Alright, another chapter out. I decide to give Melissa, Silk's powers. But should she use Silk's suit, or Gwen's suit. Also I'll try to get out another chapter for another story out soon.

"I have a quirk?" Melissa asked, still confused about the whole situation.

"Well technically no, but for of your own safety well just call it a quirk." Kurt responded.

"What do you mean?" Melissa questioned still unsure.

"The spider that bit you yesterday, was the same spider that bit me, and gave me my powers. Now it's given you powers." Peter explained.

"How is that possible?" Melissa asked.

"I'm not sure but the day I gained my powers, a small spider fell and got exposed by radiation it then bit me, giving me my powers. When the event triggered sending us here, it also sent the spider. But now I learned something else about my origin and in time you will as well." Peter replied.

Melissa was shocked, gaining a power from an outside source was something she never heard of. But now the spider had giving her a gift, and a chance of becoming a hero. It seems her dream of becoming a hero was finally coming true. When she found out she was Quirkless, those dreams felt like they would never come true. She then shifted her focus, and made new goal of supporting heroes by building inventions. This opportunity she was going to waste, she had a second chance and she was going to take it. She then felt a hand placed her shoulder, looking she saw Emma looking at her.

"Becoming a hero won't be easy but you'll have us to help you out." Emma stated.

"So what do you say we test your powers out; don't you want to see what you can do?" Laura suggested.

Melissa was filled to the brim with excitement, group decided to see what the spider granted her. They first decided to test the power of her spider sense, by firing some rubber balls at her. At first she was nerves, but Peter informed her the spider's bite should have granted her increase durability. As they start Melissa showed signs of sensing the attacks, but wasn't able avoid all of the balls and got hit several times. When asked what happened, Melissa stated she was quickly getting overwhelmed. Peter then reworked the machine to match better suit Melissa currently level of experience.

This time she did much better, with Peter noting her spider sense, reacted much faster than his at the time. With more experience her spider sense would eventually surpass his, he also claimed her spider sense was more advance which may be why she quickly got overwhelm.

Melissa was surprised, but was thrilled hearing the news. The next thing they tested was her strength, they asked Peter what his highest bench press was he stated he never checked to see his limit. So in this case they he both Peter and Melissa draw a comparison to see their limit. As they started lift, they both blew past a thousand pounds, but Melissa started to strain by five tons, and couldn't go past 6 tons. With Peter he started slowing down around 8 tons, but couldn't go past ten tons.

As for speed the both managed to hit an impressive two hundred, and for a short burst could reach speeds past six hundred miles per hour. In terms of reflexes Melissa once again proved to be the better of the two. When they took a short break, Melissa was drinking some water, when she tried place the bottle on the table the bottle remained stuck on her hand. As she tried to pull it off with the other hand, very thin strands could be seen. Upon closer inspection it was webbing coming from her fingertips. Everyone was surprised since Peter couldn't produce webbing on his own, this cause Melissa to get a little gross out.

The next ability they wanted to test out was wall-crawling, Peter decided to look for a location that would be get for Melissa to start off with. While he was gone, the group went on ahead to see if she could shoot her like Peter could with his web shooters. It took a bit of concetration but Melissa managed to fire a few strands, but she been able to make them thick enough to swing on. Once Peter returned, he led them towards the spot he picked out. When asked why he needed to pick a location, he merely stated that it helps picking a spot with a great view. Once they arrived the building Peter had picked out, Messila grew nervous and stated the building was too tall for her liking. Peter responded by saying start help he get use to wall crawling more quickly. He reassured her not to worry, and her would be by her side, and would make sure she wouldn't fall. This made Melissa fell a little better, and with encouragement from the rest of group, she and Peter began the ascent.

At first Melissa started off strong, with Peter distracting her in order to keep her from looking down. At the half way point Melissa accidentally looked down, nearly causing her to lose her balanced. Peter acted quickly and grabbed her hand, placing it back on the wall, and helped her stay secured. Once she regained the courage they continued the rest of the climb. Melissa then asked Peter to take her mind off of the height and talked about why he became a vigilante. Peter then began explaining the circumstances. As they continued the climb, Melissa sympathetic when Peter talked about his past, and the mistake he made that would lead him into becoming a vigilantly. The loss of his uncle and aunt, its no longer he decided to take matters into his hand. However, she felt he was still hiding something from her. Peter went on to discuss how he met the others. As they gout higher and higher Melissa grew more confident and determined. Once at the top Melissa took to opportunity to catch her breath, and steady her heart. She felt Peter tap her shoulder, looking up she noticed him pointing at something. Curious she looked over to where he was pointing at, and was in awe. The view was incredible; she could see the whole island thanks to her enhanced vision. She took in the view, and could know see why Peter picked the location.

"Want to see what web swinging is like?" Peter suddenly asked.

Melissa asked what he meant since she didn't know how to use her webs to swing yet. Peter grinned as he suddenly grabbed her by the waist, and leaped off the building with Melissa in his arms. Melissa screamed as they were falling, instructively she wrapped her arms Peter, and closed her eyes.

"You know it will be easier to adjust if you open her eyes." Peter said calmly.

Gaining the courage, Melissa opened her eyes and was amazed as they swung into the air. The air rushed against her as she gained the adrenaline. The feeling of the wind passing you felt great, as did the rush of the adrenaline. She was definitely going to need to figure this web swinging out. Eventually the ride came to an end, as Peter brought her gently to ground where the others were waiting.

"That was incredible." Melissa said, as she caught her breath.

Everyone smiled, it was nice seeing Melissa quickly growing accustomed to and being enthusiastic about her new abilities. The group visited David in order test both Melissa and Peter. David wanted to make sure his daughter would be safe, and looking at Peter's D.N.A can give them some info. After drawing blood from the two and began looking into it, they found the traces of radiation in blood just as Peter said they would. When Peter said he didn't have a quirk it was shocking, but looking at his D.N.A was the proof, it was truly different from someone who had a quirk. And looking at Melissa's her D.N.A structure looked more like someone with a quirk. This came as a surprise as they were expecting the strands to be similar to each other. This meant they would need to do further testing. Once they were done, David stated wanted to do a few more test throughout the year.

Now with the opportunity the scientists requested for the opportunity to look at the others D.N.A in order to see if their X-Genes were similar to their quirks. With permission look to see if they were and similarities they could find. Once looked were the quirks would be located on the strand they noticed the X-Gene was on a completely different part. They then noticed something, going back to Peter's D.N.A strand they noticed the area where x-gene was located, was also were the area they had been mostly likely mutated. And Melissa's stand the area was where their quirks would appear. This perplex the scientist, both Melissa and Peter had a mutated stand where the respective gene for each world took was located at. Yet it wasn't quite the same.

Speaking up Peter offered the hypnosis that perhaps when bitten, the bite somehow activated those dormant genes. This intrigued everyone, does that mean they could active the dormant genes under similar circumstances of other. It was perhaps something to look into for the evolution of quirks. When they were done it was time for dinner, the four dimension travelers, plus Melissa and David gathered together. They went of the training schedule over the next couple of as well as other plans.

"Would it be alright if I borrow some of your equipment?" Peter asked David.

"That would be fine, may I ask why?" David curious to want Peter need.

"I was planning to create some temporary web shooters for Melissa that way she could practice web swinging until she was produce strong enough threads." Peter answered catching Melissa by surprised.

"If it's all right with you may I watch?" David asked. Truth be told he was intrigued how Peter made his gadgets. He had caught a glimpse when they fought the robots, and the amount of fire power they held intruded him.

"That's fine with me, also I running low on web fluid so I need to create more." Peter replied.

As dinner went on the discussion went on to what UA was like. David happily answered and went over the plan, since they didn't want to attract too much attention to the four, they wouldn't be under the recommended list. Currently he was looking for a place for the 5 of them to stay in, while attending UA, and he would also be sending them money to buy clothes and other necessities. Everyone stated that he was being too generous, but David merely waved it off, and said the only thing he need was for them to care of Melissa and help accomplish her dream. Which caused Melissa to blush. Everyone promise to fulfill promise to David. The rest of dinner they listen to the story from Laura's, Emma's, and Kurt's time with the X-Men. Lead to a theater in order watch a couple of movies. As they dimension travel were watching they could help but think of home for a bit. It would be a place they can never return to, but now they have a fresh start. If there was one thing they were going to do, is make the most of this opportunity. The group began to laugh, as movie they were watch continued, causing the atmosphere to be lifted.

Alright let me know who costume should Melissa use Silk, or Ghost Spider. Also should Melissa have the same set of gadgets Peter has except for the guns or should she have a completely different set let me know.
