Raph growled and cussed throughout Leo's whole explanation, when Leo was finally done they both bowed there heads in thought.
"So when the battle was done...and tell me the truth Leo...did he look bad? Like, ya know, deathly bad?"
Leo shook his head hesitantly, "I don't think he was that bad off but...he was close...Raph I don't even know how he could have possibly figured out how to focus all that energy into his tribunal state, I can't even do that!"
Raph simply shook his head, it was then a new voice joined the group.
"Never mind that! Did you tell Raph about how his eyes turned black?! He lost control in that state...he was almost...evil."
Leo and Raph snapped there heads to Donatello who was currently trying to sit up on a mat in front of them.
"Donny stay put, you're injured pretty badly...and yes of course I did, but Donny when do we ever see Mikey release his angry? Never. He just...exploded in the fight, it didn't last that long thank shell...he pretty much used all his energy with it...so much anger."
Don sighed, "I know the state he was in enhanced the anger into power but...that means that he had so much anger that it was used as a power source for him! That also means that...he's been dealing with all this rage alone."
All three brothers looked down in shame, then Raph grit his teeth so he wouldn't start to shout and spoke. "Well we need to be there for him, and now that we know we can just ask him and help!"
Leo and Don both nodded, all of the sudden the trio's attention was directed towards a lone caretaker that was running to a cabinet that was directly beside the Damiyos bed.
Upon closer inspection the three turtles gasped, the caretaker was covered in crimson and was currently trying to get as much gauze in his hand as possible.
"Hey wait!" Leo called as the caretaker rushed out in a panic. "What's wrong with our...brother...?" Leo squeezed his eyes shut and dropped his head in his hands.
Raph growled and desperately tried to get up so he could release his rage. Don just flopped back onto his mat and stared ahead trying to calculate every possible scenario that could be happening by just using that one image they just witnessed.
Minutes turned into hours and hours seemed like years to the three eldest, finally Master Splinter appeared at the door, he looked slightly ill and very disturbed. He took a seat on the floor in the middle of the three concerned turtles.
"My son's...Michelangelo is in a very fragile state at this moment. Although he is alive and slowly healing enough to wake up he has used very much of his internal energy. The caretakers are concerned that he won't gather enough energy in the next 24 hours to start most of the healing process...they said it could increase the time it takes him to heal by months."
Don frowned, "wait...can they make him go into deeper sleep or something to make him use less energy so he can save more for the healing process?"
Splinter shook his head. "They have offered to do something in which I have never heard before, they want to convert some their energy and let Michelangelo have what they produce of there own."
Don cocked his head in confusion. "So like...a blood transfusion...but for energy? How does that work?"
"They explained that they would go into what is sort of like your fours tribunal state's and simply convert a little of each of their energy into Michelangelos being."
Don looked down and pondered. "Are there any risk factors?"
Splinter shook his head. "None my son, I just thought you three would have liked an update on your brother."
The three eldest bowed their heads in respect and all together they chanted. "Thank you Sensei."
As he left the three brothers got in a circle and started talking. "Guys...have you ever heard of such a thing?!" Don exclaimed.
Leo and Raph both shook their heads.
"He really did fight till every bit of his energy was gone..."
Each brother looked down in shame, they each found unique and some absurd ways to blame themselves for Mikeys sacrifice.
