang and co.
Not too much changes in this volume, however, Maria does find and recognize Kai from his grandfather Mal. They talk for a bit, and we get an early reveal that Maria is a silver eyed warrior and she expresses how envious and impressed she is with Kai who has always been blind yet has never given up fighting and defending people whereas she instantly went into hiding once she lost her own pair of silver eyes.
The Grimm attack on the train still happens. But with a maiden on board being Orchid, the are a non-issue. However, Tyrian being on board and setting explosives is. The train is still derailed, and the party is separated for now. Oscar is left alone with Kai and Ruby, and the doubts that Tyrian sowed into Kai starts to come through brutally as Kai holds the relic and demands for Oscar to give him the password. Ozpin tries to convince him otherwise, but Oscar forcefully takes back control as in the original, and tell's Kai about Jinn.
In the memories. Kai is shown all of the original events like Salem and Ozma in the past and how Salem became immortal and how Ozpin tried to stay with her during his first reincarnation, etc. However, since this is TBH and Kai is confirmed to be Salem's long descended grandson, we also get the reveal that one of Salem's daughters was able to escape due to the help of a young squire of one of Ozma's deceased knights. This squire's name is Maverick Matsuoka. One of the first Silver Eyed warriors. The daughter that survived was named Sunlight, a play of words off the season of Summer. We see Maverick and Light, as her nickname is born, escape, and after several years of protecting her once they both reach a LEGAL AGE (Have to mention that since Salem and Ozma's daughters are quite clearly children in the vision) They fall in love and have children. These are the first Silver Eyed warriors that both had the original ancient magic all humans once had access to, and the divine magic of the God of Light within the Silver Eyes.
This made the Matsuokas into the strongest bloodline of Silver Eyed warriors out there. A dynasty that BOTH Salem and Ozma used in the coming war once Ozma got out of the depressed slump he was in after being killed by his wife. As we all can sort of guess, most of the silver eyed warriors, including the Matsuokas were wiped out. Leaving a scarce few left belonging from the only 3 known lines with the silver eyed gene. The Calavera's, Matsuoka's, and the Rose's.
Fast forwarding a bit, we learn that it was Ozpin who made Kai blind in the womb with his magic as a precaution born out of fear for another evil Matsuoka, as the last one was responsible for the deaths of many of his former allies thanks to the power of the Dark Silver Eyed abilities which draw upon more primal magic. Throughout all of these visions, Kai is granted sight by Jinn so he can understand what is happening.
Here I kept struggling with the idea of having Jinn cure Kai's magical blindness, but in the end I decided that since the story is literally called The BLIND Huntsman, it wouldn't make sense in my head, even if it might have been a good moment. At this, Kai is understandably pissed off, and wakes himself out of the vision before he could see what else Jinn was going to show him. He uses his new sword, which Ruby and Qrow made for him out of Etricium, not Silver Ebony, and in his anger tries to murder Oscar. Ruby stops him of course, and after an argument on what's right and wrong, Kai tries to make Ruby see that the world is not black and white but full of grey's, and that Ozpin, no matter if he lives within Oscar, is as close to black as one can get. Just as black as Salem. Ruby rejects this, and professes that she won't let him become a murderer. Kai, of course, proclaims that he has already killed many people.
Kai and Ruby fight each other. Their battle is fast, erratic, and is a battle of two of the most powerful silver eyed warriors alive. Ruby pushed her speed way belong her limit, and the two are very close in skill. The commotion brings the others to their location, but as they try to stop them, Kai freezes them with the snow and restricts their movements, forcing them to watch as he kicks it up a notch and begins to outlast Ruby due to his monstrous stamina. But Qrow, who is frozen with them and protecting Malienna from the sight by covering her eyes, notices that Kai is still holding back. He isn't trying to kill Ruby, and this is certainly not the full extent of his abilities. He is conflicted, and so he knew who would win the fight.
Even when Kai gets Ruby pinned down, and weakens her aura, he can't bring himself to hurt her. He is visibly tearing up at this point, and Ruby notices, and takes the chance to knock him out before anything else could happen. Kai is then tied up and is escorted by Qrow and Taiyang to keep him in check. Malienna stays with him as well, and Ruby can barely stand and walk on her own, so Cardin offers to carry her. They end up in Brunswick village, and the Apathies affect everyone, they get them to a very low point. Kai especially. Ruby sees Kai in private at night only to find him disturbingly apathetic, even with Malienna trying to get him to speak. Despite this, Ruby says that she forgives him, and understands his anger, and no matter what, she will be there for him.
When the Apathies finally strike, no one has the will to fight them. This is when Kai can sense their trouble through his connection with Ruby and Malienna, and encourages Malienna to activate her eyes, which she does. Saving them all from a very slow death.
Getting to Atlas after this genuinely isn't hard. As Kai might have been framed by Vale's laws and standards, he is still a licensed huntsman in Atlas thanks to Ironwood and Ozpin in the past. With Weiss, Qrow, and WINTER at Argus instead of the little old lady, they are given a free ride to Atlas under no restrictions. Making the godzilla creature thing Grimm a non issue as it never has the negative energy to awaken or find Argus in the first place. Also in Argus, Pyrrha also gets to meet a family member, the same person that was at her memorial statue in the show.
Volume 7:
Most of this volume is a genuine non issue. Watts and Tyrian don't do their work enough to get noticed for months, almost a year, and so everyone gets to reconcile and begin their individual training arcs. Kai forgives himself for almost killing Oscar and Ruby, and begins a relationship with Orchid, sharing their first time together as Orchid doesn't ever want to lose her chance with him again. Everyone gets much stronger over the months, and during this time, Cinder is also making her own moves in the background unbeknownst to everyone, including Salem and co. But, since Ironwood is so much more under control now that he has many, many more powerful allies and Ozpin, he isn't as crazed as he was before. Also, he is told from the start about Salem's immortality, no lies, no bullshit that gets him untrusting. On the matter of Freya and her passing on her abilities, she gives them away earlier and faster as she did to Penny, but to Winter as intended. This is due to her meeting all of the heroes, and coming to understand what they were fighting against. Giving the good side a whole TWO maidens on their side out of the four that are still out there.
The same pans out as per usual, The Ace Ops are befriended after Ironwood adds Kai to their team, and Tyrian and Watts are still captured. Much of this volume was difficult to think about, since since there are so many heroes and TWO MAIDENS plus a more confident Oscar, there aren't many threats.
Cinder does not make her move here, however.
Volume 8:
Once Ironwood gets the idea of leaving Mantle behind, clearly, everyone is against it. With only half the cast on Atlas at the time, the only one who can do anything about it is Kai. Who ends the threat early. By himself, he fights the Ace Ops and then goes on to fight an already injured Ironwood. Since the Ace Ops were apparently beaten by a Team RWBY who only trained for like half a year, and with Kai already being pretty overpowered by this point, he is able to beat them without TOO much trouble. However, as he approaches Ironwood to finish him off, Ironwood floods the room with gas after putting on a gas mask, rendering Kai unconscious and then imprisoning him.
The Grimm is focused on destroying Amity. The other heroes are able to fill Amity up with many of Mantle's refugee's. But they can't save everyone. Penny holds off Grimm along with most of Mantle's huntsmen with the help of her friends while Jaune takes the same drug that Ironwood gave to Kai when he was severely injured in the past, enhancing his already aura enhancing aura. He uses this power on Pyrrha, who then lifts Amity with her semblance, and takes it a safe distance away to safety. The ones who can fly, Penny, Orchid, Winter etc, go back to Atlas to help in its defense against the Grimm.
Salem's attack continues on Atlas and with the Ace ops down, Ironwood is alone with no one to stop him. Kai is imprisoned, and sedated though not to the point of unconsciousness. Only to the point where he cannot use his magic or aura. After a loud disagreement, Cinder of all people reveals herself at last and breaks Kai out. But not before forcing an agreement with him. She also wants to kill Salem, for enslaving her and then abandoning her the second she discovers Kai and Malikai. She professes that Kai has already killed her, and thus his vengeance has been satiated. She has been reborn with a new purpose, and that is to topple the powers of the world and destabilize the world, so she can pursue her own course of power without halt. Kai very reluctantly agrees, and only because he knows that Cinder is telling the truth. She isn't Grimm anymore, just a human with terrifying ambition.
(There is no Volume 9 like RT will write it. As the story ends either in V8 or my own version of V9)
The next major arc would be to slay Salem at last. In the effort to not make this chapter longer than most, I will simply say that with a lot of teamwork, a combination of impure and pure magic of silver eyes thanks to Kai, Malienna, and Ruby, Ozma/Oscar, all the current heroes, and after ridding Salem or any more of her allies. The Silver Eyed warriors are able to petrify Salem as a Medusa would a human in mythology. She is transformed into a statue, with the only hope of thawing naturally in thousands of years. During everyone's exhaustion, Cinder and Kai have one final stand off.
"Our story started with us, Little Kai. Now it will end with just one of us." - Cinder, a planned line during the final chapter of TBH.
Kai and Cinder have one finally duel to the death. No magic, no weapons, no aura or semblances left. Just simple brutal and bloody hand to hand combat with no holds barred. In the end, Kai is able to come out on top, strangling Cinder to death while she smiles and professes that she has already killed him on the inside, and that he will just become a husk with no purpose after today.
In the epilogue, Kai proved her wrong. He would start a family with Orchid, and tell Ozma, who has sadly fully taken control over Oscar at this point, that he has thousands of years to truly unite the world and fulfill whatever the Gods wanted from him. The true epilogue takes place centuries down the line, with the world fully exterminating the world of Grimm now that Salem is no longer around to prevent their expansion. Ozma, in a brand new host, brings the 4 relics together, and then destroys them. Forever banishing the Gods from Remnant, and condemning himself to an existence of containing Salem in hopes of curing her of the Grimm essence within her, or in failing too, making sure the new modern Remnant never has to deal with either of them ever again.
Well, there we have it. That is mostly the gist of how I was going to end this story. Again, I am sorry I will never come back to this and write it for real. But like I said, it is time for me to move on.
Take care everyone, I thank everyone who supported me and kept me going.
