Interview-03
Unknown:
"Lady Celestine…" A voice spoke.
A sigh came from the lips of a beautiful woman, looking across her kingdom from the roof of her fortress like castle.
"Lady Celestine?" A voice called out to the beautiful woman, but the high elf Celestine paid her no heed, instead unflinchingly turning her jade eyes towards the sky. Beside the high elf was a human woman clad in magnificent armor, the woman calling out to the high elf, was named Claudia.
Claudia was not only the commander of the Sixth and Seventh Fortresses defenses, but she was also the personal bodyguard for the High Elf named Celestine. Such heavy responsibilities were expected of her as Captain of the Dawn Templars Knights whom serve the High Church as well.
Dawn Templars Knights worked in ranking system, they mainly were group of women knights with the heavy responsibility of protecting their Queen, Celestine was such Queen for she was a Goddess reborn as well.
Claudia wasn't just protector of two fortress because of her title, for behind those beautiful blue eyes held the strength of a powerful warrior, with blade in hand no normal man could go toe to toe with her as the tales goes. Claudia could slay hundreds of Orcs and Goblins across the battlefield before mainly given the position of becoming the Goddess's bodyguard.
"My lady…does it troubles you?" Claudia asked her Queen.
Celestine only answers in silence as the looks of doubt and fear never left her.
"Vult is strong, the mercenary army he leads has also welcome aberrant into their ranks lately. He now possible possess what is no doubt the largest army in our land." The female knight spoke with trouble honestly.
"…" Again, Celestine does not speak on the subject.
"Despite the preposterousness of his letter, it is clear he's serious…our future battles will be a difficult one." Claudia said with a troubled frown.
"Back then…" Celestine finally spoke.
"My Queen?" Claudia asked.
"I had a faint premonition when I saw that man leave with his army. It did not take on a particular form, though…like a snowflake that immediately melted upon falling to the ground. I couldn't see anything, just faint premonition yet it shakes my very core. Could it be my powers does not work on him or maybe…my powers too, are declining like that of the Dark Queen Olga?" Celestine doubted herself.
"My Queen. Please don't say such things. We all value your words." Claudia sadden at the thought of her Queen doubting her own abilities.
"Claudia…"
"These are troubled, chaotic times. We all know that cannot predict everything that might or could happen. Yours powers are still active, am I wrong? You are our Hope, we believed in you." Celestine only lowered her gaze, failing to offer a proper respond, but Claudia with a gentle smile look upon her face.
"Thank you, Claudia." The high elf smiled.
"Don't worry. I'm sure your powers will help us more in the future. Don't worry, my Queen. I will protect you and the seven shields alliance will protect everyone else." Claudia tried to give her Queen the words to move on and faced the coming dangers.
"We will win, we have too." Celestine said to herself, the feeling of trouble however never left her worried heart.
Elsewhere within another Dimension:
Being held within a small white room with a small table and two chairs, each chair one side of the table. Sitting on the left side of the room with wall facing his back, was a special D-class, wearing the stander orange jumpsuit of D-class.
This special D-class appearance was a wild one, with short brown silk-back hair with a grin that make any rapist proud, with a pointy nose and a punch-able face. This D-class was none other than Hicks of the Kuroinu, the scout of the black dog unit and sometime view as Vult's second command officer.
Suddenly three people entered the room, one was a middle-aged researcher male with short black hair with tired eyes, behind the man were two-armed guards equipped with sub machine guns. The male researcher took a seat and sat in front of Hicks.
"Hello D-7,8945 or Hicks as your original name was." The researcher addressed him.
"Yeah, and who the fuck are you?" Hicks asked.
"I'm your savior or your end, depending on if you answer my questions well and answer them truthfully." The man said.
"Not giving me a name huh, fuck you too." Hicks said with deep frown.
"You don't deserve to know my name, Hicks. Now you're going to answer some questions I have, let us begins." The researcher said with a tired tone.
"Wait if I answer them, would it lower my sentences maybe gain bit of freedom. This is Jail, right?"
The researcher laughed "Jail? You got good sense of humor. Your D-Class. One of the worst D-classes we got too before E-Class."
"Wait, I'm not serving some sentence?" Hicks rise a brow "I saw you guys took that bitch Olga in. She's the real bad guy here, that let that pretty face fool you."
"So, you have history with her then?" The researcher asked.
"Not me, I think the whole fucking world does, She's Queen of the Dark elves and she is a nasty piece of mess, she has…well had thousands of monsters under her thump. Because of her we had this stupid war that last for few hundreds of years." Hick said.
"Interesting, tell me more." The man rises his right brow with interest.
"Hey, I'm not saying shit unless I get my sentence dropped. I heard some D-class gain freedom; I want a deal." Hicks said.
The researcher's eyes view over to a camera at the far upper right corner of the room. His eyes viewed back towards Hicks' direction; a sinister smile came to the researcher's lips for a moment.
"Sure, Hicks we can…make a deal." He said, Hicks paused for a moment and blink twice.
"Really?"
"Yes. Now tell me what you know about SCP2-2025 or rather…Olga."
"Heh you better keep your word." Hicks glared.
"You have my word; you will have freedom." The researcher said with an honest smile.
'AH, this fool has no idea. The moment you become D-Class you're just waiting for Death. It's true some D-classes do gain a form of freedom, but not you...not you Hicks.'
Two Days Later: SCP-2025 Cell
"Olga how are you feeling?" Dr. James asked.
"I'm well, but still restless sleep, where's Sarah?" The Dark Elf asked.
"Ah, she was called to take care of an issue, it's not dangerous of course. But my wife sure does love taking on issue that the foundation can't solve on its own." James explained.
"I see. I take it you…have the items that I have requested?" The dark elf asked, her gold amber eyes stare at the good doctor. James responded with a wide smile.
"Yes, I have brought them."
"Them?"
"Yes, I have requested the wish you wanted, but my Bosses have taken great interest with you, Olga. They wish for the best way of your recovery. But I believe it is only right to start with our champion of happiness." James let out a low chuckle.
"Champion of happiness?" She rises her right brow, following a confuse expression resting on her face.
"Okay guys, send 999 in. I think she's ready!" Dr. James shouted in a cheerful tone.
The cell door of SCP2-2025 opened as both Olga and Dr. James watched as something odd was let into the room, it was a small creature of unknown origin. It wasn't very big, it was about the size of a puppy. Rather than walk the creature rather slide across the room with leaving behind small trail of orange colored ooze behind.
"W-w-what is this?" Asking with a fearful voice, Olga stared at this slime creature approaching her. It had black eyes that remind her of a puppy, it had big open smile resting on its…face? It looked at Olga with curious stare but soon it let out a giggle noise and rush towards her.
"Hey, get away from me!" Olga cried. She looked at James as her eyes scream for an answer.
"Relax, Olga this little guy just wants to help you, that's all. No need to threat."
"Help me? How?" She asked.
"Your dream issue, you haven't been eating either and that's no good. Don't be afraid of 999. He's one of the friendliest SCP in the world. I know you don't trust us humans, but believed me, SCP-999 won't hurt you." James said with an honest, his eyes focus on the little orange slime creature.
Olga paused for a moment, and she stare at the creature for three minutes and soon she slowly approaches the slime creature; the orange slime creature then slides across the floor towards Olga and stopped at her feet. Suddenly Olga grew a wide smile on her face as she felt an unknown feeling of joy and feeling of safety befall her.
The slime SCP looked at Olga and nuzzle against her left leg leaving small slime ooze on there, Olga didn't mind it. She soon kneels to the slime creature height level best she could, she reached out with both hands and touched the orange slime being with gentle strokes.
"How do you feel?" Dr. James asked the dark elf.
"I have no idea what this little thing has done. But I feel…happy, I haven't like this since…" Olga paused as a small memory flash within her mind.
"Since what?" James asked.
"About a good three hundred years ago, I believed. Those were the last days of my life being just…happy." She said, she frowns for a moment but once she did, SCP-999 took notice and nuzzle against her. Olga couldn't help but feeling overwhelmed by this unknown force and soon…
"Haha hah aha hah haha." She laughed.
"Well done, 999. You got another one." Dr. James crossed his arms over his chest as he too couldn't helped but smiled at the sight of SCP-999 making another person's life ever so brighter.
Olga played with the slime creature for about good ten minutes and soon ten minutes turned to half an hour and half hour and soon turned into an entire day of play.
Such a small creature bringing such joy to one who went through a horrible trauma, 999 truly made Olga's day. The feeling of despair and depression vanished as nothing, but joy filled Olga's being. Olga reaction towards 999 was that of an owner playing with its puppet.
SCP-999 having the power to cure any form of emotional destress from suicidal thoughts to depression and even self-doubt and more importantly anyone who suffering PTSD. As many staff members agrees that SCP-999 is the idea item you want to have with you all times.
Dr. James allowed Olga to spend time with SCP-999 for the entire day due the longer you react with 999 the longer its effect remains, and some become long lasting, not a bad deal some would say.
The Very Next Day:
"Olga how do you feel?" Dr. James asked.
"I feel…great. Happy. More relax, I had good dreams for once. What did that little guy do to me?" She asked.
"It's one of 999 wonderful gifts. Judging from how long you played with 999 I say you really did need it, Olga." The good doctor explains.
"…" Olga stare at James "Sarah not here again?" She asked.
"Yes, it seems the site she's had need more brain power then strength. She's working with other researchers at another site as I said before." Dr. James explained.
"You're not worry about anything happening to your wife?" Olga asked.
"Like what?" He asked.
"That she gets hurt or killed, or one of your fellow researchers might steal your wife from you, Sarah is a beautiful woman." Olga comment.
"I'll take that a compliment, Olga. But I trust my dear Sarah as much as she trusts me. We been married for fifteen years, and our relationship has been great. Other women don't interest me as Sarah does. Plus, I am very fond of the title my fellow coworkers have given us heh, The Couple." James's reply.
"Truly?" Olga seems surprised.
"Truly indeed." He answered.
"Must be nice to have that, not much of that exist in my realm." Olga said with a heavy sigh.
"What are you talking about?" He asked the Dark Elf.
"Not many relationships such as yours exist, well can't blame them. Why would you keep the relationship knowing if your wife was taken and raped by an Orc, Goblin or a winged being. Once your taken, no one wants you...or even loves you." Olga's eyes seem to be filled with some form of regret.
"If there's something you wish to share with me, Olga you may." James waited.
"Nothing human, just me speaking out. I thank you for the gift that helped me recover. I wish I could give you something in return for aiding me but I lack the ability to pass such a reward or rather I am unable too." She thanked the researcher.
"You're welcome, but there are other items that can aid you once more, should anything else befalls you. And what do you mean you lack the ability and are unable too?" Olga stared at James for a moment, her eyes looked away from James's direction.
"Have you found anything about Chloe?" She asked, changing a different subject. James rises his right eyebrow in a curious note.
"No, but we are doing everything we can to ensure she is found. We have gathered information from the Kuroinu scout member Hicks. And you were right he was very informative on such information. But Hicks told us that Chloe was here, the day you were brought to us. But we have no idea where she is nor how far she has travel to avoid us." James informed Olga.
"I am surprised that maggot even talked." Olga seems shocked "But I...do hope, Chloe's okay."
"He believed he could make a deal with us, to ensure his freedom. After few hours of talking, he realizes he wasn't going to leave this place as a free man. And of course, he resists and try to escape, But The foundation has its ways of making people talk. Right now, my bosses are thinking of just putting a bullet in him, but he seems to be a special kill for yours truly. But they also believed he has other secrets...for now the little shit lives."
"I told you I don't want anything to do-"
"I know, but he and his friends have caused the foundation great number of loses." He explained to Olga.
"Tell me…do you have other females like Sarah working here?" She asked.
"Of course, we have a fair share of females' workers as much as we have male workers, on the field and off, but why do you asked?" James grew curious.
"Have any of them been…impregnated by the Kuroinu?" The question was, but James seems to slightly bother by Olga's question.
"No, there were heavy number of sexual assaults of our female workers and D-classes but there been no report of any of them carrying a child of the Kuroinu nor their monster allies. And even if there some that were, we ensure that issue would be taken care of. One of the many things the foundation focus on is the protection of our realm and humanity." James explained.
"It's easy to know the enemy but sometimes it hard to faced them when they wear the same face as your kin." Olga let out a soft chuckle.
"You never face another elf in battle?" He asked.
"No, humanity have always been an enemy of my kin. Yet here I am at the mercy of humanity even in another realm. Human…James I do not wish to return to my realm." Olga said clearly.
"Why? Isn't it your home?"
"That realm stop being my home the moment I became a prisoner of my own castle." She stated.
"Care to explain this story?"
"James…do you think I'm a bad person?" Olga asked.
James paused for a moment "So far…no, you're not. Why do you ask? You have been helpful for us so far, we barely know your history, but Hicks told us, what he knows about you."
Soon Olga's calm expression dropped to a worry glare "What did that maggot tell you? Are you sure he spoke the truth? He could have been lying to you."
"As I said we have our ways. Hicks told us the truth…his truth. The truth that he believes and knows." He explained to the dark elf, but Olga still looked worry.
"Olga, even if what Hicks say is true, what happen to you was just as wrong. But I know forcing the truth out of you will get us nowhere, I will simply wait to hear it from you when you're ready." He told her.
"Another time, I would rather the both of you would hear my story. It would be not fun leaving Sarah out of the matter. Like you, she would find it interesting, yes? Both of you are scholars of your realm." Olga said while giving James a friendly smile for the first time.
"Very well then Olga. Today's chat is over, but should you need anything do not be afraid to asked. We're here for you." He told the pure dark elf.
"I know, but there are sometimes you cannot give me something without giving something else in return." She mutters.
"Huh?"
"Oh nothing." She chuckles "Oh next time could you bring that little slime I enjoy its company."
"999? Sure. But that's depend on if the other researchers aren't testing him for trails."
"Fine enough." Olga sigh in defeat but smiled anyways as she loved that little orange slime creature.
At another: SITE
"SCP-2025." A voice in the dark room spoke.
"For the past few weeks, she has been an interesting case for our best." A second voice spoke in the darkness of the void.
"Must be careful with this one, she has yet to truly tap into her powers. Though she said she have lost much of her powers, what is lost can be regain in time. And if her powers of teleportation are one thing, who knows what else she can bring into our world."
"That bit enough of doubting her, O-6 and O-3. We must think the bigger picture here, from the report of her history, there are humans where she was born. Their way may not be advance as us. But this can be useful in a long run, especially from that D-Class Hick's report."
"O-10 don't tell me you believed what that rapist saying is true? An Elf Goddess ruling a human kingdom as their Queen and protector. Why haven't someone put 2025 in trials yet?"
"Oh, that would be because of me." A woman's voice spoke in the darkness of the room. A spotlight shines down on the woman, the woman wore a black suit as she has short brown hair that stopped at her shoulders, her eyes were a deep jade color, she had beauty mark on the lower right on her mouth.
"Ah Ms. Rachel from the Ethics Committee what brings you here as our honor guest?" One of the voices in the darkness asked.
"Being a guest at the round table of the O-5 or O-13 Council was it?" Rachel said with a bored expression.
"Though we have thirteen members we are still the O-5, now Rachel what brings you here."
"Right, right, right. It is a matter of the state and protection of SCP-2025. I want her to have a better time here in our world. Thus, I am the reason why she hasn't been put through trials yet. She's not ready and putting her through said trials will lose the trust we have with her. May I need to remind you all trust is the most important thing to have in this world of ours." Rachel said with a dominated stare.
"Of course, Rachel but what can we do if we don't put her through test?"
Suddenly Rachel's cell phone ranged, she checked her phone for an email and soon Rachel grew a wide smile "That is where Chloe come into play."
"Chloe? Wait you have found 2025-1? When did this happen?"
"Just now. She was found in New York City; it didn't take long for them to find her it seem Ms. Chloe had left a mess behind in her awake." Rachel sighed.
"How many dead?"
"Thankfully no innocent lives were lost, few gang-bangers and one drug dealer. Chloe seems to be strong and flexible, but nothing beat a good taser in the back to put you down." Rachel chuckle.
"Well did anyone see her?"
"The report from New York Branch seems have already taken care of the matter as we speak. Cover story being Gang fight lend to the deaths of their own members and one drug dealer with an innocent girl nearly caught in the crossfire, thankfully ended with local policemen saving her life. Ah I love my job." Rachel laughed.
"Who's in charge of the New York Branch again?"
"Oh Dr. Bright. I think Dr. Marcus is there too." She tried to remember.
The sound of many annoyed sighs in the darkness was heard "Come on, we know all how Dr. Bright is, but Dr. Marcus is there too. I have faith in the two, that Chloe will be in good hands."
"Even if you say that, its Bright. And we all know how he gets when he's meet fresh meat, especially with SCP."
"You mean, She. Bright got transfer to a new body about three days ago. SCP-682 escaped again after Dr. Bright made a nasty remarked something about 682-Grandma's sucking eggs? I don't know what the hell Bright was thinking." Rachel shook her head.
"For our sake I hoped its Dr. Marcus asking the questions and not Dr. Bright and I know all thirteen of us and even you Rachel agrees."
"And why is that?"
"Have you forgotten what happened when Bright asked the magic 8-Ball? He broke the damn thing with a single question!"
"Oh…right." Rachel remembered only to make a regretting expression.
"To think it broke, because he asks what came first the color orange or the fruit called orange."
