Zelena's time portal had died down. But no one had seen Emma. Or Hook. Or even the Doctor, the Professor, Clara, Belle and Mr Gold. The last that they had heard from them was that Emma and Hook were talking, and the Doctor had taken his son, Clara, Belle, and Mr Gold to monitor the time portal, to see the damage it had caused to the timeline. And the Time Vortex.

Near the edge of the town, there had been a roaring heard. Leroy had heard it while working in the mines, and he rushed to Mary Margaret, David and Regina – who were in the Sheriff's station. Having told them what he and the other dwarves had heard, they arrived at where Leroy had listened to the roaring. And it was then that they saw it.

A Tyrannosaurus Rex! It swayed its mighty head as it walked over the Storybrooke countryside. "See?" Leroy said. "I told you I heard something."

"Is it from the time portal?" David asked.

"I don't know," Regina asked. "But I don't want it here to find out. Imagine what it would do to the town."

"Imagine what it would do to Doc's Miata," Mary Margaret added, looking at Regina, then up at the dinosaur. "Big fellow, isn't he?"

Regina sighed. "Dinosaurs were mostly this size," she said, but looks by the others met her. "What? I went over dinosaurs with Henry when he was younger."

"But it still doesn't answer why this dinosaur is in Storybrooke," David said. "How did Zelena's time portal bring him here?"

The Tyrannosaurus Rex swayed its head again, and it appeared to be coughing. Regina tilted her head. "Is it choking?"

"Maybe there's something lodged in its throat?" Mary Margaret asked. "Something it ate?"

The creature then bent over as it continued coughing and retching when something flew out of its mouth, dislodged from its mighty throat.

And it landed with a plop near the entrance to the Storybrooke woods. Regina poofed them over to it, where they came face to face with the TARDIS. "I don't believe it."

"The Doctor," breathed David.

Regina turned to face the Tyrannosaurus Rex and waved her hand, surrounding the dinosaur in a force field barrier to stop it from escaping. "It has to be him," she said. "It's not every day a dinosaur vomits a blue box." She turned to Leroy. "Would you do the honours?"

Leroy sighed, strode up to the TARDIS, and banged his fist on the door. "Alright, Time Lord. Open up."

It was quiet, then one of the doors was pulled open from behind, and the unfamiliar face of the new Doctor popped out for a moment. "Shush!" he told the dwarf before slamming back inside.

Leroy looked at the shut blue doors. Who was this strange man? "Doctor?" he asked, uncertain of himself now. Was he asking the right person?

The face popped out again. "A giant dinosaur was chasing me, but I think I managed to give it the slip," he said and slammed the doors again.

Leroy looked back at the other three behind him. All were confused as to what was happening.

The doors of the TARDIS opened more slowly this time. The Doctor peered out at Leroy, quizzical – as if he was still trying to place a memory. He was, of course, still dazed from his regeneration and still dressed his the previous Doctor's clothing. "Strax?" he questioned. No, that wasn't right. Although the other man steering back at him was the same height as a Sontaran, he was sure it wasn't.

"Doctor?" Leroy asked again.

The Doctor advanced towards Leroy now, and Leroy was backing away. "Bashful? Sneezy? Dopey?" He then smiled as he remembered the name. "Grumpy!" He looked wider and saw Regina, Mary Margaret and David staring back at him. "Oh, you two," he said of the two women. He approached them. "The evil one…" he pointed to Regina, "…and the not-evil one." Next, he pointed to Mary Margaret. He then caught David's gaze. "Or it could be the other way round. I mustn't pre-judge." He turned around and saw the Professor and Clara exit the TARDIS, followed by Mr Gold and Belle behind them. They were terrified after their last adventure through time, when they crashed back into prehistoric Earth, but relieved when they saw they were back in Storybrooke.

The Doctor pointed over at them. "Oh, you remember, uh …" he was at a loss for words. He couldn't remember how to finish that sentence. "Thingy. The not-me ones…. Names are not my area…."

"Family?" finished the Professor.

"Might be family, might not be. It's a lottery."

"We are family," the Professor said when there was a massive bellow from the dinosaur above them.

The Doctor looked up at it. "Oi! Big man! Shut it!" he yelled up at it, then did a double-take. A dinosaur? He ran back to the TARDIS. "Oh, you've got a dinosaur too!" The Doctor ran around the TARDIS and then looked up at the dinosaur, who was unhappy about being called a man. "Big woman, sorry."

Clara cautiously approached the Doctor. "Doctor, listen to me. You need to calm down."

"I'm not flirting, by the way," the Doctor told the dinosaur ignoring Clara.

Clara looked back at the Professor. "I think something's gone wrong."

The Professor shook his head. "Regeneration is complex. He has to get used to a new body. A new personality."

The Doctor looked back at Clara. "Wrong? What's gone wrong? Have you regenerated? I remember you! You're Handles! You used to be a little … A little robot head, and now you … You've let yourself go."

The dinosaur roared again, and the Doctor turned to Regina. "The forcefield…"

"I'm sorry?" Regina asked.

"That magical forcefield, make it bigger. She feels trapped."

"Who feels trapped?" David asked.

"My lady friend," the Doctor answered, indicating up at the dinosaur. He then looked at the creature. "Just an expression, don't get any ideas."

"How do you know?" Leroy asked.

"Come on, Clara! You know that I speak dinosaur."

Clara stepped up, standing next to Leroy. "He's not Clara. I'm Clara."

The Doctor stared at both of them. "Well, you're very similar heights. Maybe you should wear labels," he said before, staggering slightly. He blinked his eyes. "Why … Why are you all doing that? Why are you all going dark? And wobbly? Stop that."

"I don't think that we are," the Professor said.

"Never mind! Everyone, take five," the Doctor said before he collapsed, headlong and unconscious.

Both the Professor and Clara ran to his side and took a hand each. "What do we do?" David asked.

"I don't understand," Mary Margaret said. "Who's this? Where's the Doctor?"

"Right here," the Professor said, indicating to the man lying on the ground.

"This is the Doctor," Clara said.

Mr Gold watched as he approached them. "Here we go again."
