Chapter 4: Comfort.
( Naruto's apartment)
Naruto is currently sitting down while eating a cup of ramen. Then he could head to bed since Anko will be training him for the finals in the Chunin Exams in two days.
He suddenly heard a knock at the door and got up opening to see who is it. Only to be surprised that it was Hinata at the door.
"Hinata? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" He asks noticing her sad expression. As she ran into his arms and cried.
"Naruto-kun... you won't believe what I just learned..." She says with him raising a brow.
"What is it?" He asked wondering what it was that got her crying.
As he let her in and closed the door.
"I just learned what happened to my mother.." She says.. with him listening and nodding wanting to hear more.
"My father.. and the Hyuuga Elders are the ones who murdered my mother..." She confessed with Naruto widening his eyes in disbelief.
"What!?" Naruto yelled. Unable to believe what she just say.
"I heard them talk about it when I got home. They discussed about me becoming a Lion and.. they are plotting to have me killed if I turned into a lion or give me to Kumo." Hinata explains everything on what she heard.
Naruto of course had a sudden look of anger on his face.
"What can we do Naruto-kun? I'm scared to go home... I don't want to go back.. I want to stay with you..." She says. With him thinking on this.
"Sure you could stay Hinata-Chan. We can go tell Hokage-jiji first thing in the morning about this and see what will he do about this." He says with her smiling.
"Thank you Naruto-kun." She hugged him.
( Konoha Border)
The Ghost and the darkness. Stalked into the bushes. Hidden and walked stealthy in the dark night they were in. Unseen by any traveler or Shinobi.
Both lions glanced at the gates of Konoha. Seeing it was guarded at night.
Growled lowly they did as they looked to the right.
They went right and went to the far end of Konoha .
As they got there, they saw a exit leading from the forest of death.
Both lions stares at it and went inside the exit.
As they entered the forest of death. The dangerous animals and beasts within it instantly started running and hiding from the deadly pair of lions. Feeling the mass killer intent from the two lions that dared any of them to try fighting them.
These creatures in the forest of death knew these lions are apex predators and are ruthless.
As they went further into the forest of death to observe and reach to Hinata.
But the lions decided to find a cave to rest at.
At a Cave. There was also a tent. Two Root Anbu were camping here. They slept peacefully unaware of the danger that is to come to them.
The lions found a cave along with the tent that belonged to those two masked Shinobi.
The lions decided to kill both of them.
By surprise attacking them. As the Root Anbu screamed feeling their limbs being ripped apart and had their throats ripped out of them. The two lions then consumed the root Anbu and destroyed their camp.
The lions went over to a cave and decided to sleep here since they traveled really far from their den.
( Naruto)
Now sleep in his bed while he offered Hinata a sleeping bag.
Hinata herself had woke up and wondered if she should get in bed with her crush.
She got in bed with him and laid up against his sleeping form.
( Morning)
Naruto woke up as he tried to stretch only to notice that he couldn't. And for some reason he couldn't move. He suddenly widened his eyes at what was before him. Hinata is laying up against him and is holding him.
He blushed faintly at how close Hinata was to him.
He then glanced at the clock and noticed it was 8:56 am.
"Hinata... Hinata." He gently shook her waking her up.
"Naruto-kun?" She says
"Let's get up so we can go see Old man Hokage." He says with her nodding her head.
( 15 minutes later)
They got dressed and left the apartment now onto the streets of Konoha.
As they were on their way to the Hokage Tower only to be stopped by a voice.
"There you are Hinata."
The two turned around and saw Hiashi Hyuuga who was glaring at the two behind him are Hinata's bodyguard Ko and three other branch members.
Naruto scowled.
"And just where do you think you are going with this commoners filth?" He asked coldly
"To the Hokage tower..." Hinata answered with her expression shadowed.
"You are to come home. Now." He commands
"No! Hinata is not going anywhere with you! You murderer!" Yelled Naruto with Hiashi narrowing his eyes.
"Murderer? I have no idea what you are talking about boy. Step aside street rat and let me get my daughter." Hiashi hissed.
"No! I'm not letting you take her!" Naruto protested.
"I won't ask twice Boy. Move now. Or I'll move you myself." Hiashi threatened.
"I'm not moving. Let's go Hinata!" He grabbed her hand and ran.
"Get back here! After them!" Hiashi says with his branch members and Ko going after them. He followed them also.
Hiashi was gaining on them. As he leaped over them and was infront of them.
"Last chance boy. Give me back my daughter or you will regret upsetting me." Hiashi says coldly glaring at the boy
Naruto just glared at him with Hinata staring emotionlessly at her father.
"So be it." Hiashi moved so fast that he struck Naruto with a gentle fist jab in the stomach knocking him into a nearby building.
"Naruto-kun!" Hinata cried seeing her crush get hurt.
"Now come along Hinata." He says while looking at her who surprisingly glared at him.
"No." She says
"What did you say!?" He hissed making sure he misheard her.
"I said no! I won't go home with you! I won't live with a murderer! You killed mother!" She yelled with those within earshot heard this Hiashi gritted his teeth, it seems that she knows the truth!
"I have no idea what you are talking about. Your mother died of child birth-" He says
"Liar! I heard everything! Don't you dare try to make that lie!" Hinata growled suddenly with her eyes going moonlight color and her hands were becoming claws and that she grew a lion tail.
"Keep away from me!" She ran to go check on Naruto only for her Bodyguard Ko to run to her and grab her.
"Hinata-sama! Let's go don't go to that street rat." Ko says. Hinata suddenly turned feral and slashed her claws at Ko's throat slitting it as the man choked on his blood
This made several others widen their eyes in shock and screamed.
Hiashi looked terrified while Hinata suddenly got on all fours and got infront of Naruto in a protective way growling of that of a lioness and roared at her father.
Before Hiashi could come up with a plan of attack he heard two other roars and widened his eyes seeing two large maneless lions jump from the roof of the building and landed infront of him daring him to get near Hinata.
As he fell on his ass in fear seeing that the Ghost and the Darkness are here!
( Hokage Tower)
"I wish to take both Naruto and Hinata under training with me. Hokage-sama. Since Kakashi deliberately abandoned his student in favor of another and was going to hand him to Ebisu." Anko says with the Hokage thinking on this.
"I will see about it Anko-" He was about to say until he heard a Lion roar. As did Anko who heard it.
Has Hinata became a Lion? Or was it the Ghost and the Darkness?
He and Anko and a squad of Anbu instantly left the office to go see what happened.
( Hinata)
In her semi Lion form she couldn't believe that there are two other lions here protecting her from her father.
Hiashi and his branch members stood still as both lions eyed them. Daring them to make any moves.
Hiruzen. Anko and a squad of Anbu arrived at the scene and widened their eyes.
"Holy Shit! Those are some huge ass lions!" Anko gasped
Hiruzen sweated slightly at the two Lions here now in his village, his Anbu drew their weapons.
"I'm getting too old for this Shit." Hiruzen thought forming a plan on how to defeat those two lions and calm Hinata down and what happened to Naruto?
