New chapter YAY! Had a huge writers block for what felt like forever... But I got it done! Hope you enjoy it :)
End of previous chapter
A sudden chime of the school bell went through the office and corridor from the speakers.
"Well I guess it's time for class then," Mr Harino said, moving away from Kariya and back over to his desk, grabbing his bag. He headed for the door, and quickly turned around to face him again.
"Meet me in room 210 after school," he said with a smile, then left, leaving Kariya frozen and shocked. He slowly slid down the wall and sat down, he eyes wide as soccer balls. He couldn't believe what just happened. Was Mr Harino... About to kiss him? Any second longer, he might be kissing him this very second. Kariya felt his face burn from embarrassment of the thought of what could have happened. But he didn't have a problem with it. It never crossed his mind. But now he wanted to meet Kariya after school. Who knows what will happened. Kariya buried his face in his hands.
"Who is this man?" He thought.

Kariya stumbled into his classroom about 10 minutes after his "conversation" with Mr Harino. He was in a world of his own as he sat down at his desk. Tenma and Aoi watched him with worried expressions, before walking over to see what was on his mind.
"Hey Kariya. Are you ok? You've been acting... Differently ever since yesterday," Aoi said.
"Hmm?" Kariya said without looking towards them, only to continue staring into space.
"Kariya?" Tenma said, trying to get his attention. Kariya didn't respond, before Aoi tapped Tenma on the shoulder.
"I need to talk to you," she whispered. Tenma nodded, and follow Aoi to the other side of the room away from Kariya.
"Something is definitely up with Kariya," Aoi whispered. "And I don't understand why he's not telling us anything. Do you think something's wrong?"
Tenma looked back over to Kariya, who still hadn't moved a muscle.
"I know he's been acting strange, but he may just not want to talk about it," Tenma said. "It may be personal."
"I know that, but I'm still worried about him."
The door of the classroom slid open, and Mr Harino walked in as he did yesterday.
"Alright everyone, take your sits, and lets begin homeroom," he said loudly. As Tenma walked over to his sit, he noticed Kariya slouching in his sit and looking straight down.
"Kariya? Are you sure you're alright?" Tenma asked.
"Yeah I'm fine," he snapped. Tenma looked closer at Kariya's face and realised he was blushing a deep red.
"Seriously Kariya. Is something wrong?" Tenma asked. Kariya only shock his head.
"Tenma, would you mind sitting down so we can begin?" Mr Harino asked.
"Oh right. Sorry," Tenma apologised before sitting at the desk in front of Aoi.
About half way into homeroom, Kariya still hadn't lifted his head. Tenma was extremely confused, and wanted to know what was going on. He suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder, and quickly turned around.
"What's wrong with Kariya now?" Aoi whispered.
"I still have no idea, but when I talked to him before I sat down, it looked like he was blushing," Tenma replied.
"Blushing?" Aoi repeated.
"Tenma! Aoi! Please stop talking," Mr Harino said.
Tenma quickly turned back around to face the front. "Sorry," he said.
Mr Harino continued the homeroom duties, before Aoi tapped Tenma on the shoulder again. "What do you mean blushing?" She asked even quieter than before.
"I mean like full on blushing, like he was embarrassed," Tenma replied as quiet as Aoi.
"But why would he be blushing?"
"How should I know?" Tenma said.
"You two back there! Can your conversations wait until homeroom is over?" Mr Harino asked firmly, starting to get frustrated.
Both Tenma and Aoi looked down without replying, avoiding their teacher's gaze.
"I thought so," he said, before once again going back to the homeroom duties. Tenma looked over to Kariya with a confused and worried expression. He wanted to know what was wrong, so he could help him.
Less than five minutes later, Tenma felt yet again another tap of his shoulder.
"Do you think he got in trouble with Mr Harino? I mean since he walked in, Kariya hasn't looked at him," Aoi whispered.
Tenma looked at Kariya once again, and realised that Aoi was exactly right.
"Yeah it must have something to do with Mr Harino," Tenma said.
Suddenly, Tenma and Aoi heard a loud noise from the front of the room, scarring both of them. Mr Harino had slammed the class roll onto his desk at the front of the room and was staring straight at the two of them.
"How many times do I have to tell you two to be quiet?! I've told you to stop chatting three times in the last ten minutes!" Mr Harino said angrily. "What is so important that you have to talk about this instant, disturbing everyone in the class and me? Hm?"
Everyone in the class turned towards them.
Aoi spoke with her head down. "Sorry Mr Harino. We won't do it..."
"You won't do it again right?" Mr Harino finished, his arms crossed. "If you really meant that sorry, then you would have stopped talking the first time I asked you."
"It's not Aoi fault. It's mine. I'm really sorry," Tenma said standing and bowing. "I really am sorry."
Mr Harino just looked at Tenma, his arms still folded, before sighing.
"Stand up Tenma," he said. Tenma slowly stood up again with a slightly panicked expression, afraid that he was able to get into trouble.
"Look, I've only been your teacher for a day, so I don't want to start on the wrong foot," he said. "But I'd really appreciate it if you didn't talk while I'm trying to get stuff done ok? I mean look at Kariya."
When Kariya heard his name called, his head shot straight up.
"He probably has things he wants to talk about with his friends, but he knows to wait until homeroom is over," he explained.
Kariya looked down again in total embarrassment, trying to hide his face.
Tenma looked over at Kariya, surprised to see him how he was, hunched over with his head down, his face completely red.
"I truly wish everyone would act as responsible as him," Mr Harino said, looking down at Kariya with a smile.
"Um... Th... Thank you..." Kariya replied softly, blushing an even darker shade of red.
Even though Kariya had his head down, he still knew the Mr Harino was looking at him. His heart beat fast and louder than the previous day. It felt extremely awkward and embarrassing talking to him after what happened only minutes ago in his office. Just what was it about this man that drove Kariya's mind and heart insane?
Mr Harino eventually looked up at Tenma. "You can sit down now Tenma."
Tenma sat down quickly, not saying a single word.
"I'll let you two off this time. But if I catch you talking again, there'll be trouble. Do I make myself clear?" He asked Tenma and Aoi.
"Yes sir," they said together.
"Good."
The bell then went for the end of homeroom and the beginning of the first period.
"Well, I believe we don't have maths today, so I'll see you all tomorrow then," Mr Harino said, trying to be over heard by the sudden sound over chatting.
As Kariya got up from his desk and collected his books, Mr Harino came over and whispered, "Remember, room 210 after school," then walked off.
Kariya stood still. He was thinking of just leaving after school not having to face him again, but now... He was truly afraid to going to see him after school.
Tenma and Aoi watched from their desks.
"You're definitely right Aoi. Something's going on between Kariya and Mr Harino," Tenma said. "But I don't think Kariya got in trouble. Well he didn't look like he was in trouble."
"I was thinking the same thing," Aoi replied. "Them what could it be?"

Kariya stood in front on room 210. Throughout the entire day, Kariya was trying to think of excuses for not seeing him, yet his body still led him to this room as soon as the end of day bell went. But right now, he didn't want to see him. He just wanted to turn around and head home. Yet still after that incident they had earlier that day, Kariya's mind still trusted him. But even with all of these thought speeding through kariya's mind, he finally slid the door open and enter the room, despite what he thought.
As expected, Mr Harino was leaning on a desk before standing up once seeing Kariya.
"Took you long enough," he said with a smile.
"Yeah... Sorry..." Kariya replied looking down at his shoes.
Mr Harino's smile vanished as he walked over to Kariya.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
"...nothing..." Kariya replied unconfidently.
"Really? Because you've been acting strange ever since homeroom this morning."
Kariya's eyes shot open. "Crap! He noticed!" Kariya thought.
"What's wrong?" He asked again, walking slowly closer to Kariya, just like earlier that day.
"Nothing... really," Kariya said jolting his sight from side to side, trying to avoid his strong gaze.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
Once again, Kariya had reached the end of the room, his back against the wall. Mr Harino rested his arm to the right of Kariya's face and lent in closer and closer.
"Tell me," he said firmly.
"There's nothing wrong!" Kariya shouted.
"You're lying."
"I'm not lying!" Kariya shouted louder, starting to get frustrated.
"Then why can't you look me in the eye?"
Kariya's P.O.V
What was wrong with this guy?! He's the one who basically forced himself on me earlier today, and is asking me whats wrong! I couldn't take it anymore. He wants to know, well I'll tell him.
"Because you nearly kissed me!" I yelled. It went completely silent, making my voice echo throughout the room. "What's with you? I mean... I don't even remember you, and it's like you know me better than I do or something! Do you understand how that makes me feel?! I can barely trust normal people. How am I suppose to believe we've meet before?!"
He moved away slightly after my outburst of anger. "Everything seems to be on your mind," he said calmly.
"Why can't you just leave me alone?" I said harshly, pushing him away and headed for the door. Suddenly I was pulled by the wrist to face him again.
"How do you think it makes me feel with you not remembering me?" He asked. "Kariya, why would I lie to you? The time we spent together in the orphanage was incredible for me. I truly loved spending time with you back then. And now for you to not remember me is hard, extremely hard."
I stared at him, amazed by what he had just said. Was this some sort of pity act? If it was, it was a pretty good one. I felt terrible about what I said before. But he still could be lying... Or could he? Damn it! I don't even know anymore.
"I'm... I'm sorry for not remembering..."
"It's not your fault," he replied.
It went quiet. But it wasn't awkward, it was... Nice somehow. As time went on, he slowly losses his grip on my waist, until he let go.
"You don't need to apologise anymore Kariya. In fact... I should be the one apologising," he said.
I looked up at him, not saying anything, but still wanting to know what he meant.
"You were right when you said I was forcing myself on you. It wasn't right and... I'm sorry," he said before walking past me and heading for the door. "Just forget about everything I said about meeting at the orphanage. If you don't remember, then there's really no point of me remembering either."
I couldn't believe this... After all he said, about how much he loved spending time with me... He just wants to forget it? What have I done? I didn't care what my mind had to say anymore... Deep down... I knew I could trust him.
I quickly ran after him before he could leave the room and hugged him front the back.
"I'm sorry!" I shouted with my face buried into his back. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it like that... I'm just so confused..."
He didn't say anything. He grabbed my wrists released himself from the hug, and turned around to face me.
"I already told you, you can stop apologising," he said calmly with a smile.
Even after what I said, he could still smile... I felt my eyes start to water as I attemped to make myself taller by standing on my toes, and wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into another hug.
"I'm sorry!" I said again, having tears running down my face. I didn't care if he was lying or not anymore, I really felt a connection with him. And by the way he talked to me, listened to me, even looked at me, I feel that we did meet before. He was bent over even though I was trying to match his height, so he placed his arms around my back and lifted me up so he could hug me back.
"Um... Mr Harino...?" I asked after a few minutes into the hug. "Could you put me back down?"
"Sure," he said softly before carefully putting me down. Here then bent over and placed his hand on my cheek. "And I already told you, you can call my Zerf."
I stared at him, still having tears running down my cheeks. I couldn't take it anymore... I just... Couldn't... I placed my hands at the back of Zerf's head, closed my eyes and pulled him close so my lips touched his. An instant spark ran through my entire body, from my head to my feet. We both didn't move, or made any noise. It was so quiet, so peaceful, and i really liked it. I had no idea how long we stayed like that, yet when I slowly opened my eyes, I realised exactly what was going on, and pushed him away, separating from the kiss. I stared at him in utter shock, having both of my hand covering my mouth.
"Are you ok?" He asked, looking a little worried.
"I... I..." I couldn't speak. What was that? I quickly turned around and bolted out of the room. I could hear Zerf calling after me, but I didn't turn around. What was I doing? Why did I do that? What's wrong with me?!
