Disclaimer: I think we all know I don't own Pokemon. ._.
"Did you even hear me? No! I could've died. "But you didn't!" Teal explained, "C'mon. Let's train!" I groaned, "I want to kill you right now." Despite my words, I grabbed my clothes. "Going to the bathroom."
I sleepily walked through the dark room. I felt something cold and heard a loud crash, "Uh..oops." I fastened my pace and slammed the bathroom door, locking it behind me. I set my clothes on the standard stool provided and brushed my teeth. I looked at the used tooth comb, tangled with knots of Teal's hair. "Ew…" I muttered, pulling the strands out and using it to detangle my own messy velvet red hair. I climbed out my pink cami and white silk pants into my usual attire; a loose white tank scrunched by a black vest and a pair of shorts.
I unlocked the door and went out, "I'm hungry." I complained, hugging my knitted bag. "Pikachu, come out." I squeezed the Pikachu against my chest and rocked back and forth. "Hungry!" I frowned and rubbed my empty stomach. Melani rolled her eyes, "We'll stop by a Chinese takeout, okay?" Melani rubbed her forehead, "I-I'll..pay." She added begrudgingly. "Got it!" I winked my eye and started for the door.
The two women followed behind. Wow, the hallway was so quiet…just the sound of my heels providing enough sound for a normal person to think that this wasn't just a barren resort. Y'know, if they didn't know anything about this place.
We entered the dark morning and I sighed, it was pretty cold. "Hey guys!" I laughed wildly. "Lookie here!" I stuck my index finger and my middle finger out to form a V and pressed the two fingers to my lips. I sighed heavily and out came the smoke, "Hah!" Melani scolded, "Now, now. Smoking is bad for you, young lady." I flailed, "I was just kidding, though!" I guess I tend to..overreact…sometimes.
I snuggled against my Pikachu and let my Ivysaur out, "Now, Ivysaur, you just evolved. I want to train you well!" I turned my gaze to my Pikachu, "You're really strong already, your turn will come soon!" We walked for a short while until we found a nice spot in the forest with no major plants entangling the ground.
I ran to a random spot and screamed to my friends, "I call this spot! Later, we can battle each other!" "Alright, Ivysaur." I rubbed my hands together in anticipation, "Um, use..Poison Powder..?" I took a breath, "Focus on that bush over there!" My Ivysaur grunted and out came a cloud of purple; assumingly poisonous dust in the direction of the bush. A few seconds later the bush grew with a swirl of purple sparkles. "Um..kay, I think..that worked? Let's not find out!" I mean, I was pretty sure it worked, no need to get, poisoned?
"Ivysaur, Razor leaf!" The Ivysaur bulged it's small arms in concentration and out came small crescent shaped blades of leaves, cutting the edges of some surrounding bark off. I heard a small incoherent noise, to the north. "Hey, guys? I'm going for a walk with my Pikachu. Make sure my Ivysaur improves on Razor Leaf, got it?" Teal and Melani nodded in affirmative. "Pikachu, come here!" I felt my Pikachu climb on my back, its warm breath scattering around my neck and ear.
I ran in the deep growth, slashing myself a bit from the thorns. Why was I so curious by the noise? I knew it came from the mountainside. What Pokemon live there? Vulpix sometimes live there, but they're usually near grassland. Geodude, Cubone…what else? I saw a bushy tail similar to a squirrel pop into an Oran berry bush. "Vulpix!" So it was a Vulpix… "Vulpix, come here! Pikachu, come out and silently use Iron Tail on the Vulpix. The small Pokemon did as told, and I heard the furious growl of the Vulpix. "Dodge whatever Vulpix is doing!" I tried to find a good angle in the undergrowth. I was confused, the Vulpix wasn't doing anything! It was… crying? I took my knit bag and took out some Oran berry flavored Pokemon food. "Here.." The Vulpix stopped crying and stared at me, timidly crawling to the food. I picked up the Pikachu and backed away.
"Vulpix!" It cried when it finished the food. It came towards me and rubbed it's tail affectionately over my toes. I laughed at the ticklish feeling. "So, uh, I sorta need you as a Pokemon." I raised an eyebrow, "So, wanna.. Be my Pokemon?" I shied away. That was a really stupid thing to say to catch a Pokemon!
"Vulpix!" The way it said it, I can always feel that they were chuckling at me. "Might as well give it a shot." I muttered and took out an empty Pokeball. I shot it at the waiting Vulpix and it went inside. The Pokeball glowed with an iridescent light for a moment, before a few sparks bounced off. "Alright, a Vulpix!" I put it inside my bag and carried my Pikachu back to our campsite.
I ran excitedly but noisily into the acre of land. I was expected to be greeted with nothing much more than a greeting, but no. I felt a sharp pain, somewhat like a paper cut pelt me around my body. "Ivysaur!" I heard the high pitched yell and I ran around. "Ivysaur, stop!" The mass of deadly leaves slowed down before halting. There were no major cuts, but I had one medium sized one that was hit several times, therefore enlarged in size and bleeding a bit. I ignored it, "I got myself a Vulpix! And Ivysaur, I think you got Razor Leaf by now." "Ivy-saurr!" It laughed in apology and I went back to the designated area.
I turned my back to the others before being thrown to the ground by Teal. "Teal? What was the point of that?"
"It's seven now, happy?" Teal smirked. "No. I'm being squished by your fat butt." I frowned. I rolled off her surprisingly heavy weight and began teaching my Ivysaur Leech Seed.
