Since the rehab is slower, I have more time, so I decided it was the right time to come back to my writing. I decided to explore the end of Scandal with a couple of twists. Olivia climbed into the SUV with Fitz. For the next ten minutes, it was silence. They were trying to figure each other out. Finally, Fitz spoke. How do you feel about taking some time off and heading to Vermont with me?

Olivia looked at him, I am all about spending time with you. I am just not sure about Vermont.

They looked up and they were at the hanger where Fitz requested to be picked up. He helped Olivia out and into the helicopter. Before they took off Olivia looked at Fitz, I am going to do better communicating with you. I promise our relationship will only be for the two of us. No more outside noise. Especially from my dad. Fitz smiled and leaned in and kissed her. He pulled back a little and whispered against her lips, I love you too Livvie so much.

They were not in the air long, but when Olivia looked out the window she was confused. It did not look like their home.

Before she could say anything, Fitz said, I promise to explain everything once we get inside.

They landed and once the house was cleared the couple made it inside. Inside of a new home.

Fitz began to explain, that once we had the intervention you would have nightmares sometimes asking me why our home. At the time I was desperate, and I did not think things through. You had not even seen the house completed, and that is how you got the tour. While I do have the means to just move on from the house I decided not to. The remodel is about done, but I turned it into a business center/ second home for us to work from. Separate entrances are being created so that when we meet they will not come into the home. I still wanted to have that additional space if we had a long night we could stay and have room for our teams to stay, especially in the winter. You know how the winters are here and in Washington. I paid attention to the design details you wanted so when I had this house built as you can see it incorporates the colors and designs you wanted in the home. No need now to do a remodel unless we want something different. I know I did not consult you on these decisions. The truth is I was scared to hear what your answer would be so I did it and hoped you would want this later. I was not anticipating it so soon. I am sorry. You know we can change anything you want.

Fitz was about to continue when Olivia stopped him, Baby, stop it is fine. You have always bent over backward for me. I am sorry that I have not always respected the love you have shown me. I would have been fine with our other home. However, I love the decisions you made. I love that we can start fresh here, but I love that we still have the other home. That weekend we spent together when you showed me the home is special. The intervention was hard, but it will never overshadow what we created. The outside is stunning, and I cannot wait for you to show me around, but before you do we need to discuss something first.

I talked with my dad before I went to the White House. As far as the authorities everything with B-613 has been destroyed. The organization has been disbanded, but that does not mean that people who have been wronged will not try to use it to their advantage against the United States. My dad was given a job that is classified, and he is responsible for keeping an eye out for those problems. I made it clear that I was leaving with you. He understood, but he said that there is something we need to take care of.

Mellie is bent on showing that they are fit for the job as President and that she is overturning executive orders that you have in place that they believe are not in line with the Republican party. They are also not the happiest with who she has selected as her new COS. The party was okay with a couple of the orders, but she is going too far. She was recently threatened that if she did not slow down, they would expose that Teddy was not America's baby, but a sham to keep you in office. She told them she did not care. It was not under her administration.

Fitz jumped up, yes, it might have been under my administration, but Teddy is old enough to understand. It would ruin him. He would never be able to live it down. It is bad enough that I agreed to joint custody for her image as a mother. I want him, Olivia.

Olivia grabbed his hand; He wants you too. I asked Dad to get the Secret Service to use a couple of his men on the details in the White House so we could keep an eye on Mellie. I am sorry I did not tell you about dad and the men that he has put in the White House.

The nannies have expressed to Mellie than her parading Teddy to all these events is too much. Teddy acted out once, and she threatened to send him to boarding school next year when he is of age. He asked to live with you, and she told him you were too busy for him. She has gone through four nannies thus far.

Livvie, I need...

Fitz, you do not even have to ask. I love all of you and that includes your children. Trust me Teddy will be with us soon enough.
