The beast lurked in the shadows, watching the busy streets. It was on a mission that was clear enough. It could smell the rotten stench of sin seeping from someone or multiple people that went on about their day. Its mouth opened, tasting the air, tasting the smells of the humans as they scurried along.
Since the arrival of the beast the humans have been…more on edge than usual. The creature couldn't blame them, after all what it saw as justice, they saw as massacre. Soon, they'd see the reason behind the creature's actions. All secrets of this city would be yanked from the darkness and exposed into the light.
Time for the beast was short, it wanted to rid this place of all sins committed by them. They'd pay for everything they did to the beast…everything they did to her and her family, everything they were doing now.
The looming sound of two people caught its attention, quickly it stepped back from the edge of the alley, wrapping the shadows around its form to hide itself.
As it peered out it saw two people slip into the shadows, one male one female and that rotten stench it despised.
It noticed that the woman was eager to throw herself against the male, plastering him with lustful kisses that screamed desperation. Their body heat was rising, something all humans did when they were about to breed.
The creature would have stuck out its tongue in disgust and left but it had a job to do…purge the odor.
Slowly it approached, dragging its nails across the concrete of the building on its left, while emitting a growl that echoed against the walls. This seemed to stop the sudden desperation of breeding and applied a fighting urge from the male.
The male was not bearing the mark.
"Who's there?!" He questioned in a masculine tone that screamed egotistical. He'd placed himself in front of the girl who seemed to smile once his back was to her.
He'd been a foolish human to defend the likes of them….Despite that they were human too..they were more monstrous than it was.
The beast watched the confidence of the male fade as his face dropped, all the blood that flushed his facial features had drained, leaving a pale ghost in its wake. His hazel eyes had dullen and dread swam in their pools. He stepped back, pressing against the girl who now found herself pinned against him and the wall.
He huffed as he felt the talons of the creature wrap around him, pulling him away. His body rocked as the dwelling fear of anticipation awaited for the strike. He however found it odd when the creature thrusted him out into the street. Not that he was complaining, he'd been grateful but as for the poor girl still in the darkness, pity filled his heart. He began to run, screaming out for anyone..anyone who could save her because there was no way in hell he was going to be able to do it.
As for the girl, her smile never faltered, she stared up at the beast eyeless sockets. "Hello, Shi."
Her tone of voice was a melody, one that could be described as sweet as honey. She was like a siren luring men to their doom. This girl was anything but what she made herself represent like. She worked for them. Filling their pockets with the greed of money, staining their hands with blood of innocent.
Shi was its name. A name it no longer referred to. It no longer wanted any allegations towards it. That name brought sickening reminders back.
You live under their mask…you'll perish under mine. Croaked the creature as it stepped closer.
"Ah…but what will that accomplish? Do you think it will revert the past?" The woman spoke in a singsong tone.
Instead of replying to her words the creature simply slammed a large hand on the building she leaned against, trapping her from escaping. She, like most of the others, must be aware of this thing and what it was able to do. If she escaped this time-it would just hunt her back down. Death would be the only way out. She was ready to die, she knew more than the others about the whereabouts of their location but she'd never tell, even if the creature tore her apart, or devoured her slowly. She wouldn't go out begging as the others did or will. She had too much glory for such a patheice death.
The creature had used its other hand to wrap around her throat, tightening the hold until the woman gasped for breath.
"I'll…see…you…in hell." She gasped out her final words before death.
Looking forward to it.

BONUS CHAPTER,
I was bored and I'm kinda liking this side story mixed in with the original plan I had. TBH I wish I had thought of this story sooner before coming up with an original mature version of the show's view.
I hope you enjoyed!
