Snow was covering the ground outside of the order. exorcist were running out to rage war on any and all of those who are raging against us.
Dead corpses were decorating the ground like pieces from a game. Body's were here and there, not one way you went to look wasn't blocked by the sight of humans fighting humans, exorcist and towns people, fighting like there was no mercy, fighting like there was no way that any of them, were going to live to see the next sunrise.
Screaming and battle cry's were being heard all through the inky night sky. Metal to metal, fire to fire. Was there no light to shed on this dark situation?
Smell of burning flesh, one can never forget such a smell, such a sight. Arms and legs crackling with every burning degree, skin melting off like that of a lit candle.
No one can say that they fully understand war, no one can ever say that one can get over what they saw and heard on a battle field. For the things that are going on here, one can only say that they lived, by killing.
I was awoken by being slapped in the face. So that was just a dream after all. Nice to know. "Ah... I see you are awake", Tyki said, "With a little help from your palm", I stated.
He smiled at the remark and pulled a seat up and sat down in front of me. "Know, I know that it was you who took Rhoad, but where is the other one? The tall, long blue-haired-one that looks like a girl but fights like a man?".
Oh Kanda. I guess he could see that I figured out who he was trying to find by the look on my face. "That person, tell me who he is, and I'll let you live", was Tyki really wanting to play this kind of game?
"If I tell you, you would only let me live long enough to let me watch you, as you kill him", I stated as a fact with a smirk on my face.
"My my, you really know a lot about me don't you?". He replied with his own kind of smirk. "I hear things", I told him. "Do tell, I would love to know what is being said about me". Tyki smiled at what he was hoping to hear.
"That you are the Noah of pleasure. You like seeing the people you catch die. Handsome, can speak two languages, and has a way with woman and getting whatever he wants.
And whatever he doesn't get, throws a fit till the earls gets if for you. Lazy don't like doing much work except for what he what's to do...That's it I think".
I finished saying to him. The whole while I was talking he was smiling. Did I get it all right or something like that?
"Wow, wherever you heard that from must really be a fan of mine or has stocked me for sometime now without me knowing about it". He said, with a full on cheeky smile.
"So... I was right?", I asked. He looked back at me and nodded his head. "TYKI!", Rhoad. "Ah and that would be Rhoad with news of the fight", I looked in the same direction as Tyki was, was a brown door opened with a creak and closed with a slam.
"Oh, she's awake", Rhoad said, as she walked in with a lollipop in her mouth and swinging an umbrella in her right hand. "Yes, Tyki was ever so kind as to wake me", I told her.
Tyki shot me a look that I didn't so much like. "Tyki already started his fun, no fare". Rhoad said to break up the silence. Tyki snapped his head to Rhoad to retort when I beat him to it.
"He just slapped me, so don't worry he didn't start without you". I told her. And Tyki shot me another look. If he doesn't hurt me with his hands, he was going to hurt me with that look.
"If you weren't an Exorcist, I think we would have been good friends. I mean you like bugging Tyki and getting on his nerves and you have a way with words and you're a smart alike.
But you had to go and be that". She gestured to my uniform. I looked down for some reason, I know what my uniform looks like, but still I looked down. "Maybe", I told her.
"Well, I was just asking her Rhoad who that blue boy was and where I could find him". He told her of what he has done so far. "Yes I do know him, but no, I don't know where he is. After he was about to die by one of your Akuma I dragged him away and one of my people took him somewhere. That's all I know".
I didn't lie to them, I really didn't know where they took him. "Guess we'll have to find out the hard way", Tyki leaned forward and stuck his hand in my chest.
That was some freaky shiznit. "Tell me where he is, or I squeeze". He said to me. "Tyki, I really don't know where they took him. I was being carried back to the Order after what you did to me when I first saw the battle.
I told the finder that was with me to go help them and I was left there by a tree. After I was healed, I joined the fight. Yes I lasted the longest, but where they were taking there wounded was beyond me.
Now, can you take your hand out of me please? It's kind of weird having you probe around in there", I asked him. It was weird, it felt funny and ticklish where his hand was and just plan...wrong.
He did as I asked and took is hand out. "Hey, what's that in your hand?", I saw that he had something in his hand after pulling it out of me. He opened his hand to see some mooshy yellow stuff on the palm of his hand and around his fingers.
"I do believe that if I don't kill you the fat around your heart will". He stated. "Was that fat from around my heart?", There's no way that was happening.
"No, but just under it". He stood and wiped his hands off on a piece of cloth. That.. is just plan Gross, with a capital G.
"Well, I do believe that there is an Akuma who would like to finish fighting you", Tyki said, and opened the door, Rhoad stepped out first, and just as he was about to turn away from me I said.
"Wait, Tyki...Untie me", I pleaded with him through my eye's. He snapped his fingers and the ropes that were tying me to this, chair gone. He gave me one last smile then shut the door.
The room that was dark suddenly was lit. I was in a field, somewhere that I've never been before, when right out of know-where, that Akuma I was fighting dropped out of the sky.
"I'm gonna swallow your soul". It said. "Come get some", I said back to it. It charged after me with a high pitch scream. I had my wind activated and had it form a bubble around my head so I wouldn't be effected my the noise.
It was just in range for me to jump up and over its head, when it swung it's tail around and swatted me back down to the ground. "One for me and zero for you", was this Akuma keeping score?
I activated my earth and fire innocence. I put both feet firmly on the ground, brought my hands up to my chest to where they were both flat to the ground with my elbows out, and pushed down my hands down to the ground.
The ground below the Akuma fell out from under it and it fell down in to the hole that I had just made. I walked over to the hole and looked down inside of it.
The Akuma was looking up at me as I was looking down at it. "Ah, exorcist one, me one", I bawled up my fist and opened it real fast so flames could be formed on the palm of my hand.
I raised it up and over my head and through the ball of flame down into the hole with the screaming Akuma. "Exorcist two, Akuma...One". I said, and walked away. BOOM!. And that's the sign that the Akuma is dead folks. Now, just to get home.
Walking, walking, walking, just keep walking. Walking, walking, walk-AH. I fell flap on my face. Like those kind you see on a cartoon or something. Legs and arms sprawled out to my sides with my face in the dirt slash grass.
"Why me?". I mumbled in to the ground. Out of the whole field, there just had to be a rock, right there. I sat up on my legs and just stared out in to the open air. "Hello!?". I yelled. Nothing.
I stood back up and continued walking. The sun was setting and my diary rear was still walking this god forsaken field. Finale. Something that caught my eye. A Tree. I ran closer and closer to it and just hugged it.
I was so happy that I found something other than grass and dirt and that one effing rock. I looked up in to the tree and decided to climb it.
I climbed to the top and looked out in every direction. There was nothing east or south. So I looked the other way, nothing in the west, but I could see a glow coming form the north.
I got down and out of the tree and headed north. I must have walked for a few more hours till I could make out a city. But just as I was so close, my legs gave out on me and I fell to the ground. Yet so far away.
I was feeling something warm and soft going over my arms and face. It felt nice. I peaked my eyes open and saw a white thing that was over my face, it was soft and worm.
Then it moved "Meow", it said to me as it looked at me with those big eye's. I sat up and hit my head on something hard. "Ow", I said. "Careful now' there's a branch there", I turned my head around to see an old man drawing something.
"Who are you?" I asked the man. "I'm General Tiedoll, but you can call me tiedoll", A general from the Order? "Sir, are you from the Order?", I asked the man.
He turned to look at me and said, "Yes, I am. I found you laying in the field not to far from here. I brought you over here to my camp to tend to you". He said to me.
"Thank you, for helping me, Sir", I told the General. "No problem child", He replied back to me. I scooted out from underneath the low branch and sat crossed-legged looking at what he was drawing.
"It's beautiful", I said. "Thank you. When I am done here I will be passing through the Order, so you can come with me to get home", he said. "That would be awesome, Sir", I said with a huge smile on my face.
Not soon after that, he was done painting the beautiful city and we were on our way home.
By far, this was the second longest time that it has ever taken me to get home. Seven day's. One week. One fourths of a month. I was dying for some real food and for a good shower and a great nights rest.
That's all that I am asking for, how hard could it be for that to happen? Hard.
I walked in to the Order and up to Komui's office. "Sup' boss man?", I said as I strolled in to his office and flopped down on the couch. "Rayn, where have you been? You've been missing for three months."
Wait what? Three months? That has to be some kind of mistake? "There's no way", I said looking at him like he was crazy, well crazier.
"We couldn't find you. We searched and searched, everywhere we could think of, and still we couldn't find you. Where have you been?". So I told him everything from the start.
By the time I was done telling him what happened, his jaw was on the floor and his glasses were about to fall off of his nose. I leaned towards him and pushed his glasses back onto his face, and then pushed his mouth back closed.
I went back lounging on the couch till Komui finally came to. "That...Must have been hard on you Rayn", Komui stated. "Yeah", I said nodding my head. "Can I like, go get a shower and food? I'm so hungry, I could eat the ass-end out of a dead rhino".
He blinked at what I said then nodded. I don't think he wanted to ask what that meant.
I didn't run in to anyone till I went to get food. That's where I saw everyone. I waited in line, then got my food and sat down with Allen, Lena and Lavi. "Where have you been?", they both jumped me at the same time.
So I told them. They had the same reaction as Komui did, when I told him what happened to me. "Wow", was all that was really said. So I went back eating my food. God this was heaven. So much food and all the time I need.
Just when I thought I had it made, all my food was on the wall. The table was flipped up and it was me, looking at Lenalee with her hand in Allen's. Sense when? I thought.
Then I was pushed and held up on the wall. It all happened so fast, I didn't know what to do. "Where in the hell have you been little girl?", Kanda?
"How nice to see your face too, but please put me down, I have had enough fighting to last me for sometime". I told him. He didn't put me down until a few seconds went by.
Then he sat me back down on my feet. "Thanks", I said, and walked out of the cafeteria. I was just about to my door when Kanda asked me where I was. So again, I told him.
When I was finished, I opened my door and walked in, and fell back on to my bed. So soft, so comfy. Where have you been all my life? 'Right under your ass'. I could hear it saying.
"Don't do that again, Baka", Kanda said, "Hey, it's not like I wanted to do it this time fringe", I remarked at Kanda. "Che." Was all that was heard then my door being closed.
After that, I closed my eye's and let mister sand man do his thing, which is make me fall asleep.
